About this property
The Residence at Te Whau at Stay Waiheke
Summary:
A rare coastal estate with sweeping ocean views, a private infinity pool, and beautifully designed indoor–outdoor living. Set above its own secluded bay on the Te Whau peninsula, this luxury residence is perfect for groups, weddings, or retreats. Spacious, private, and crafted for relaxation, it sleeps up to 12 across the main house and separate sleeping pods, an elevated Waiheke escape in every sense.
The Space:
The Residence at Te Whau by Stay Waiheke is designed around space, light, and those sweeping coastal views that follow you from room to room. The main living level opens wide to the infinity pool and decks, creating a seamless flow between indoors and out. Mornings stretch easily from coffee on the terrace to swims overlooking the bay.
Spread across three levels, the home feels generous yet calm, with warm textures, soft tones, and curated furnishings that keep the focus on the landscape. The kitchen and dining areas are set up for shared cooking and long, easy meals, with large windows that frame the water from every angle.
The bedroom layout gives groups plenty of flexibility. Four beautifully finished bedrooms sit within the main residence, each offering privacy and views. On the lower level, four architecturally designed sleeping pods extend the space, two with queen beds and two with king singles, ideal for families, friends, or retreat-style stays.
Every room feels connected to the surroundings: quiet corners to read, open decks to gather, and wide glass sliders that draw in the light and sea air. It’s a home made for unwinding, entertaining, and spending slow days in one of the island’s most peaceful coastal settings.
