Welcome to Crow’s Nest! This beautifully renovated townhome features a remodeled kitchen with stainless steel appliances, granite countertops and hardwood floors. Lovely! The well-equipped kitchen is sure to please both cooks and diners. The open floor plan makes it is easy to prepare, entertain and enjoy the gas fireplace, WIFI and mountain scenery. Centrally located, Crow’s Nest provides easy access to Canaan Valley, Blackwater Falls, Davis, and Thomas. Sunset views are spectacular! Summer visitors can enjoy air conditioning as well as an onsite pond and tennis court. You're going to love it here!

The townhouse is quiet and cozy. Super close to Timberline but we drove closer to go skiing. The house is very clean. Beds are comfortable. Kitchen was a great size and had everything we needed!

We had a wonderful stay at this cabin. The view is truly outstanding and the location is peaceful and beautiful. The cabin itself is overall clean, but some of the furniture is a bit outdated, and the pillowcases could have been cleaner. With a few upgrades, it would be perfect. Despite that, the overall experience was terrific, we loved it and had a great time.

Always pleased

We love to stay in the houses/condos of Woods End Court. Every one of them is furnished well and Best of Canaan realty makes everything easy. We love relaxing in the hot tub after hiking and snow play. Be sure to check out the great restaurants in Davis, Canaan, Blackwater Falls and the sled run if you come in winter. In the Fall, the leaves are amazing.

Yearly Ski Trip

We had a great stay. The location was good and there was enough space in the house for the kids and adults to move freely. A couple of items that could use improvement like furniture is old and feels like it could break. The grill is outdated and very dirty. We did enjoy the hot tub which was clean and updated. We would recommend the place.

Cleanliness was so-so. Just a 2 minute drive from the slopes. This was our second year staying here.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location is very convenient and the house was clean and tidy. However, the pictures were not exactly representative. The pictures show a fire pit on the balcony, but there was no fire pit when we visited. Also, lighting on the back deck isn't great and makes accessing the hot tub difficult. There was also some type of sticky spill in the Master Bedroom.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We overall had a great time at the slopes. The house had a few problems. Hot tub did not work. Had to call the maintenance person like 6 times over the course of two days. They never got it fixed. TV at night would sometimes have volume and sometimes not. The volume would randomly turn on. This happened a couple times. Overall our stay was average.

Crow’s Nest in August

We had a great time staying at Crow’s nest- the 3 bedroom with 2 and a half bathrooms and hot tub was the perfect combination for our family. The kitchen is well equipped and has all of the modern conveniences. There is a full sized washer and dryer in the unit as well. The views out the back were fabulous. There is a nice full service grocery store in Davis which is about a 12 -15 minute drive from the house. We really enjoyed staying at Crow’s Nest.

Great location!

This was our 3rd time staying in the area. Crow’s Nest was everything we were looking for! Location was clean and had a gorgeous view. I docked one star due to the fire pit not working and the master suite bed being pretty uncomfortable. But the hot tub was the perfect thing after a long day of hiking! Can’t go wrong with this house!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Just spent a few days at "The Crow's Nest". This is a duplex overlooking a pond with the valley and mountains in the background. Oh what a view we had. We spent hours just enjoying the view. The duplex was comfortable and well equipped but we did have a few problems. Those problems were addressed by The Best of Canaan office. I would recommend "The Crow's Nest" to anyone wanting to get away and enjoy a wonderful view and some peace and quiet.

Winter Ski Weekend

Good value property, it offers what you need near the slopes. Photos fail to show hot tub (about 5 person) and gas grill on side deck (off dining room), and fire pit table on small deck (off living room). Bedding, linens, towels were good and all bedrooms were warm. Kitchen well stocked, but maybe too stocked with less useful items filling all drawers, cabinets, counter and closet space. If arriving with food supplies there is no space to store other than the counter. Kitchen needs a good decluttering of old items. But overall, would recommend this property to skiers (1 minute drive to Timberline parking),.

Management company was conveniently located and responsive to questions. Kitchen could use a deep clean, many pots and pans were grimy and had to be washed before using.

Reviewer Comments: Our second time staying at Crow's Nest and we love the house, the location, being able to easily get to Timberline and also ski to White Grass. The management company is great too. A couple things weren't working well at the house and they sent someone over right away and took care of them. Baseboard heat in one room still needs to be repaired though.

The only thing I’d recommend is to bring pillows if you prefer sleeping on more than one.
