Escape to crystal clear Higgins Lake and enjoy your own private dock and sandy public beach! The lake bottom has hard compact sand and is knee to hip high - perfect for swimming with the family. Large white vinyl swim platform off the end of the 120ft dock has stairs and handrails to allow for easy lake access. Boat Mooring is available, and 2 Kayaks are provided for your enjoyment.
Updated, Lakefront home provides you with 2 bedrooms, 1.5 bathrooms and a Queen sleeper sofa. Open floor plan creates space to enjoy with your family and friends. Two window AC units are provided to keep the house cool on those hot summer days.
The outdoor patio and firepit is perfect for grilling dinner and enjoying refreshments after a long fun day in the sun. Enjoy free WIFI and a smart TV. Close to shopping, restaurants and forest dunes golf course is only 20 minutes away!

Scott was so helpful and communicated with us right away. We loved the cottage and the beach access was excellent. Higgins is a beautiful lake. A good time was had by all.

Great location, next to the boat launch. Had a place to moor the boat. Neighbor Bill was extremely helpful with alternative lakes to fish since the weather was cool/wet/windy and couldn't get out on Higgins Lake. Shout out to the Host Scott to allow me to bring my boat a day early due to weather. Scott was responsive and accommodating. Enjoyable stay.

Fantastic Property

Excellent location with everything we needed to enjoy our week at Higgins Lake. The boat mooring was great - we only needed to launch once and then had access to our boat whenever we were taking someone tubing or just wanted a quick ride around the lake. Thank you!

Beautiful spit

Our family really enjoyed the beach front home. We moored our boat and it was so convenient on a busy holiday. We enjoyed the fireoit and the outdoor soace as well. The house was beautiful and spacious and perfect tabke for games.

Family Vacation at Higgins Lake

We had a Great family vacation! The water is gorgeous! Our place was set back a little in the woods with a path to our own beach. There was a nice outdoor area with patio and fire pit that we enjoyed some dinners and s’mores. We were able to moor our boat easily. Scott responded quickly to all of our questions. We would definitely come back again!

Beautiful Lake

Nice house, location was good. It’s next to a public beach. Host was very quick to address issues. The second air conditioner didn’t work during our stay, thankfully it did cool down some. There were only 4 bath towels, a colander for draining pasta would be helpful and some hot pads to remove things from the oven. The outdoor furniture had to be hosed down before we could use it. Overall we had a great time with the grandkids!

Hi Martin, thanks for being a great renter. As we discussed on the phone, I was more than happy to drive up and fix the 2nd air conditioner, but you had mentioned no need because it had cooled down. Immediately upon your departure, we replaced the defective unit. We do have a colander and hot pads in the kitchen, but sometimes they are difficult to locate with all the other items we have available in the kitchen. We will address the quantity of towels. Our apologies, some renters accidentally bring home the towels on occasion. Hopefully your granddaughter already received her computer charger that I sent her after she left it behind! Thanks again for being a great renter!!

Beautiful Home, Awesome Property & Great Host!

If anything, the pictures don't do the house justice - they look good but it was even better in person. There are all the amenities you need - the dishwasher, washer & dryer, and grill are awesome and make for an extremely comfortable stay! The property is large and feels secluded even though you are next to the public boat launch and beach. The only drawback is the weekend vehicle, human, and boat traffic, but it can't overshadow the house, property & gorgeous lake, and the rest of the time is quiet and relaxing. Also - Scott is very attentive and responsive! Thanks for a great stay!

Best Higgins Lake Waterfront Home

This is the cleanest, best homey, Bohemian Beach Style Home, that did NOT disappoint!! Everything in kitchen to cook all our meals, all we brung with us was groceries. Private Beach, mooring buoy, and dock with seating. Firepit for smores, yard for for fun games Propane Grill for awesome cookouts. Property was surrounded with trees which was wonderful for privacy and watching wildlife. Had a rainy day, was just fine inside with all the games, dvd, wifi that was provided. Boat launch was easily accesed next to property. While having 2 bathrooms and laundry room was a bonus. Felt at home and enjoyed Higgins Lake, rated 6th MOST BEAUTIFUL LAKE in the WORLD. We was able to bring Our Tahoe Tritoon for fishing and Our Malibu wakesetter for surfing. Our Grandson and daughter loved swimmimg and playing in the safety of shallow waters and catching rock bass rite from the dock. We couldnt have asked for a Better vacation and as I had questions, the Host responded within minutes. We Greatly Appreciate the oppurtunity to Rent this property and will be visiting again this summer and annually from now on !! Thank you very much !!

We had such a great stay at this property. The owner was very kind, accommodating, and responsive to our questions. The property was clean and well appointed. The location was fun-you are literally right next to Kelly Beach. I have zero complaints! We would definitely rent again.
