Everything you need in one neat package this stunning studio apartment is located on Sydney Harbour foreshores with views of the Harbour Bridge, Opera House and Luna Park as well! The location can’t be beat with the ferry wharf at the door for a 5 minute trip to the city. Relax in the pool or by the BBQ area*. An affordable treat for the luxury weekend right in the heart of Sydney Harbour waters. Perfect for couples. Free parking,* coin operated share laundry available. NO AIRCONDITIONING. Ceiling fan. Please note that the safe DOES NOT WORK. Pool towels are NOT SUPPLIED.

Resort style building includes reception, level access to the heated swimming pool* (heated for 6 months from October) and BBQ* beside the harbour, private jetty, communal entertaining area plus on site undercover parking* for one car. Just 7 minutes to the city by Ferry which is right outside the door and a 500m stroll to Blues Point Road dining and 1km to North Sydney station and CBD.

Please be sure to remove any tanning lotions, greasy creams or oils prior to getting into bed. These creams and lotions can mark, discolour and damage the linen irreparably and it is very expensive to replace and guests will be charged. 🥴

A compact space with dining table, comfy sofa, desk for your workstation and large TV.

Full kitchen, totally equiped with gas oven and cooktop, microwave and everything you need for nights at home.

There’s a comfortable Queen sized bed and lots of wardrobe space.

Modern streamline bathroom.

Parking* is in front and rear of building plus there is a 4 level undercover carpark - no allocated spot.

Laundries are on all odd numbered levels, so best to use level 11 or 9.
$3 wash $3 dryer - takes $1 coins.

Dispose of garbage in the laundry room.

Enjoy the wonderful Harbour front pool and BBQ area*.

*Guests have exclusive use of the apartment and can also use the shared pool, bbq, outside dining, jetty, laundries, parking and gardens.

You can’t get any closer than this to the Harbour and all it’s magnificent sights and attractions.

The Ferry wharf is only 100m, 2 minute walk. Buses also leave Absolutely NO PARTIES, NO LOUD NOISE OR DISTURBANCES AND NO SMOKING here.

Obligée de mettre optimale tellement tout est parfait : la situation (oui on a bien vu sur l’opéra et Harbour bridge et pas en se mettant sur le pointé des pieds !), l’hôte, la communication avec elle (Julie est au petits soins)…Alors oui dégâts des eaux la veille de mon arrivée mais tout a été fait pour que je soit gênée le moins possible et puis ce sont des choses qui arrivent.N’hésitez pas énerver chez Julie vous passerez un excellent séjour !

We enjoyed our stay at this apartment. The views were lovely and definitely the highlight of the property. The space itself was fairly simple and had most things we needed for a short visit. It served its purpose as a comfortable base for exploring the area. We didn’t use the pool or barbecue. But they looked lovely. Close to public transport.

Awesome location and views. Due to no usual access to parking was difficult with luggage and very tight driveway turns.With usual access would be fine but currently a problem and managed to scrape the front of my car leaving.

Sensational iconic view

Iconic Sydney view, Loved proximity to ferries, little bit of an uphill walk to food/cafes. Best Sydney trip so far. Handy to Luna Park and Kirribili markets. Few old appliances and last occupant had left the dishes a bit greasy. Julie was a very responsive host. Would definitely book again.

Very disappointed

We have regularly patronised the accommodation in this block and previously have really enjoyed our stay , especially the wonderful location . However , this time we were very disappointed because the studio was well below our expected standard . The cleaner had done his job adequately and there were no problems there but unfortunately there were too many other minuses:a) dirty and stained blankets ,b) cheap , thin ill fitting bed linen,c)uncomfortable , cheap dining chairs ,one of which was broken and unusable,d)a broken luggage rack, e)heaters which didn’t work.Unfortunately we will have to think carefully before we patronise the place again .

81 Harbourside Studio McMahons Point

This was a wonderful place to stay, overlooking the Harbour and iconic Sydney. Close to transport, cafes and restaurants, Julie’s studio is a quiet retreat with all amenities and beautiful views. Easy check-in and checkout, with supportive staff. We loved it and will definitely return.

Really enjoyed our stay in this studio apartment. The view was impressive all times of day. Ferry on the doorstep for ease of travelling. Enjoyed the harbour side pool area to relax at the end of our busy day. Would stay again.

Beautiful View and Excellent Location

The studio apartment is perfect for 2 people. A perfect view of the Sydney Harbour Bridge and Opera House. Also, it is located directly across from Luna Park. It is an easy walk to the ferry and takes you to Circular Quay, where all the restaurants and activities start. There is a quaint neighborhood in a 15 minute uphill walk. Definitely would stay there again. Julie is very responsive and helpful.

Host admits getting nasty comments from prior GUESTS. NOW I SEE WHY!!!

Broken elevator was stranded on the 16th fl. Host's response "I don’t know what you expected me to do? Wave a magic wand or carry you down the stairs? " and "your accusations are greatly unfounded." Eventually conceded, but not before make a list of rude accusations. Very rude. Took no responsibility.

The property contained every convenience for our 8 day stay but most importantly the location was fabulous with panoramic, beautiful views of the harbour bridge, Sydney, Opera House and right on the harbour with ferry at the door. Far more relaxing to enjoy the best of Sydney and the harbour. Far, far better than in the cbd. Highly recommended.
