We stayed for a long weekend with our adult children, great view the backyard set up is amazing. We had a lot of fun grilling out and relaxing. Perfect water access for a boater.
The house and property were all we expected and more. We were able to enjoy the backyard deck and boathouse morning, noon and night! Perfect vacation home to rest, relax and make memories.
Loved the property, location and the accessibility to the boat ramp just next door! Only thing I would have preferred was some cleats on the side of the dock to make it easier to tie up.
Beautiful setting with lots of outdoor things to do ...
We truly enjoyed our stay. The place was just as described but didn't quite capture the abundance of all the outside amenities, not to mention the beauty of the location itself. The house was very well stocked with anything and everything we could've needed for our stay, even down to things you don't usually see in vacation rentals, like toys for children, coffee, bath supplies, etc. The boat ramp so close by was also a great convenience. We would definitely stay again if our travels take us there. Thank you so much for your hospitality!
It was beautiful in the back looking at the river go by.
It has been left unattended for awhile. The host mowed the night before we arrived. That was great. A few needed repairs. It will be a awesome place to stay.
We fished off the dock. No fish but huge snapping turtles and gators. The water is more fresh than brackish. Lots of boats on the weekend. Great place to relax.
The location was nice with cypress woods on one side of the property, a park full of trees on another side, and water out in back. We enjoyed going up the nearby creeks in our boat. The only problem I had was the gas grill needs to be replaced. Everything we brought to eat was meant to be grilled but alas, no gas and a filthy, moldy grill. It should be on the checklist for whoever cleans the place to be sure the grill is clean and functioning for the next guest. We will make a return trip someday.

Disliked: Cleanliness, check-in
Our stay
Very difficult to find in the dark. Direction weren’t clear. Overall outside was average. Difficulty in using the code to enter. We had to contact property manager. Overall experience was ok. No dish soap and towels were very sparse.

Liked: Check-in, location, listing accuracy
Disliked: Cleanliness
Amazing location, but not poorly cleaned/maintained.
Location, lot, view, dock, outdoor space, and utility are amazing. But, the house looked and felt like someone was just their the night before. Bathrooms were not clean. Shower had old used soap, hair, mildew and stains. The hot water only worked in one of the bathrooms. And there were roach droppings all over in the kitchen cabinets.
Only had one chance to go this year and the storm showed up during the 4 days we had planned. Very disappointing and I didn't want to leave so soon. On the St. John's River, 3 bd/2bath house, with plenty of covered areas to hang out of sun and the rain. The outdoor bar/lounge area, dock out to our boat, another covered area at end of dock with picnic table was perfect for us! Enjoyed sitting out there with the beautiful feeling of the breeze, yet sadly it was pushing our trip short as the winds start heading our way. Hurricane Milton was headed straight to our home. Therefore, we had no choice but to leave and return and prepare like everyone else. We did enjoy some well deserved and long overdue R&R during the 2 nights we were there. The beds are very comfortable! Being on the water is exactly how we enjoy ourselves. And this meet all our needs. Sun deck is in need of repairs in some areas. After all this the weather since Ian in 2022, and the recent Helene. I am sure it has taken a beating, flooding, etc. No big deal for us because we just stayed off of those areas. I blocked them with lawn chair and we still had so many other places to sit. The convenience for us, 24/7 with our boat going and coming whenever we enjoyed, made that piece of deck irrelevant to worry about. We could see the improvements and understand your challenge. Hoping to return again. Thank you for sharing your home, your peaceful river place. We loved it! Praying it survived the storm okay.
