Cozy cabin on Chippewa Flowage

We enjoyed our stay very much. The cabin was well stocked, very clean and communication with the host was excellent. Check in and out was easy. Located right on the flowage we were able to use the dock for kayaking and SUP. The provided pictures match the cabin. If we are in the area again we would definitely book again.

First trip to Chippewa Flowage

Very nice 2-bedroom cabin! Accommodations were very nice and having a dock and fish-cleaning station worked well for our fishing boat and catch. Hosts were very nice.

Great place on the Chippewa Flowage

We enjoyed our stay. The cabin was as expected - clean and well furnished. The kitchen was all we needed (they have a pizza oven which the kids liked). The recently purchased two fishing kayaks which got a lot of use around the islands just up river from the dock. It's a large lake area and took us a few days to figure out the fishing - but we caught enough for two meals and enjoyed our time. Great firepit and outdoor space.

Overall good

Overall, it was a clean nice place. My main downfall was the washer and dryer could not be used, except to wash the property towels for our re-use. We could not wash our own clothes there due to the yellow water. It still was a convenience to at least be able to re-wash the property towels for continued usage. It was a peaceful place. There was some traffic, but that traffic wasn’t continuous and didn’t bother us much at all. Price seemed a bit high after extra costs; however, as long as we get our cleaning fee/deposit back, it’s fair. There was plenty of space and we appreciate we were able to bring our small Pomeranian. Overall, we’re satisfied and would stay there again. Thank you. We appreciate the conveniences and great communication.

Great getaway

Property was clean with a well appointed kitchen. Check in was easy. Cellular service is not the best in the area but Wi-Fi at the cabin was enough for us. Hosts were responsive to questions and helpful.

Disconnect in the Northwoods

Jen was a great host. The property was even nicer in person. It is right on the main highway, so expect a little traffic, but don’t let that stop you. The house was very clean and had several amenities such as laundry, kayaks, Wi-Fi, canoe, and fire pit. One of the owners even stopped by to make sure we had enough fire wood. It’s located minutes from some great restaurants as well. Highly recommend.

Winter getaway

Excellent location and easy to get to from Hayward. Clean property and lots of space in the living room and kitchen area for the whole group to hang out in at the same time. The host was proactive and communicated well about things to make our stay even better!

Great Getaway on the Flowage

This cabin was the perfect location for our long weekend getaway. It's a short trip up the river to the Chippewa Flowage, but we actually caught most of our fish right off the dock. The cabin is very clean, very comfortable. There are lots of lodges, restaurants and bait shops nearby. You can walk right across the street for a drink and dinner if you don't want to cook. The cabin sits very close to the highway which initially caught us a bit off guard, but it didn't end up being an issue for us. Jen was great. She was extremely responsive and made sure we had everything we needed for a great trip!

We really enjoyed our time at Jens property. Everything was nice from the games to firepit to canoe. Just wish there would have been bike or walking trails closer. Loved the way rooms were layed out.

Great family getaway

We loved staying at the lodge! The place was clean and everything was as advertised. The owner, Jennifer, was quick to respond to all questions and very helpful! We have stayed in a lot of VRBO homes and this was one of the best experiences we have had! Will definitely stay here again! Thsnk you for being a great host Jennifer!
