This home has over 40 reviews and maintains an excellent rating of 9.5. A significant portion of our guests are returning visitors, which we believe speaks to the quality and consistency of their experience. Not a single previous guest has described the property as a "tear down" or questioned the quality of construction. That said, we take all guest concerns seriously and have scheduled a thorough inspection to address the items you mentioned. I personally communicated with you during your stay and you never mentioned any of the issues noted in your review other than the light bulbs not being consistent, a strand of hair that was found in the bathroom/bedroom, and a spot on a night stand. I offered to send the housekeeper immediately to address these issues and you declined my offer. We’re committed to maintaining high standards and ensuring a positive experience for every guest. While we understand not every property is a perfect fit for every traveler, we stand by the quality of this home and the efforts of our team and owners to provide a welcoming and well-maintained space.

Thank you for your review and glad that you enjoyed your stay at our Deer Trail property. We have to agree that the views do "take your breath away". It's one of the things that make for a truly special property. It's so easy to sit back and relax on the deck staring into the spectacular La Plata Mountains. We like to keep our properties in tip-top shape and already have someone set to look at the deck boards you mentioned. Sorry that your children didn't enjoy the bunk bed room and I have passed along this review to the home owner as well. Hope you have a lot of fond memories of your trip to Durango.
