Hapuku river terrace is a breath taking tiny house with crystal clear views that extend from the Hapuku river to the sea.
The terrace is located in the foothills of the seaward kaikoura mountain range, where you can immerse yourself in peaceful bird song during the day and prepare yourself for an incredible night of star gazing.
Experience a relaxing soak in the outdoor bath, just outside the bedroom
Kaikoura township only10mins away.
We also wanted to make the tiny ad eco-friendly as possible, which is why you'll find a composting toilet.

Amazing property, highly recomended

A truely amazing property. Excellent location, very private and with awesome views. There has been a lot of thought go into the design and set up, all top notch. Everything was perfect, appliances, bed, linen, furnishings are all superb. We only stayed one night but would have easily stayed longer as my partner and I loved everything about this property. Highly recommended.

Birthday treat

We had the most beautiful weekend in Hapuku Eco Tiny Home for my sweet heart's birthday. Cool and rainy winter weather only added to the experience of the bush and Peninsula walks followed by peaceful and relaxing times in the beautifully appointed tiny home and the evening soak in the bath under the stars

Great views

This is a cute little cottage set on a hill with great views. It was well appointed with a great bbq but as set away from town (in a good way) be sure to bring all your food with you. The cabin had seasonings and olive oil for cooking. The outdoor bath a highlight. I was a warm day and given the orientation the western sun had warmed up the cabin a bit but the aircon soon cooled it down.

When you arrive at this property you simply don’t want to leave! The cabin has the most special and unique feel to it with quality furnishings and appliances and the bath outside on the deck is spectacular (even in the rain!) We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay here and our only regret is we didn’t stay longer! With no tv or wifi it was a great place to get lost in the serenity and away from the hustle and bustle of life and technology. This was one of our highlight stays in our 16 day tour of the South Island NZ. A definite must stay if you are in Kaikoura. Thank you!
