SECURITY BOND: A security bond is compulsory for all reservations. All reservations must pay a Security Bond of $1500.00 no later than the day prior to arrival.

A great favourite for many years, the Kentucky House @ Cowan Cowan is back for holiday rental. Located in a quiet area at the back of town, with bush views, and a two minute walk to the Cowan Cowan beach, is just perfect.
Sit back and relax on the covered deck, and enjoy the quietness, be greeted by the bird life from time to time, and enjoy.
Downstairs has the main living areas, kitchen, lounge area, dining area, and two bedrooms, laundry and separate toilet and shower. Upstairs is one bedroom with an ensuite with a shower and toilet.

The kitchen is equipped with a gas stove top/oven, plenty of cooking utensils, there is a bbq on the deck to enjoy a great night catching up with friends.

We welcome past guests back, and many new guests to experience this great home.

Linen is not provided. Please note that due to the absence of commercial laundry facilities on the island, linen is not provided for guests. We kindly ask that you bring your own linen such as sheets, pillowcases and towels. Linen supplied will only be: Pillows, doonas, blankets, tea towels, hand towels and bath mats. For overseas visitors please contact us. Thank you for your understanding and preparation.

The house is really nice and in a great location. What would have made it better is if there was wifi as there is no phone service. There was an nbn box on the wall but no router. Also outside water to hose your feet of after the beach would be good. Otherwise it's awesome.

The bunkbed is dangerous, the slats had big gaps, previous damage to the lader. The lader screws are the only thing holding it together, otherwise its just 2 beds and it is wobbly. No hot water the first night. Must have been overcast for the solar? Double mattress in the next room is not good, had several random springs poking me. BBQ pretty dirty orherwise, it is a charming property, about a 3 min walk to the beach, the beach has no cars, so good for kids. The deck in nice and the decor is thoughtful (though no clocks seem to work, a bit trippy). The seats by the fire pit are sweet. Kitchen is very nice and modern
