Excellent place

The place was well equipped, had everything we needed. Our grandson loved trying to catch frogs, our dog lived in the water. Beautiful area for anyone with dogs.

The cottage was cozy , clean and quiet. The setting was beautiful and peaceful. The owner was available to answer any questions we had. I would definitely stay there again.

Quick and easy

Had a fantastic stay here with my wife, son, his girlfriend, and our dog. The place was exactly as advertised and suited us perfectly. The pond was a huge hit especially with our golden retriever.

This was a perfectly relaxing spot for our family of five adults and 2 four-leggeds. The hosts were super-responsive and thought of just about everything! We all agreed that we're likely to return.

Great place to escape

The property is clean cozy, and provides everything you could need for a weekend away. Our pups loved it and had a blast running around and swimming all the time. The upstairs bedroom closer to the stairs tends to get a little hotter than the others, but it was manageable. Overall a great option. We recommend.

Beautiful private property with a pond and lost of forestry around. The house itself is clean and comfortable with a well-stocked kitchen. Lot's to see and do within 20 min driving distance.

Excellent place for relaxing a few days

This was probably the best place I have stayed in for a while. Very quiet and relaxing. There is a beautiful private pond that is swimmable, and there are two kayaks. It's an excellent place for a dog. I think my dog (a golden retriever) had never had so much fun in his life! Highly recommended. We'll definitely go back.

Beautiful Cozy Cottage

Tomas was a fantastic host, ensuring that communication was seamless and well-integrated throughout our stay. The property itself was exactly as advertised—beautiful, with an open-concept layout and stunning views of the grounds from both the back porch and the upper deck. Our dogs thoroughly enjoyed playing fetch across the expansive outdoor space. The fireplace added a warm and inviting ambiance, making the entire experience all the more comfortable and welcoming. We highly recommend staying at this beautiful Meaford getaway!

Quiet Retreat

We had the pleasure of staying in this relatively secluded home in the Meaford area. Our stay was enjoyable and we would love to return again at some point. There are all the comforts of home and its perfect to get away from the hussle and bustle as they say. We had a great time using the kayaks and life jackets were available. There are portable A/C in every room if needed and heating for chilliar nights. The hosts were easy to contact and checked in to make sure we had our needs met. I would definetly reccomend this home especially if you are a nature lover and appreciate solitude.

It was a cozy and comfortable place. Wonderful and easy communication with Tomas. The kayaks were a hit with the kids. We were asked to bring our own water due to the well water but there were more than enough water bottles present for our use, which was thoughtful.

We stayed at the cottage Thursday through Sunday in mid February. It was beautiful, lots of snow, and just gorgeous winter wonderland. The cottage was very clean, had a great fireplace and really good space. It had a great feel to it with all of the woodwork everywhere, and was the perfect place to relax with family. We brought our dogs- they loved it, and are asking to go back in the summer to enjoy it again. ;) Great space, great host, and we will definitely come back in the future.
