Must stay here

We only booked last minute and were lucky that we could stay here as it’s normally fully booked. And we got why! It’s a wonderful area with a lovely house. Very clean and modern on the inside and beautiful on the outside. The pool is lovely and the view from the pool is just amazing. Alain and Marie where very helpful and kind. Definitely recommend staying here.

Idyllic gite

We had a perfect week at Alain’s with our 2 young children. The house was absolutely spotless and had everything we needed. Alain was a wonderful host, and organised a cot for our toddler and was very helpful and friendly. The location and garden were stunning. The best part for us was the amazing swimming pool. Lots of good things to do for families in the area, and it was a fairly easy drive from Calais. I hope we will be again soon, thank you so much for having us.

Absolutely beautiful!

Thank you to Alain and his family for providing us with such a beautiful holiday home for our week in France. Alain could not have been more helpful, but also gave us privacy to enjoy the pool and the amazing views. The house and the pool were in the perfect location to get the sun all day and the outdoor dining area caught the last of the day's sun, which was great for our barbecue. The closest town, Loches, was only a ten minute drive away and it had an amazing market on Wednesdays and Saturdays which I would highly recommend visiting. We also enjoyed canoeing and visiting the zoo. Alain has provided lots of information about attractions and activities in the local area as well as recommending restaurants nearby, we tried a few of the restaurants and they were amazing. We would definitely stay here again.

Amazing location with best hosts!

The house is even more beautiful than in the description, a real gem, especially in combination with the great hosts. They are completely gracious, unobtrusive, warm and extremely helpful if you have any questions. Available for a chat if you like, if not. Simply sensational! The accommodation is in an extremely quiet location, Loches is only 10 minutes away and has all the shopping facilities. We spent three wonderful weeks here and can only recommend the accommodation with Alain and Marie-Christine to anyone.

A perfect Holiday

The accommodation provided was excellent , I should say perfect . The cottage/Gite had a beautiful view over a valley, all facilities were provided , pool heated to 28 C plus, many chairs . sun loungers were available. Pool was for our exclusive use with separate pool room and shower. Within 40 minutes of the Loire valley and the famous Chateaus Thankyou for a great stay . I would recommend and stay again

Une parenthĂšse hors du temps

Mon séjour avec mes enfants au "Petit Cormier" a été une parenthÚse hors du temps. Pas tout à fait "luxe, calme et volupté" mais un paysage à couper le souffle que nous avons admiré matins et soirs. Nous avons été émerveillé en apercevant, le soir venu, des chevreuils et liÚvres mais aussi un renard ! Nous avons pu profiter presque tous les jours de la piscine qui est fort appréciable de retour de nos diverses visites. Le gßte est idéalement situé pour (re)découvrir les chùteaux de la Loire et autres richesses de la région. Merci à Alain et Marie-Christine pour leur accueil et leurs bons conseils.

Beau séjour dans ce joli gßte de charme

Nous avons passé un trÚs bon séjour chez Alain. La maison est bien équipée, le grand jardin trÚs agréable avec sa piscine et une mention ++ pour la vue sur la campagne. De quoi déconnecter! Nous avons visité les alentours qui nous ont beaucoup plu : Loches et son marché, Montrésor, Chédigny, Beaulieu les Loches (et sa sympathique guinguette)

Grand we familial en Touraine

Beautiful gite with breath-taking views

The property was tastefully decorated, fully equipped with all the amenities you might need and in great condition. The uninterrupted views from the gite was just stunning - very peaceful place to relax and recharge. The heated and large swimming pool was a great bonus and kept everyone entertained everyday even after a long day trip! Great location to visit this beautiful part of France, Our hosts were very welcoming and always available if we needed anything or for recommendations. Overall, absolutely wonderful !

Fantastique séjour

Week end en famille que nous avons tous les 4 appréciés. Les propriétaires ont été trÚs accueillants. Ils nous ont donné de bons conseils sur les activités que nous avons pu effectuer et les restaurants que nous avons pu découvrir. Le gßte est au calme, bien équipé et trÚs bien entretenu. Nous avons passé 1 semaine dans ce gßte idéalement situé pour visiter les chùteaux de la Loire. Nos hÎtes étaient aux petits soins pour nous rendre le séjour des plus plaisants. Le gßte est trÚs agréable avec un jardin et une piscine chauffée qui surplombent la campagne alentour. Nos hÎtes nous ont recommandé de bons restaurants à proximité qui ont ravi nos papilles. Un séjour paisible au milieu de la nature

Nous avons passé un séjour trÚs agréable ! La maison est parfaitement équipée, propre et chaleureuse. Les propriétaires sont en plus trÚs accueillants et sympathiques, ce qui est trÚs agréable pour les échanges. Nous avons particuliÚrement apprécié la vue sur la campagne et le calme, ainsi que la proximité d'un nombre importants de lieux touristiques. En effet, la pluie s'est invitée pendant notre semaine, mais nous avons profité d'activités appréciées par les enfants: zoo de beauval, futuroscope, musée de la préhistoire, cinéma à Tours, cité royale de Loches, Chenonceaux... Nous reviendrons avec plaisir!
