No dryer but the deck had ample space for drying items. Driveway is steep but the view is worth it. It is a 5 minute walk to the off lead beach. We would stay again.

Property was nice and tidy and everything the ad said it was. Good Views. If anything maybe the back door needs a screen door but it wasnt an issue. Nice place to stay. We would stay their again.

The house was clean, and the shower was lovely and hot.The driveway was very steep, and would recommend not driving your car up, unless absolutely necessary.

The house is well situated to beach & hotel . The house is showing its age & needs attention. It would appear the photos are not recent . Matching glasses & crockery would help . There is no dryer or heater which is really needed during the cold months & rainy periods

THe house is very pleasent and is well set out with comfortable beds with good quality linen and towels. the kitchen although small is easy to use, appreciate the dishwasher. the highlight for us was the verander and the view. The very steep drive was a bit of a challenge to drive or to walk up and down. taller guide posts so you can see where the drive actually is when sterting from the top and steps and /or a handrail would make it safer for walking down.

Functional house but could do with a more modern refresh. No dryer so would not recommend for families with young kids with lots of washing. Great for dogs with enclosed backyard and deck. Easy walk to beach and the Stradbroke hotel. Overall a comfortable home that could do with a more modern touch-up internally.

Absolutely Filthy. We have never stayed in such a dirty, filthy holiday home.

We stayed at this same property approximately 4 years ago & had a really, nice relaxing time. This trip we were really shocked ! Every door handles, light switch, cupboard & fridge door & power point were greasy & filthy. It was even worse in the morning light. The windows were covered in greasy hand prints & dog slobber. And, the flysceens & windows sills haven't been cleaned in years. Its the most discusting home weve ever stayed in. We will not be back.

House of horrors

This property was absolutely disgusting and not cleaned on arrival. It was infested with mould. The agent gave us mould spray to clean with. An electrician also came because the house has electrical issues. It leaked through windows & between the walls when it rained. We left three days early because i became so sick from the mould & needed medical treatment. We asked for a partial refund and have heard nothing from the agent. They do not care.

Hi Justine, Thanks for your review although we do feel this is very harsh considering the circumstances. We take all feedback seriously and offered to send the cleaners back to the property to attend to anything that you felt needed extra attention. You requested we supply you with cleaning products instead. During your stay the island experienced extreme weather conditions with almost horizontal rain which houses in general are not built to deal with. The house under normal circumstances, has no leaks. You mentioned in your feedback that an electrician was sent, this was to replace a fluro bulb in the bathroom that started to flicker on the day of your arrival that the cleaners noticed. As far as we are aware, the house has no electrical issues. This is a very popular house that is thoroughly enjoyed by many families and is cleaned sometimes multiple times a week - We are sorry again that you felt it wasn't up to scratch and the discussed refund was processed swiftly after your booking ended. We just hope that this review doesn't put anyone off from booking this great house in the future.

The top sellers for this house are:View, affordability and location however the lack of wifi and optus reception was not a positive. It was great that the bathrooms have been upgraded and I would like to suggest an upgrade in the windows/doors to ensure security for guests Cocomo stay. Otherwise a nice place to stay. Thank you.

Great location

House had everything we needed great location to the beachs and 4wd track to eastern side short walk to beach hotel for dinner and drinks. Could use a couple of blinds on the veranda to block afternoon sun and another gate with a few steps to backyard off the end of the veranda. Still a great house for families and dog.
