Casa SIMONETTA er en rummelig totalrenoveret lejlighed beliggende i et antik palads i centrum af Lucca, med vægge og i en stille gade meget tæt på torvet Piazza San Michele og gaden Via Fillungo.
Lejligheden ligger lige midt i alt, men beliggende i en dejlig sidegade og der er ingen barer eller butikker ved siden af ​​lejligheden, der gør atmosfæren meget fredelig og afslappende. A gem in the heart of the old city

We could not have asked for a nicer place to stay for 7 days. We had all the space we needed for 2 couples and the location inside the city walls was just superb. Lots of lovely restaurants in the city. Lucca is perfect for exploring a large part of Tuscany which is what we wanted

A fantastic Apartment

A fantastic host and an absolutely beautiful apartment. Very spacious with high ceilings and beautiful furnishings, we felt like we were living the life of a local. Incredibly helpful recommendations with some wonderful restaurants - easily the best food in Italy. We had a fabulous experience and hope to be back soon.

An absolutely beautiful apartment

A fantastic host and an absolutely beautiful apartment. Very spacious with high ceilings and beautiful furnishings, we felt like we were living the life of a local. Amazing Stay

Beautiful apartment which felt both grand and homely at the same time. Lucca is a city with so much history so staying in a beautiful period apartment added to the experience. It was lovely being able to walk out the front door and finding cafes, restaurants, churches etc. within walking distance. Would definitely recommend staying both in Lucca itself and in Sidrak's apartment.

Lovely apartment! Bonus being on ground floor. Near to all amenities- cafes shops and restaurants. Approximately 15 min walk to train station. Full kitchen but we ate out so only used for drinks. Would definitely stay again if we return to Lucca.

Lovely home with History

Lucca is a beautiful city. Sonia was very welcoming. Our apartment was charming and close to everything. cappuccinos and croissants just around the corner. Lovely restaurants, Boheme, Leo. Chocolate stores with treats. Small grocery stores and lovely cheeses and wines to buy. A little pad for the bed would be nice, it was very firm. This is a quieter time to come with less crowds. Will be back again.

A perfect HOUSE!

We truly enjoyed our stay with Soni. She is an excellent hosts and we spent quite a bit of time with her. She made us feel like "familia". The apartment is definitely an high end property and it was very clean, attractive and comfortable. We worked in Sonia's vineyard outside of Lucca for 2 days to help with the grape harvest and enjoyed that. Mrs Cristina (Sonia's emplyee) was a big help as she drove us to the entrance to the AutoStradde (highway) the day before we left to make sure we could find our way to the airport in Pisa. Sonia is very prompt and helpful and is a pleasure to work with. We would strongly recommend Casa Simonetta as a vacation destination.

Nice comfortable apartment in good location.

Nice comfortable apartment in good location. A little surprised to have to pay for electricity In addition to cost of apartment which as far as I was was not advised at time of booking. Only aware of this charge two weeks prior to arrival. Only a small criticism on the bedding and towels provided. Nothing matched and towels appeared old and could do with replacing. Otherwise a nice traditional apartment.

Beautiful property, so-so location

Overall, I wouldn't dissuade anyone from staying here, but there is a caveat. We thought that the property was beautiful and comfortable. However, it is on a busy and noisy street which absolutely impacted our rest. However, it is in a very walkable location and it is on the ground floor (and after 10 other stays on floors as high as the 4th, having no stairs was greatly appreciated). It also didn't have some of the other provisions that our other properties provided (like coffee, papertowels, napkins) but obviously you can get those things from a local store. So just depends on what is most important to you.

You will be in good hands!

What a sweet and delightful traditional Lucca apartment. Located on a uniquely characteristic street close to the botanical gardens, the apartment is quiet, and very comfortable. The traditional kitchen is well equipped and the bathrooms are modern and clean. In fact, the whole apartment is extremely clean and comfortable with every need catered for. We enjoyed easy access to the wall for daily walks and bike rides and there are plenty of nearby stores for food, drinks and other necessities. Sonia presented an abundance of information about Lucca, where to eat, drink and buy food and her team were extremely helpful in organizing anything from tours to language lessons. You will be in good hands if staying in one of Sonia's apartments. We visited Lucca 2 years ago for the first time and stayed in one of her properties too. She’s amazing.

Great location in a large, comfortable apartment

My husband, sister, brother in law, and I spent 2 weeks in this lovely apartment. It was very conveniently located- within easy walking distance to the supermarket, great restaurants, and the train station. And, being ground level, we didn't have to haul bags up the stairs! The weather was unusually cold and rainy, and in accordance with town ordinances, the heat was off for the season. When we contacted Mrs. Sonia to tell her that we were very chilly, she responded within minutes to let us know how to turn on the thermostats. The only negative was that we could never get the dryer to work. Maybe post instructions in other languages? Overall, an awesome vacation!

Great place to stay with family

The apartment was located in a convenient area and was very spacious. We liked the large kitchen and table. It was nice to have laundry facilities and three bathrooms. The decor in the apartment was very charming. It would be nice to have some more basic supplies such as dish soap, extra toilet paper, salt and pepper, olive oil, etc. it’s a shame to have to buy large quantities of these items for only a few days. We were not able to use the hairdryer in the bathroom, as the plug wasn’t compatible. We had left a message about this, but it wasn’t returned. We’re very happy with the service of the rental company, but feel that the owners of the apartment may have placed limitations on upgrades, supplies, etc. we stayed at Casa Lucky last year and that property was a true luxury experience. Casa Simonetta could benefit from some refurbishments, and the mattress in the primary bedroom was not very comfortable.

Fantastic apartment in the centre of Lucca

The apartment was excellent.. The kitchen was well equipped and allowed us to cook meals for our family and baby grandson who had just commenced solids. The huge living area was lovely to sit on and relax whilst drinking coffeea wine. We had almost every meal in the apartment. It was also great for the children to play on. The antique palace had a courtyard which was also good to allow our children to play. The apartment was close to shops and the free parking was right behind the apartment. It also has bikes, very rare! It was close to the train which allowed us to go into Rome and sight-see. There are plenty of resturants around for dining and even exciting groceries. Overall the apartment was neat , clean and well presented. Sonia was a fantastic host and made extra efforts to accommodate my family. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Lucca and will do it again next time we travel to Italy (2 years). Thank you!

Great Location and Lots of Room

The location of the apartment is ideal. Very close to san Michele square and via fillungo and the public transportation, but it's on the "residential" side of the town: an elegant and quiet street. So you feel a little more like a "local". The Duomo and train station are both about 5/10 minutes walkless. The apartment itself is very nice and roomy. We're a family of 4 and everyone was comfortable. Everything was clean and ready for us on arrival. Mrs Sonia checked us in and spent plenty of time showing us her recos on a map - even providing us with a list of favorite restaurants of all types. She also takes the time to show every nook and cranny of the apartment so you know how to use everything. The beds are new and comfortable, the apartment is fresh, well decorated and maintained. Wi-fi connection for free and elevator. Everything worked smoothly. We recommend this apartment. Liz

Fantastic Lucca Apartment Rental!

This is a wonderful place to stay in Lucca if you are there for a weekmore (and it is certainly a city worth spending time in). being on the ground floor it was perfect for my 87 years old mum. The flat itself has everything you could want, the bathrooms have good showers and a bathtub. It also has a washing machine and clothes dryer. The sitting room is very comfortable, with quality couches, and those amazing interiors. There is useful reading material in English about Lucca. And importantly, the beds, large and in separate bedrooms with good cupboard space is also very comfortable. The highlight for us was the space. There is a high quality grocery/delicatessen/wine shop practically next door (to the right from the front door) selling the best of Tuscan produce, and a very large supermarket tucked away downstairs in an arcade to the left just a minute's walk away. We tried a variety of local restaurants, and preferred the unpretentious osteria which offer limited menus of good home style Tuscan cooking and decent house wine for very reasonable prices. Lucca is a small city, and all its major attractions are within an easy stroll of the apartment. It also makes a good base to explore the Tuscan countrysidefor a day trip to Florence. Not having a car we booked a day trip with local guide, Mrs Isa, to visit some wineries on the hills to try the famous Lucca wines. This was a great day out with a very engaging and knowledgeable guide. Sonia was a very gentle and honest host. We highly recommend a stay in this Lucca flat.

Lovely apartment

This is a lovely, historic apartment in a great location in the walled city. The apartment looks exactly as it does in the pictures and is a lovely base for a stay in Lucca. The location is also great if you are intending to explore the surrounding area as it is less than 10 minutes walk from the train station .

I cannot say enough good things about this apartment and about our hosts. Unbelievably responsive, the apartment is stunning and my only regret is that we couldn’t stay longer. The apartment is beautiful with 20+foot ceilings in a lovely part of Lucca inside the walls and walking distance to everything. The only thing missing was a corkscrew- but I bought one and left it there. Now it is perfect

Elegant, Spacious Living in Lucca

Two bedrooms with ensuite baths, huge living room with comfy sofas and a real kitchen with good appliances, all on lovely via San Giorgio, with uncomplicated access to trains, buses, and Porta Santa Maria for car drop-off. We lost wifi once and Chiara arrived within 15 minutes to solve it. And it's dangerously near the Giusti bakery on via Santa Lucia, where they make the best focaccia and cantuccini.
