This home is located in Kooringal, at the southern tip of beautiful Moreton Island and is moments walk to the beach, Campbells Point, Amity Banks and the world famous Gutter Bar.
The home features:
3 bedrooms consistsing of one king bed, 2 king singles, 1 queen bed. All bedrooms have ceiling fans so that you can sleep comfortably. There are an additional 2 king single daybeds in living area. Total of 8 persons sleeping in 6 beds.
Fully equiped kitchen with dishwasher and a large dual fridge/freezer.
Outdoor BBQ area
Outdoor bath and showers
Abundant herb and veggie garden for all to enjoy
Seperate toilet and indoor bathroom. (note there is only one toilet at the property)
Fire Pit and Indoor Fire for the cooler months (must bring your own firewood)
The property is off the grid and runs completely off solar power, tank water and has a septic waste system. We ask that guests be mindful of power and water usage.
THIS HOME CAN ONLY BE ACCESSED BY 4WD or PRIVATE BOAT

Island Vibes
We had an amazing time at Mary’s Island getaway. The house is perfect for a large family with two large lounge rooms, heated outdoor and indoor bath and showers.. tithe kids loved the fire place inside. Large built in BBQ a seriously well stocked kitchen.Great spot near the mangroves for easy crabbing and boating. We will be back thank you Mary

Old mates long weekend on Moreton
Great house, many things we loved, veggie garden, living spaces, outdoor shower, fire pit, etc etc. one toilet is what it is but hard with larger groups. Wasn’t clear that last 2 single beds were mattresses under the beds in brm2, we eventually found them. But overall great house, thanks Mary and Dan for slowing us to stay !

I am sorry your expectations were not met with the bedding arrangements. We have allowed for 8 people to sleep on the 6 beds provided (not including mattresses on the floor). It was not our intent to mislead you.
