Private and spacious, and protected from the wind by gorgeous native trees whilst being just a minute walk from the beach, Saltbush sleeps up to ten and has everything you need for a relaxing time away.
Start your day with a Nespresso on the natural wood bar outside, then grab a towel and walk just a few minutes to sink your toes into golden sands and sparkling waves. Saltbush sits right in the middle of Culburra Beach, Warrain Beach and Wollumboola Lake, so take your pick of where to enjoy a swim, surf, or sunbake whilst the kids splash in the waves and your four-legged friends tire themselves out on the endless coastline.
Return to rinse off the sand in the outdoor shower, and enjoy lunch cooked in the beautiful modern kitchen or out on the BBQ, and eat at the balcony dining table surrounded by lush greenery and sunshine. During downtime, battle over a board game at the table, or spread out; two living areas mean that the adults can enjoy some quiet in the gorgeous upstairs living room with combustion fire and comfortable couches, and the kids can watch cartoons downstairs. Steal some privacy with a cuppa and a book in the small sitting room, with enormous windows to let the light in.
When it’s time for more adventure, those beaches are always close by, including Tilbury Cove with a protected swimming area and playground for the kids. Penguin Head Lookout has incredible views in both directions and seasonal dolphin and whale watching, and the owners recommend exploring the bird life and lake walks nearby, plus surfing and mountain biking if that’s your speed!
End your days on the balcony to watch the most magnificent display of the Milky Way you’ve ever seen emerge with the people you love, and rest easy knowing everything you need for the perfect holiday will be provided by Saltbush.

A peace full place for a relaxing holiday
First of all, I have to say the accomodation was great !
I would highly recommend this property if you are looking for a beach side accomodation where you can hear the sound of waves at night & morning.
My kids parents had a great relaxing time at this place. I am already planning to book it for future again.

Lovely holiday home that is pet friendly
Very nice property well furnished with great kitchen and utensils, pans, plates and crockery in very good condition. The downstairs bedrooms needed extra bedding for cold nights and some extra attention needed with cleaning in some areas.

Overall the house at Culburra was great and had everything we needed. Our only concerns related to the water that came in with a recent storm, and accessibility for our son. The stairs are tricky for someone with mobility issues. Otherwise our stay was lovely, the house very comfortable.

When we arrived we discovered the property had not been cleaned & gas elements removed from the stovetop.The property manager arranged for cleaners within 30 minutes however it meant we could not enter until 6pm after properly cleaned

Beautiful house
The house was beautiful, with plenty of space for sleeping and socialising. The location is great; a quiet plot in a quiet neighbourhood, and only a 5min drive to Woolworths and restaurants/cafes. The walk to the beach was longer than 1 minute, but still very close. The beach itself did not look like a good swimming beach as the water was very rough. We drove the 15 mins to Callalla Beach to swim there. The house was in good condition. There were visible hairs (assuming dog) on the staircase, but other than that, everything seemed clean. Property manager was excellent. Great communication and very helpful with all aspects, including adding an extra guest at short notice.

Our approach to property management is that we want you to feel that the property is your own for a few days. As such we limit our communications to a few important emails, but otherwise we will leave you alone!
