Créez de beaux souvenirs dans cette magnifique maison neuve, en famille et avec vos compagnons à quatre pattes. Que vous soyez ici pour dévaler les pistes du mont Washington, parcourir à vélo les sentiers de Cumberland, nager ou pêcher dans les eaux paisibles du détroit de Géorgie et ses environs, cette maison individuelle construite en 2025 vous placera au cœur de toutes ces activités. Depuis l’avant de la maison, vous bénéficiez d’une vue sur l’océan et la montagne, tandis que votre jardin arrière abrite une petite ferme de loisirs avec des chèvres et des poules, pour votre plus grand plaisir.

Cette maison flambant neuve, construite en 2025, vient d’être achevée et est entièrement équipée d’un mobilier et d’une décoration neufs. Elle est située juste à côté de notre ferme de loisirs, où vivent des chèvres et des poules. Elle comprend une chambre parentale équipée d’une télévision connectée et d’une salle de bains attenante. La deuxième chambre se trouve à côté de la salle de bains (avec baignoire), au bout du couloir. La cuisine ouverte et bien équipée est idéale pour préparer vos repas, avec un grand îlot autour duquel vous pourrez vous réunir en famille ou entre amis. La maison dispose également d’une terrasse privée couverte, agrémentée d’un mobilier de jardin confortable, d’un barbecue et d’un foyer au propane pour votre plus grand plaisir. De nombreuses places de stationnement sont disponibles sur place, ainsi qu’un abri pour voiture, pour votre confort et le rangement de vos affaires pendant votre séjour.

Divertissements :

La maison dispose de deux téléviseurs connectés équipés de Netflix, Disney+ et Prime. Vous trouverez également de nombreux jeux de société ainsi que des livres sur la région à lire.

Animaux de compagnie :

l’hébergement dispose d'un grand jardin partiellement clôturé, permettant aux hôtes et à leurs animaux de compagnie de profiter du grand air et de faire de l'exercice.

Situation :

La maison est située dans le quartier historique d'Union Bay, à seulement 10 minutes en voiture de Courtenay et à 40 minutes des pistes de snowboard et de ski du mont Washington. Nous sommes également situés à 10 minutes du terminal de ferry de Buckley Bay si vous souhaitez explorer les îles Denman et Hornby, et à 25 minutes en voiture de l'aéroport de Comox (YQQ). Une caméra de sécurité est installée près de l'entrée principale pour assurer la sécurité.

The property was immaculate and the setting was wonderful. We enjoyed the views of the ocean and Denman Island. The unit was exceptionally well equipped - if it hadn't been provided, we probably didn't need it. The rooms were clean, spacious, tastefully decorated and welcoming. Our host provided clear details on use of the facilities, as well as tourist information and recommendations on services in the area.A place we would definitely return to when back in the area.

My husband and I stayed for three nights with our two cats. The home was spotless, really well decorated and had everything that we needed for our stay. The hosts left a nice welcome basket with goodies in it and a delicious loaf of cheese bread and some farm fresh eggs. It was fun to watch the goats and the chickens at the back of the property. We would certainly recommend staying here.

An amazing little house in immaculate condition with all the facilities you could need. There are lots of thoughtful items dotted around the house - from herbs for cooking to games for children - that make it extra special. The goats and chickens are nice to have on site and our daughter really enjoyed seeing them. One thing to note is that the house is quite close to the main road and it is necessary to have a car. We couldn’t find any nearby access to the shoreline or public access to the forests near by. The hosts were very accommodating when we had a few friends over for an Easter egg hunt and kindly recommended an event at the local community hall for our daughter. Overall a very nice place to stay and much better presented than most four star hotels. Very nice hosts.

What didn't we like? Property is brand new and really well designed. A lot of care has gone into the details, from bedding to kitchen equipment, to a work space, outdoor area with BbQ, seating and hammock between two trees. Owners, Megan and Rodney left us a lovely welcome basket and treat in the fridge. They have a great welcome book with ideas on what to do nearby, we did almost all of them, including a nearby ocean walk and Coombs Market & Wildlife Refuge. Our grandaughter loved the goats, baby goats and chickens. Such a bonus. Planning our next time back.

What a delightful Christmas holiday at your rental ! As most of the reviews commented on, the welcoming gift basket of snacks and fresh eggs and bread were delightful treat when we arrived in the rain off the airplane. The space was just perfect for Christmas here with visitors and we all appreciated the beautiful layout and well-thought-out furnishings and decor. We made many meals in the spacious kitchen, which had everything we needed to cook with. The little Christmas tree and decorations were so appreciated and we felt very Christmasy in the space - which we loved. It was a great location for us to access family in the area and of course we enjoyed the pub down the road on several occasions. The goats absolutely are something to entertain everyone! We felt so at home here and it was one of the best holiday rentals that we have stayed at on the island. We will recommend it to family and definitely return to this cosy house. Thank you for having everything we needed and more!

Beyond expectations of any vacation rental! We have stayed in a lot!! Immaculately clean and Megan has spent her money in all the right places. Quality bedding, cookware etc where other vacation rentals cheap out. She has supplied anything you can think of and it was much appreciated. It’s very obvious she has put a lot of thought and effort into this place. Definitely book this if you’re staying in the area. It will not disappoint!!
