Private, sunny, secure fully fenced family and pet friendly back yard with decks on 2 sides and fire pit. Modern tiled bathroom with separate toilet and new wool carpet throughout. Still some cosmetic painting to finishbut totally comfortable as it is. Woodburner which heats whole house. Close to river walk and great place for bike trails. Arguably best outdoor living for Reefton accommodation

Reefton Get-away

Great base for adventures - we were here mainly to mountain bike the Pike 29 and Paparoa trails, but there's a bunch of stuff to keep you occupied in the area, plus great coffee, gin and second hand shops. Karen's place was a perfect base for a few days exploring...

My colleagues were in the area for work, the accommodation was great for what we needed. Though we found Reefton expensive considering it is not in a main centre.

accommodated our "walking group" well with 7 adults. Well-appointed with bedding, towels, and kitchen appliances. To make it perfect a working BBQ would be grand. Image when renovations are complete this will come. Close to town. Karen is a pleasure to deal with. Thank you for allowing us to share your house.

Traveling with teenagers and dogs

Not always the easiest group to travel with. But we scored a winner with this property. A very accommodating owner, bedrooms for each of the 2 kids, endless supply of wood for the fire to warm the dogs and teens. And a 1950s feel to add to the mystique of time. With an upgraded fabulous bath. Reefton is so good for dogs and kids. An amazing skatepark, bike trails, pub dinners and the pretty impressive surf beaches at Westport. We did it all. Definitely teturning, thank's for having us.
