Great Weekend Getaway

The place is as described an in a quiet area. Check-in was easy and the property was well equipped. Great spot for a weekend getaway.

The cabin was very homey and welcoming! We enjoyed relaxing on the deck and catch-and-release fishing in the lake. There are short trails in the neighborhood with pretty scenery. The walk down the back yard to the lake is pretty steep, but doable for everyone in our group.The road and driveway are paved and not too steep, which is a bonus in the mountains.Communication was fantastic! We had a great time and had everything we needed.

Property advertised as Lake Retreat. There was no cleared area that lead to lake. Rotted rope was the makeshift railing. Once down at dock, it was rotted and not safe. I had planned to fish.Could not use grill as the propane handle was broken in half.The biggest disappointment was checking in on a 90 degree heatwave & thermostat was at 80 and the house took 6 hours to cool down. Rental company knew a check in was coming & could have cooled down the house.

Kali, Thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry that several aspects of your stay did not meet expectations. We especially appreciate you bringing the dock and rope railing to our attention. Both have already been repaired so that future guests can safely enjoy the lake and fishing area. We are also addressing the issue with the grill. We understand how frustrating it must have been to arrive during a 90-degree heatwave and find the home warmer than expected. We are reviewing our pre-arrival procedures during periods of extreme heat so that homes are at a more comfortable temperature when guests check in. Relaxing

It was a peaceful and relaxing community. We loved waking up to see the deer in our yard every morning. It was a much needed break.

Our family of 5 had a wonderful experience. The home was clean and comfortable. Being on the pond was great for fishing. We caught bass, catfish and bream. The pool, walking trails and creek were all within the resort. The location is perfect for short day trips to Ellijay or Blueridge lake for a rental boat. We will definitely return.... perfect retreat!!

Peaceful mountain retreat

We loved our stay at this property. It was peaceful and quiet, lots of nature all around. We saw deer every day, and sometimes at night. The cabin itself is beautiful, had everything you could reasonably need, and offered us the perfect mountain getaway. We would absolutely recommend and would love to return. munication
