この施設について

Country Living

The main floor offers a spacious and fully stocked kitchen. There is a large family room with a TV, a dining room table that seats up to 10, living room, two half bathrooms, and library/sitting area . There are two working fireplaces on the main floor, one gas and one wood.

Upstairs there are 4 bedrooms and two full bathrooms, one half bathroom one being connected to the master bedroom. Both bathrooms have lovely, roomy tubs, and both bathrooms feature a rain shower. All of the bedrooms have queen sized beds and warm, cozy bedding.

Downstairs is the TV viewing room, with a projector, large couch, blankets and a foosball table.

There is a pool (seasonal) and 5 acres of pastures as well as 25 acres of forest to roam. Connected to the kitchen is a deck with a propane fire pit, two BBQ's, and lights strung up for sitting outside at night.

Fantastic property

It was perfect for our family of 8. Lots for kids to do: pool, badminton, tetherball, spend time with the ducks. It had everything we needed. Would highly recommend.

Wonderful rural property close to town

We love everything about this property! The home is super nice, and spacious. The property is huge and private, with so much to keep the kids busy (swimming pool, badminton, soccer in the yard). Lynn, the property owner is lovely. She was super responsive and helpful both times we have stayed in her home (yes, we've visited two years in a row). Thanks for everything!

The Merville Mansion

Delightful in every way, spacious rooms, huge kitchen with an ample supply of utensils for feeding 7 adults. The projection tv was a nice bonus for the football game. We hope to return some time when the pool is open.

Lonely home, perfect for friends and family

We've been staying in the area for the past 10 years each July for the Music festival and this was our favourite VRBO to date (also most expensive, but well worth it) The 5 bathrooms (7 adults of 4 families) was the clincher, but bonus to the swimming pool, BBQ for our chefs in the group, and lovely bedrooms. We didn't use any of the common areas as the weather was so nice we spent it all out on the back patio, and most in our group took a dip at least once in the hot weather. Having a full sized dining table on the patio made for a wonderful final night group dinner. We lacked for nothing in the bedrooms and bathrooms, and lots of extra's that we didn't use but really appreciated. One of our party may return in the winter with family for a ski holiday - 3 adult sons, a daughter-in law and, baby. As we are all "foodies" and chefs, it needs a few more plastic (dishwasher proof) cutting boards, better corkscrews (we all had our own :) and sharper knives :) Thanks!

Absolute Perfection!

Where do I even start with this place. We booked last minute which the host was very accommodating with. The property is massive which the dogs loved. The kitchen was big and great for cooking big family meals. The beds were incredibly comfortable and the master bathroom had the nicest shower I have ever seen in my life. The entertainment room had the best surround sound system I have ever heard before. We saw countless deer on the property. There was almost no light pollution in the area which made for great star gazing and the property itself was so quiet and peaceful. We're already talking about booking this property again next year.

Just what we needed

Merville House

We thoroughly enjoyed this property. Very well situated, beautiful house and grounds, great communication with the owners and very clean with everything a person could want away from home. Saratoga beach just north of the house was one of the most beautiful we've visited! Thanks so much to Lynn and family for sharing this special space!

Marvellous Merville

The property is a fabulous place for a weekend with friends to enjoy good food and great company. Everything we could have wanted was provided with extensive kitchen equipment, multiple areas for relaxation, both inside and out, and a wonderful swimming pool. We were delighted with the experience and will definitely book again.

A perfect home in wonderful location

The home is very spacious , and equipped within everything we could have wanted including: all the needs for cooking, a great basement entertainment system, a small swimming pool, enough great living rooms areas with sofas for everyone to find their corner to relax, four spacious bedrooms two of them with bathrooms. Lovely stay

We were 2 families (with 4 kids and 3 dogs between us) who came for a getaway. There was plenty of room for all of us and the dogs enjoyed running around the yard. There were a couple of minor glitches during our stay but the owner was super responsive and easy to work with. We enjoyed our stay immensely and will definitely look to come again.

Great Home Base for Adventure

This is a beautiful and very spacious house on private acreage, perfect for a larger family or group of friends. Easy access to Mount Washington, local beaches, nearby towns and more. Modern high-end appliances and fixtures, well designed and beautifully decorated. The host was easy to communicate with and very helpful. Strongly recommend!!

Beautiful, peaceful… a dream house!

Wonderful stay at Gold’s Hacienda. Incredible house with an elegant country home on the range feel. The house was equipped with everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. Beautiful bedrooms, incredible bathrooms, great bbq, fire pit and wood and a movie theatre!! A revisit is a must! Thank you for sharing you’re home Lynn and Barry!
