Perfect downtown stay!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This vacation rental in downtown Durango was absolutely perfect. We could walk to great restaurants and shops and we were especially looking forward to being close to the historic train station & museum. Fun to be able to hear the train throughout the day. Our hosts were helpful and kind and this rental had all the amenities we needed to feel at home away from home. Our only complaint was the noise. The condo complex sits above the Animas City Theater and two of the three nights there was unfortunately loud, vibrating bass until midnight. I think this was a unique weekend for loud concert music, however, we saw there was not another theater event for weeks on the calendar. Would still stay again, we’d just check the theater calendar!

Thank you so much for the wonderful and detailed review! We’re thrilled to hear that you loved the downtown location, enjoyed being within walking distance of the restaurants and shops, and especially appreciated the proximity to the historic train station. We’re also glad the home had everything you needed and that our team was helpful throughout your stay. We’re sorry the concert noise from the theater affected your stay. We understand how disruptive the bass could have been, especially in the evenings. We truly appreciate your understanding that this appeared to be an unusually loud weekend, and your suggestion to check the theater’s event calendar is helpful for future guests. Thank you again for staying with us. We’re so happy to hear you would still choose to stay with us again, and we’d love to welcome you back to Durango!

The property is at a great location, walking distance to the prime area of Durango downtown. It's right across the train station. The unit has all amenities, clean. It doesn't have any view, but that wasn't a deal breaker for us. It had a dedicated parking space, which was great. The property management team was very quick to respond to all our questions and concerns. We requested for an early check-in which they accommodated. We had also requested a late checkout, which while they couldn't exactly provide, but they were willing to meet us halfway. Sure candidate for future visits to Durango.

Location is great. Everything was walkable. We loved the French bakery and the bike rental place. The team was super responsive and helpful.Only minor complaints - there weren’t enough pillows for everyone, no Kleenex, and not enough TP, so we had to purchase more items for our stay than usual, but not a big deal.

Sarah, Thank you for your recent review! We are delighted to hear that you found the location to be ideal and walkable to the Jean Pierre French Bakery and bike rental shop downtown! We appreciate you mentioning that VRC as a property manager was responsive to your requests and questions! Thank you for your feedback regarding the kleenex, pillows, and toilet paper! We certainly aim to provide enough supplies for the number of guests on the reservation to have a starter pack of supplies but I can understand that needed amount varies for everybody. We look forward to the opportunity to host you in the future for another memorable stay. Kind regards, -Holly

Just was very welcoming and responsive to questions. Great location and dedicated, secure, indoor parking that fit my F250 (barely!). Would recommend some more cooking utensils such as a nylon spatula and spoons. A Keurig would be a plus as well.
