The house was amazing. We kept saying how well appointed and decorated it was. Having the washer and dryer was great. The location is ideal; close to Roscommon and the local shops. The swimming is great for kids as it’s shallow for quite a ways out.

Beautifully furnished cottage!

We loved our time at this trendy cottage that has everything you need for a relaxing stay. We enjoyed cooking in the well stocked kitchen and the beds were very comfortable. The view was great! We would definitely stay again.

Beautiful place on the water.

Stargazer was beautiful and had all the touches to make our week a memorable one. The cottage had only the highest quality of furnishings and touches.

Wonderful stay!

We absolutely loved our time here. The cottage was very well remodeled with many high quality features. It was perfectly clean and we felt very comfortable. The view is incredible and the water area was very nice and a great spot for little kids to enjoy with the perfectly clear, shallow water with a sandy bottom. We hope to come back!

Beautiful property on Higgins Lake

We have rented many places, and this rental was perfect ! It was beautifully redone & very clean . Everything we needed was there & the owners were readily available to answer questions. Higgins Lake never disappoints !! We would definitely rent this property again !

A wonderful place to stay.

Stargazer is an absolutely beautiful home. It was clean, up-to-date, and had every accommodation needed. The check in was flawless The view of Higgins Lake was incredible. The hosts were easy to contact and responded to any questions in a very timely manner. I cannot recommend this home enough. I can’t wait to go back again!

Stargazer was a beautiful stay

We really, really enjoyed our stay at Stargazer. The place has been beautifully remodeled and is tastefully done down to the smallest details. Our only wish was that there was a fire pit or even a portable pit that has the fire contained. The water and views can't be beat however at this location.

Wonderful Lake House!

Lake house was beautiful! All the comforts of home. Everything in the home was well thought out. Kitchen lacks for nothing. Beds are super comfortable. Sunsets are stellar! The hosts welcome manual has all the questions you might have on “how does this work”addressed easily in the manual. I give the home 5 stars plus. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Couldn’t be happier with our stay at Stargazer

Stayed at Stargazer during week before Memorial Day weekend. It’s really a well-done property. Wonderful view of the lake, absolutely perfect set up inside, including amenities for any cooking occasion, supplies, and comfort. Mike and Stephanie designed it very tastefully, with comfortable beds and pillows, excellent appliances, cozy fireplace, and outdoor grill and Firepit set up. We’ve stayed at multiple vacation rentals over the last 20 years—we couldn’t have been more pleased with our stay.

Fantastic Vacation

We stayed here with our two young boys and had the best time. This is one of the nicest places we’ve ever rented and everything was thoughtfully curated and appointed. There are beach towels, s’mores sticks, a fire pit, the most comfortable beds, and a kitchen with everything you need. Mike was a lovely host and was always available if we ever needed anything. We spent our days boating and fishing and our evenings outside enjoying a fire or a beautiful sunset. It was truly magical to be able to experience Higgins Lake with our boys, and we plan on returning next year as well.

Home Away From Home

This property is amazing. It is super clean and had an abundance of amenities that you don't typically see in a rental, including laundry soap, zip lock bags and enough garbage bags and toilet paper! The owners have truly supplied everything, while supplying nice amenities like the Weber grill, Solo Stove firepit, and Ralph Lauren towels. The view from the living room windows is beautiful and Higgins Lake really is the best. We hope to stay again soon!

I honestly can’t say enough good things about this place. From the moment we walked in, we knew it was something special. This is, without question, the nicest waterfront home rental we’ve ever stayed in, and I have already asked if we can come back next year (and any other time it’s available!). If I could buy this place, I would!Everything about the home is beautiful. The furniture is incredibly comfortable, the beds are amazing, and every room feels warm, welcoming, and thoughtfully designed. The kitchen is stocked with absolutely everything you could need, and you can tell the owners didn’t cut corners anywhere—every detail feels high quality and well cared for. It’s also extremely clean!The location on Higgins Lake is absolutely perfect and made our stay even more memorable. It was the kind of place that is hard to leave because it truly felt like home…maybe even better.The only tiny suggestion I’d make is to have a few more bath towels available. Even that wasn’t really an issue because they graciously provide plenty of laundry detergent, so it was easy to throw in a load whenever we needed to.Thank you for sharing such an incredible home with us. We made wonderful memories here and are already looking forward to coming back. This is one of those rare places you never stop thinking about after you leave. We recommend it without hesitation!

Home away from home

From the time we walked in until we left, we just kept discovering how thoughtfully arranged everything is in this home. It was meticulously clean. The furniture and beds were extremely comfortable. The sunset views and the stars were beyond beautiful. The lake was nice and shallow to wade out for quite a long ways from the dock. The owner stopped by personally to introduce himself and make sure all was going well with our stay. We cannot wait to returnreturn.comfortable.walshower is huge

We enjoyed our stay at The Stargazer Lake House. Its such a cozy little spot and the owners have done a great job remodeling it. They have given much thought to every little detail. One of the best parts is that the kitchen was fully stocked. Not just random odds and ends. Fully stocked with high quality pieces. Not only was the house great but the views were amazing as well. We didn’t get much time on the water because Michigan weather was not on our side. But my husband and 4 year old braved the cold and waded all the way out to the red buoy and he thought that was so cool! If you’re looking for a cozy and comfortable lake house with great views then this is your spot. We had a great time!

We enjoyed our stay at the beautiful lake front property. Everything inside was of top quality! We loved all the windows to look out from the living room, dining room and kitchen. We also enjoyed having bonfires at night under the stars. We will be back for sure!!

The home is beautiful. Recently renovated, it is in great shape, from the stainless steel appliances to the gas range to the dual bathroom sinks to the walk-in shower, the home is beautiful. Mike and his wife had a wonderful care package upon arrival and everything we needed from dishwasher pods, to shampoo, to kitchen spices, to K-cups, to wood for the fire was all provided. We had a wonderful experience. Beautiful home on an amazing lake.
