Enjoy life on beautiful Lake Superior with views of Sleeping Giant, Carabo Island and more. This 3,600+ sq.f Waterfront Rental is situated on three acres with 4 bedrooms and three full baths.

Close to many attractions and hiking trails: Sleeping Giant National Park, Ouimet Canyon, Amethyst Mines, suspension bridges and Canada’s longest Zip-Line at Eagle Canyon Adventures and so much more.

Located less than 30 minutes from Thunder Bay International Airport; under two hour flight from Toronto. Eight hour drive from Winnipeg.

This unique three acre property has lots of outdoor space to explore and plenty of waterfront that is shared with only one other unit. Sand beach with shallow waters in front of the rock breaker wall; perfect for children. Try your luck in finding Amethyst on shore and in the water; fun for kids and adults alike.

Two kayaks, Two Stand Up Paddle Boards and more available down by the water for both units on the property to use.

Bedrooms have magnificent lake and island views with sliding glass doors out to balcony.

Primary bedroom upstairs- King size bed, Crib, walk-in closet and full bathroom.
Second bedroom upstairs - King size bed, Double over Twin bunk bed
Third bedroom upstairs - Twin over Twin Bunk bed for children
Fourth bedroom main floor - Queen sized bed.
Three full bathrooms total with one being on the main floor.

Enjoy the outside rain or shine with covered outdoor seating and BBQ.

New washer and dryer in laundry room.

High Speed Fibre Wireless Internet and game systems.

Dogs allowed upon approval and pet fee addition.

Events allowed with advance approval, rental of both units, signed contract and payment of event fee.

The Lakehouse is one of two rental units on the property - The Lakehouse can be booked separately or together with the Guesthouse when available.

Outside beach is shared between 2 rentals. Be respectful of others. Each unit has its own balcony, fire pit and BBQ.Quiet time 9pm to 9am.

Damage outside of normal wear/tear,mess(such as garbage left in unit/yard, stains on carpet/furniture,dishes,vomit etc.),loss of property = fees$$$

Leave the property as you found it to avoid additional $80/hour cleaning charge. No unregistered guests. Additional rules posted in rental agreement.

Amazing property! Great for families, especially if you like cooking. We loved the kitchen space and had every cooking tool we needed. Several people could easily work together in the kitchen. The views were amazing and the beach was calm, fun to kayak and swim.

Mother's appreciation weekend

Every year we bring our Mothers somewhere for a long weekend to show our appreciation. This was by far the most comfortable rental yet. Very homey with amazing veiws. You would be fine even if you never left the house to see the sites. Everyone Loved this house.

Amazing views, wonderful hosts!

Our family of six spent a week at this lovely property. It is spacious enough for everyone to spread out, but had both indoor and outdoor spots for everyone to gather. The kitchen is absolutely stocked with everything you need to prepare and serve a meal, including seasonings, oils, flour, etc... They also had a lovely supply of coffee, espresso and tea and provided us with a welcome gift of some cold drinks and snacks. The view from the kitchen/dining area is truly magical, I enjoyed my coffee every morning admiring the gorgeous water and islands in the bay. The living room is cozy and the couch is comfortable, we spend a couple night watching movies as a family and there was plenty of room for the six of us. It's especially great for younger kids as they provide lots of toys, my kids personally enjoyed playing a little xbox when we weren't enjoying the outdoors. The bedrooms were nice, and beds comfy, but a little warm if you didn't sleep with the doors to the deck open and a fan running. The bathrooms had soaps and shampoos and a plenty of towels for everyone. The outside is amazing, there is a lot of space! We set up volleyball net and cornhole and spent tons of time in the yard. We had a fire pit one night and definitely enjoyed the covered patio area with the same amazing lake views as the kitchen. We spent plenty of time down at the water fishing (no luck), kayaking, searching for cool rocks, and just enjoying the clear waters. There were even beach towels for our use. The only thing we didn't know going in--but did not detract from our stay at all--is that the other rental property on site is the A frame part of the house. There is no access from one rental to another and we only crossed paths at the beach and in the driveway, so it wasn't a big deal, just something i would have preferred knowing. Especially nice for us is that we were able to bring our dog who loves traveling and the water. The hosts included treats for him in the welcome basket and had a supply of dog towels, bowls and doggie bags as well. He loved every second of being there. Thanks so much Alexandra, we didn't want to leave!

Family visit from abroad

My in-laws visited and they thoroughly enjoyed their stay at Alexandra’s place. The views were fantastic and swimming was fun! Alexandra was fantastic to communicate with. She has been very thoughtful, helpful and kind. Thank you! One thing that was unexpected and not described well was the second rental property directly beside the larger rental property. If it was described in the listing we would have tried to rent it out simultaneously. We would love to come back!
