We loved our stay- we didn’t want to leave! It was so peaceful and the cottage was so comfortable - would highly recommend it to anyone who wants to unwind and unplug.
Such a beautiful hidden gem nestled in the serenity of the native bush. The cabin ticked all our boxes - comfy bed, good water pressure, privacy, cosy fireplace and the bonus of a relaxing spa. We loved the combination of the rustic and modern decor and were complimeted with eggs & bread for brekky. Would definitely recommend and hope to visit again in the summer

If you want out in the country, this is your place. Whilst a lot to like the garden area could do with weeding
The perfect spot to spend a few days together after our wedding, surrounded by beautiful native bush and so many birds! We absolutely loved our stay thank you so much, the breakfast was a lovely surprise and fire was warm when we got there :)
We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay at the glade, everything from the amazing setting and nice forest/river walks, to the well thought out additions to the home like yard games and the speaker. We were also so delighted with the fresh bread, butter eggs and milk left by the amazing hosts!! We will be recommending our friends and family book themselves a nice getaway, also spoke about how nice and cozy it would be as a winter escape with the log burner. Very impressed
We spent a weekend at the Glade in Martinborough, and it’s truly a fantastic getaway for anyone seeking a blend of comfort and nature. The secluded location, surrounded by native trees and a beautiful stream, created the perfect setting for a peaceful escape. Strolling through the bush and feeding the eels added a unique touch to the experience.
The kitchen was well-equipped with everything we needed, including a high-quality gas cooktop and coffee maker, while the bathroom—with its garden views from the shower—was a real highlight.
Our only suggestion would be to have the outdoor furniture cleaned of pre-existing bird droppings, as we had to handle it ourselves before use. This was a minor inconvenience in an otherwise wonderful stay.
Overall, it’s an ideal spot to unwind and recharge, and we’d gladly return.
