Ally was amazing host and provided a beautiful home for our stay in Hideaway Bay. Communication was top notch and little extras like a dedicated bait fridge and coffee pods made us feel most welcome for our trip. We will be back next time for sure.

Lovely house

This was a lovely house to stay in with spaces to relax, not on the beach front but close enough to walk to. Everything you could need in the kitchen and more....games, books, beach gear.

We loved our stay at Tranquillity by the Sea. The house was perfect for our group of 8 for a girls' weekend. So many little extra touches to make it so easy and welcoming.

The house was very clean, with heaps of supplies with plenty to do. The beds and furniture were extremely comfortable with an amazing layout. Ally was great and made us feel comfortable

Stay was amazing, all the comforts of home in a beatiful big well maintained modern home. All info required for a stay in the area was also readily available and all you needed was yourself. Ally was great to deal with and so outgoing and happy to tend to our needs. 100% would recommend.

Family gettaway

For our family group aged 58 to 88, who last got together 24 years ago, it was perfect. The large patio table became the hub of our four days. It had everything we needed, we only ate out on one occasion. The bedrooms. bathrooms were excellent. We did finish one jigsaw puzzle. Thank you.

Why they chose this property

In the small coastal town of Hideaway Bay – just as it sounds, is a gorgeous part of the Whitsundays with picturesque ocean waters dotted with islands. It is approximately 40 mins from Airlie Beach or the Whitsunday Coast Airport, plus Dingo Beach nearby is a popular spot with locals and visitors alike where the pub comes alive with music and great food. Cape Gloucester Resort is also just down the road where the restaurant and bar boasts panoramic views of the ocean – perfect for a day out. If fishing, swimming, exploring, or chilling out and being the only person on the beach is your thing – you MUST “check in” at “Tranquillity by the Sea” as this location is absolutely for you!
