Outdoor living is very much the focus of this home. The home comes with an outdoor dining set for 6 persons plus additional seating at the outdoor living room, rattan rocking chair, and the Smart TV, poolside, for outdoor entertainment. On stepping down to the private dock, you will find the Tiki Hut with seating for 4 persons plus additional seating on the dock area to enjoy the waterfront views Cape Coral is world famous for.

In keeping with the outdoor living focus of this home, the property has a heated in-pool spa and freeform pool as a wonderful backdrop to your stay. We do not charge extra for spa heat, which is included in our rates.

The property was clean and well maintained. The house was properly stocked with everything we needed and then some. We spent most of our time by the pool which was perfect. The tv outside was chef’s kiss. Absolutely loved our stay. Would definitely stay again.

Great Relaxing Vacation

House is amazing, the outside pool area is were we spent most of our time. Pool is so relaxing overlooking the Doc and the Tiki hut on the doc was our coffee and drinks hangout with great views.

2025 Vacation at Villa Evara

We just spent the month of March at Villa Evara. Had a great time in Cape Coral. The house was everything we expected. The highlight being the Tiki Hut on the dock. We could watch the manatees swim by! The hosts Neil and Keely were great to deal with. Would definitely rent again in the future.

Several things fell short. One of the beds had a broken box spring making it impossible for sleep. My daughter and SIL had to sleep on the couch for 2 nights until it was replaced. Had to lug old one to curb. Recliner on couch also broken. Next, dishwasher broken. When we reported to PM we were told it was working the day before check in. This could not have been true since there were dirty dishes in the cabinet. Had to hand wash dishes before and after we used them until repaired. Next was the pool/spa. The pool lights weren’t working and Noticed the pool and spa weren’t circulating water well. Again called PM and were told this was normal, then story changed to a phosphate treatment had been done prior to check in and that there was no filter cartridge in the filter bc the treatment may clog the filter. When asked if we were swimming in unfiltered water for days he changed his story and said there was a filter in there that must have clogged. That afternoon a new filter was installed and the water circulation was much better and the spa jets had pressure which was previously nonexistent. When confronted about all the issues we were having the PM responded with, I’m sure your life isn’t perfect, is it? To which I replied, no it is not, but when I spend money to get away from my non-perfect life, I’d expect things to work as they should. Overall the house was nice, the finishes were cheap and need to be upgraded. This house does show well but lacks higher quality standards.

Thank you for your review. We value constructive feedback. However, we feel additional context is important, as several statements are inconsistent with the circumstances of the stay. This property has consistently received excellent feedback, including 30 5-star reviews on another platform. While occasional maintenance issues can occur, this review history does not support the suggestion that the home is poorly maintained. The guests arrived the same day another repeat guest left.Those departing guest reported none of the issues mentioned. Once concerns were reported, we acted promptly. The broken box spring was replaced within 24 hours. The dishwasher and pool filtration concerns were also fixed within 24 hours. The recliner was not broken. It just needed plugging in to the outlet. The guest never reported the pool light issue during their stay. We cannot correct an issue we are not made aware of. We also disagree with the characterization of our communication. The review quotes one comment without the broader context. Our records of the text messages and communications provide a substantially different picture of our interactions. Finally, after checkout, the property had a strong marijuana odor, requiring extensive ventilation and additional preparation before the next guest arrived. This was disappointing behaviour. We welcome fair criticism, but believe reviews should accurately reflect both the circumstances and the efforts made to resolve legitimate concerns.
