Welcoming host with great communications. The chalet was gorgeous. Very comfortable, cozy, lovely design and decorations and so many little extras to make it a great stay. There was plenty of room for the four of us and comfy spaces to hang out indoors and out. And the kitchen had all the dishes and cookware we needed for a Christmas dinner. We had a perfect time there and will definitely go back.

The cabin was perfect, comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. The kids loved the games inside for winding down in the evening. The fishing in the lake was awesome. The kids caught bluegill almost every cast. We even caught a few bass and crappie. Great communication from the owner. We highly recommend!

Cozy getaway

Everything in this chalet was nice and comfy - the beds, couch, even down to the rugs. The lake was really small, but it was perfect for beginner kayaking. It was an excellent getaway surrounded by nature!

Our family of six loved our stay at the Lakefront Innsbrook Chalet!Sarah was a fantastic hostess and was great at communicating from booking to goodbye. The chalet is tucked in the back of Innsbrook which provided a welcoming and quiet escape. The lake provided great fishing and a chance for the kids to get out on the water using the variety of water toys available on site. We loved the fire pit, used the grill nightly and appreciated that the drive to the pool/rec courts was quick and easy and gave us a chance to explore. Access and proximity to the back resort gate made access to the chalet so easy and was a welcomed surprise!Sarah’s chalet will be on our short list of places to stay at Innsbrook and is well worth checking out!

Great birthday get away!

We all had such a fantastic time. Sarah was a wonderful host and was very easy to contact. She went above and beyond answering any questions we had in a timely manner and was very flexible with our schedule. It was a beautiful place to relax with family celebrating my mom’s birthday. The kitchen table is great for playing games! We had everything we needed and would highly recommend it!

The Happy Chalet Has It All

This expanded A frame within Innsbrook has it all. Clean, updated, roomy, and a lovely pond just steps from the deck. Everything you would want for a vacation or a week away from the stress of work. The owners were easy to work with, and Innsbrook is a special place. You can’t go wrong with the Happy Chalet.

Great property!

We had such a nice stay at this property. The cabin was clean and decorated so cute. We stayed over Christmas and the host even had a beautifully decorated Christmas tree to set our mood for the week. It was such a nice surprise to walk into. So many special touches. The bathrooms were stocked with hygiene items such as toothbrushes, hand cream disposable razors and even a fully stocked first aid kit which we actually needed. The towels and bedding were top notch. There was a fire pit with Edison bulbs around it making the outside so cozy. Our host was absolutely wonderful checking in on us several times. We would definitely stay at this property again!

Nice place, but was it worth it?

We went here for a friend’s bachelorette party for a “Girls gone mild” weekend. The house itself is very nice. There were enough beds, it was clean, and the property is beautiful. They just got a hot tub and although we didn’t use it, this was a bonus. There are no curtains to be found in this building. So if you need to sleep in darkness, bring a blindfold. I would not recommend swimming in the pond outside, looks very very stagnant.The reason I’m giving 3 stars is because the property owner did not reach out with check in details until I inquired about them 2 hours AFTER check in time. She was not prompt in her response nor was there any “sorry I’m late, sorry I forgot” nothing. We had people waiting to get checked into the house. Plus the check out time was 10 am which seemed early. Wouldn’t book this again.

From the owner: Hi Andrea, we were happy you had enough space for your group, the property was clean, and you enjoyed the scenery. We were very sorry to hear you had issues and to see that we did not meet your expectations. We wanted to address your comments:   - All of the check-in instructions are provided to each guest after booking, well before they arrive at the property. Perhaps you didn't see the email that was sent to you.  - The community requires all adults to be registered with security before entering. This is stated in the check-in instructions before arrival. When someone is not on the list prior to arrival, they will not be allowed to enter, which is why we reached out to you prior so you could avoid issues at the gate. Innsbrook is a highly secure community, and we want to make sure the safety of our guests is a top priority.  In addition, there are liability reasons, so they can account for each person who is registered.  They are very strict on this policy, as you experienced.  - We find that most of our guests enjoy the large wall of windows that bring in natural light and show the beauty of nature.  We took your feedback into account and are now providing eye masks for our guests if they choose to use them.   - Regarding your comment about the lake water, this is out of our control. It rains, which can bring mud from the bottom of the lake, and it will cause the water to look muddy. The lake is safe, and lots of people have used it and have enjoyed it.  We do all we can to make the best possible stay, and we look forward to this property hosting many satisfied guests.

Excellent stay

We booked this cabin for a long weekend getaway with my family (husband and two kids) and my parents. My parents had not visited Innsbrook before, and this place was a great stay for their first time. They were able to have the downstairs room and bathroom while we four fit comfortably upstairs.Everything we needed was available, easy to find, and clean. When we had a slight hiccup with running out of a kitchen supply, Sarah took care of it immediately. We especially enjoyed the hot tub and deck space.There are a few things renters new to Innsbrook might need to know. One is that the lakes in Innsbrook range in size from pond-like to quite large. The one on this property is small, which only matters if you plan to spend a lot of time on the water. However, there are larger lakes with beaches nearby. The other is that this property is on a far edge of Innsbrook. It is only noteworthy if they envision biking or walking to the pools, coffee shop, or other amenities. With the hills and distance, it’s quite a workout.We will definitely keep this property on our short list. Thank you, Sarah, for being such a fantastic, responsive host!

My daughter and I just got home from our vacation. First impressions of the house when we got there, perfection. First impressions of the inside, perfection. Everything is the exact same as the pictures but better. Sarah text us the morning of our trip to wish us safe travels. She text us when we got there to make sure everything was okay and she even text me the morning we left to tell me to have a safe drive home. There wasn't anything that we needed that wasn't provided. When I first booked the listing they didn't have the hot tub. Let me tell you what an extra bonus! To be in the middle of the woods in a hot tub surrounded by nature was exactly what we needed. We saw so much wildlife. We swam in the rain at the beach. We hiked and caught crawfish. We used the kayaks that Sarah provided and paddled around the private lake. It was quiet, spotless, relaxing and most importantly we felt extremely safe. We will be back and we will definitely be staying with Sarah again. Sidenote. Someone had previously left a review this year talking about how bright the house was and lack of window coverings. Sarah showed up and showed out. It's so dark in that master bedroom with the new blinds she installed you feel like you're sleeping in a cave. She definitely has taken everything in to consideration.
