A converted country barn is set in it's own English country courtyard garden.
The perfect weekend base to explore Metung and the surrounding lakes. Our converted country barn is set in it's own English country courtyard garden, away from the main house, so very private and peaceful.
The sounds of the frogs send you to sleep at night and you have a choice of starting your mornings with a locally produced breakfast basket containing our own fresh eggs, and local bread and honey, or a fresh coffee.
Perfect for couples, but there is also a fold out single bed.

We had a wonderful and relaxed time at Sarah's barn. A lovely breakfast with eggs and honey from the property and delicious home made jam, while we soaked in the garden and our dog sunbaked. She was very helpful in terms of telling us about local activities, we went on some great local walks and ate some delicious cake! (Ask Sarah about cake Friday). We needed a quiet break away from Melbourne and this was beautiful and perfect.

Lovely quiet location, the bed and linen were beautiful, the bathroom was very nice (toilet roll holder would be a plus) and air conditioning would add to the experience. Not sure the owner checked bread, which was mouldy but we enjoyed the surrounds and wonderful bird life and so did our two small dogs.

Thank you for your thoughtful review! We're so glad you enjoyed the peaceful location, beautiful linen, and the wonderful birdlife—it's always lovely to hear when our guests (and their furry friends) have a relaxing stay.
We appreciate your feedback regarding the toilet roll holder and air conditioning, and we’ll certainly take it into consideration for future improvements. We’re very sorry about the bread and can only assume that it was due to the heat as it was fresh from the Metung Bakery that morning. I'll start placing it in the fridge on warmer days.
Thank you again for staying with us, and we hope to welcome you back in the future!
Thank you

We stayed with our little family, 2 adults and a 3yro. Nice little spot away from town. We stayed in a little shack at the back of the property. You enter the property, and park in a little nook on the right. You walk about 30m down the grass and find the shack out the back. There was kindling and firewood provided but unfortunately due to weather, we could light the fire. It was warm and cosy. Sarah provided some fresh local eggs and ciabatta for brekky. It was a little tight for
