Come to Sylvan Lake and get away from it all at Bobcaygeon Cottage. One block away from your own little strip of sandy beach or less than a 10 minute walk to restaurants downtown and the Sylvan Lake Beach Boardwalk. Lots of space for the whole family with a Firepit and Gazebo and lots of space for parking in the front yard and then a large fenced backyard with another firepit. You can sip on your morning coffee and see the Lake from your front porch. Leave it all behind and come to Bobcaygeon.

Perfect for us 11 ( 6 adults, 5 kids) , easy to reach lake beach. All attractions reachable by foot. Clean house and kitchen. Wonderful time.

Perfect for Us!

We loved the unique layout, 2 kitchens were awesome, and the beds were great. Back yard is amazing. And it had everything we needed. Location was ideal. We even managed to squeeze in all our vehicles to park. Host was great. We will be back!! Thank you sooooo much.

Amazing Stay!

We had an amazing time at the cottage. The place is beautiful with an amazing backyard for games, a fire, or just relaxing in the sun! The place was fully stocked with everything we needed and even some extra treats! Even on a rainy weekend this place still gave us lots to do, and an amazing patio to watch the storms! Communication was excellent. I recommend this place to anyone looking for a lovely getaway to the lake.

We had an amazing stay at this property! We were a group of three families with four teens, and there was more than enough space for everyone to relax and enjoy. The two full kitchens made it so easy to cook big family meals together, which was a huge bonus. The backyard was a perfect hangout spot — plenty of room for yard games, and the gazebo kept us dry and cozy when the rain rolled in. Sylvan Lake itself is like something out of a storybook — beautiful, charming, and full of things to do. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay and make memories. Highly recommend!

This was the second summer that we enjoyed a wonderful family vacation in this spacious cottage. It has everything we needed and more. The only thing we would ask is that the blow up kayaks be repaired for full use. Everyone loves kayaking! Also, remember to bring your own hair dyer if you need one.The location is a short walk to the beach. We hope to return again next summer. I highly recommend this cottage for a family get together!

Wow! What an awesome place to stay with a bunch of family! Great kitchen, has all utensils, pots, pans etc. and counter space! Gotta love that. Living room has lots of seating, large TV and PlayStation. Lots of beds, and basement is another whole suite. It was great having 2 full fridges! View of the lake and decks are awesome! Then there is the backyard! Amazing “grass”, gazebo with plenty of seating and fire pit. There is also a fire pit in the front yard. Excellent communication with Jay, thanks for sharing Bobcaygeon cottage with us!

Amazing! Simply Amazing! We were unlucky with the weather during our stay, it rained the whole time, however our trip was still fantastic and Jay’s place was a large part of that. Enough room for people to spread out do games or movies on different floors. The house was well stocked with essentials, great games and everything you could need and might have forgotten at home. The outside back yard also had a lovely gazebo which make outside time possible and really fun on a rainy weekend.Looking forward to visiting Jays VRBO again. The cottage location is perfect!! Close to the beach and playground.Jay was very responsive, kind and enthusiastic about the lovely property.100% recommend; rain or shine you will have a great stay

This was one of the best rentals we have stayed in in a long time. Right from the beginning, the communication was absolutely amazing. We needed to make an adjustment to our rental dates and it was taken care of quicker than we could even think of Location, location location was number one reason we picked this, but honestly, the rental was absolutely perfectIt had everything we needed. I could not believe it. Even firewood and condiments For our bbq. WowSuper spacious and the backyard is just perfect if you wanna hang out for the afternoon or nightThank you for having usWe have already spread the word with our extended family and friends that if needed in the future def stay here. Our son lives only 5 min walk away so it was perfect for our wedding weekendThanks again
