The cabin was very private and convenient to restaurants and stores and parks. The cabin was stocked with everything you might want.Breakfast was outstanding.

The Hobbit is a great little place for a stay on Gabriolla Island. It’s clean, quaint and comfortable. It’s a great place to relax and unwind and the location is very convenient. Bed is very comfy! Nancy and Greg are great hosts. And the breakfasts are amazing. 10/10 would stay again.

We stayed at the hobbit house for our anniversary in July. We found the place to be cozy, clean and welcoming. The snack basket was a fun surprise! The hosts were so nice. They were accommodating and very respectful of our privacy. They provided a restaurant quality breakfast for us every morning, which was amazing! The cabin is located in a quiet wooded area with our own little patio area to relax. We loved sitting out there after a long day of hiking and exploring the island. We would absolutely stay here again, next time we’re on Gabriola

As with several times in the past, our stay at the Hobbit House was great. Nancy and Greg are really good hosts, and the setting is beautiful. The hosts provide some nice touches like plenty of bottled water and snacks. The cabin is comfortable and has kitchen well supplied with cooking gear. We really enjoy spending time on Gabriola, and the Hobbit House is a prefect home base from which to explore. Highly recommended!

The Hobbit house location - not far from the ferry and main shopping area, plus nearby access to the 707 trail network - was perfect for our 2-day biking trip to Gabriola. Nancy and Greg were wonderful hosts, friendly and welcoming, but very respectful of our privacy. They brought us absolutely delicious breakfasts which set us up well for our days of riding around. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend the Hobbit on Canopy Ridge to our friends & family, and look forward to staying there again. Thanks for having us!

We had a great stay on Gabriola. The hosts were super friendly, breakfast was great, and the location was only a couple minutes from the ferry and the wood fire restaurant.
