Short Family Getaway

The pictures don't do it justice! This was a lovely place. It would be nice to have more night stands. The personal elevator was very nice to have. The access to the beach and pool was very close and convenient. We enjoyed every morning and night siting on the balcony taking in the ocean view. Thank you!

Georgia Ladies Trip

The property was absolutely beautiful! Every luxury needed to make all four of us feel pampered. The elevator right into condo and private parking garage made it so convenient. The beautiful kitchen, with island and large bathrooms and bedrooms was wonderful! The lovely balcony and direct view of the ocean and pool stole the show of course. Walking north on the beach brought you to the lighthouse and just next door to the south to a nice restaurant right on the ocean as well. Tybee was fun and charming and the close proximity to Savannah made for a memorable trip. We enjoyed Captain Derek’s dolphin adventure, live music at the pavilion on the pier, shopping and wonderful restaurants not to mention beach time and the pool. 4 days was not enough! We will be back.

On the Beach

First of all, someone should redo the pictures posted on VRBO. It is "a lot" nicer than it looks in the online photos and we almost passed it up thinking the couch was too small. The couch was actually quite large and the three of us had plenty of room to spread out while watching TV. However, one person had no back. The TV is programed to be simple to operate and worked very well. The beds were comfortable and the showers worked well. I think there could be more amenities there for guests. Other VRBO and AirBnB listings I've stayed at offered shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. This unit had none of those. Also, the kitchen may have been stocked at some point, but it really lacks a lot of basic things you need in order to cook. A large group could stay here comfortably except they'd need to eat out every meal or cart their home kitchen items with them. (There'd be nothing to cook with.) A large colander would have been very helpful for washing grapes and other fruit. It was amazingly simple to get from the garage parking to the elevator, and the elevator opened right into the unit. The key fob was a pretty slick method for operating the elevator going up from the garage. There were back stairs, but the security this unit offered was the best I've experienced. It was a bummer that the outside pool wasn't open later hours when we were there (First week of April.) We experienced very warm ocean water and many people were sunbathing, swimming, or quite surprisingly, fishing! The air conditioning works very well. The view from the master bedroom is pretty awesome. I wish we had planned a longer trip where we could have really taken advantage of the beach. We thought it wouldn't be warm enough to swim while we were there.

Fun on the beach

Excellent location right on the beach. Nice to be able to have our coffee/tea enjoying the view and sounds of the wave. Nice to have the elevator that opens into the condo. I would have liked more seating in the living room than just the sofa; it got a little crowded. Also needed additional bedside tables. Would stay here again.
