Cozy River Cabin

This cabin was very cozy, has been remodeled and very clean. It was fully equipped with everything you need to feel right at home and located right directly on the river. There are two decks, upper & lower facing the water. So pretty! There is a separate, private little living space with bunk beds that was perfect for our teenage that has a sliding barn door that can be closed off. The only thing we weren't thrilled with was how close the cabin was to the winding mountain road that vehicles were flying past much too fast which made us a bit nervous. Also, you can hear traffic on the main road above the river going into Townsend which at times took away from the peaceful sounds of the water. The only thing we wished we had was a hot tub. So, I would suggest maybe adding that in on the lower deck. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend!

Heather and family, so happy you all enjoyed the cabin with the decks the view and the space for your kids. What makes the cabin so special is its location right on the river and are happy you guys experienced it. The Walland/Townsend area hosts lots of weekend events during the summer, cycling, motorcycles and festivals and yet when you make it back home from enjoying these events you feel like you are in your own peaceful space. We love it also, heading there tomorrow to get some mountain cabin time. We will look into your suggestions. Come see us again, Jim and Mary.

Perfect cabin for our family to stay in for a weekend! Me, my husband, our son and my mom and stepdad all throughly enjoyed our stay and even extended a day! The host was fantastic in communication and so kind!

We had an amazing time staying at the cabin. It had beautiful views of the river. The interior was very nicely updated and had everything we needed for our stay. It was very clean. We were in the area to go to Cades Cove. The location of the cabin was perfect. We would definitely stay here again.

The location of this cabin, on the “quiet side of the Smokies”, is RIGHT on the Little River. STUNNING! We brought our dog and she loved playing in the river. Would recommend and would stay again.

Property was very clean. Family and I really enjoyed the accomdations. Best part was relaxing on the deck overlooking the river. We will stay here again.

This cabin is updated and well maintained with everything you need for your stay. The special touches and decor make it extra cozy. The gas grill and eating area on the lower deck was the perfect place to spend time as you watched and listened to the river. It was so peaceful and relaxing. We would definitely stay here again.

Absolutely Awesome!

My buddy and I stayed here for 4 nights in April. Great location, river sound was so relaxing and cold! House is very updated and has everything you need when away from home!

Wonderful Place

This is our 3rd year staying at the Cabin. We love it and it’s a great getaway. It’s unfortunate, but the costs (specifically booking/maintenance fees) continue to outpace the value of the property. If costs don’t come back in line we will have to explore other options. This is truly a great place to stay if it fits within your budget.

Amazing stay

Our family loved our stay at this amazing river side cabin. It was perfectly laid out for our family of five. Sitting on the deck listening to the river was a wonderful escape. Easy access to the park made this a great stay. We would come again.
