Stor værdi for familie på 4, to par eller endda to singler, der ønsker deres eget soveværelse. Smukt interiør. Havudsigt i en tropisk haveindstilling fra Ka'anapali's North Course på tværs af gaden fra North Ka'anapali Beach. 2 soveværelser, 2 badeværelser, begge soveværelser har komfortable king-size senge. Denne lejlighed i stueetagen har et par trin ned ad indgangen.

Ankomst 8/19 - 24, 2019: Denne lejlighed er meget bekvemt placeret - tæt på stranden, spisesteder og købmandsforretninger. Lejligheden er rummelig og meget ren og var perfekt til 2 par - konge senge i begge soveværelser og store badeværelser i begge. Der er et klimaanlæg i bare et af soveværelserne (i tilfælde af at det er en faktor). Sørg for at hente basale dagligvarer, hvis du ønsker at lave mad. Udsigten fra lanai og soveværelse er vidunderlig. Vi så nogle dejlige solnedgange fra Lanai. Mindy var yderst hjælpsom med henstillinger til området og var meget imødekommende. Mahalo til et dejligt ophold! ~ Radhika S.

Ankomst: 25. - 31. juli 2019: Vi havde det mest vidunderlige ophold. Absolut “elsket” Maui & apt. Vi efterlod masser af ting til ejerne: papirhåndklæder, skraldepose, toiletpapir og nogle boogie boards til fremtidige gæster. Vi overkøbte en Costco. ~ Terri og Guy T. fra New York

Ankomst: 28. juli 2018 Ting skriver: "Vi havde familie på 4, og vi var tilfredse med lejligheden. Det var rent og pænt dekoreret. Fantastisk beliggenhed, delvis havudsigt fra master-værelse og gårdhave, 5 min. Kørsel til Whaler Village og Safe Way-købmand. De havde smør i køleskabet, men vi måtte selv få salt og peber. Samlet set tilfreds og vil anbefale til andre. Tak! Vi nød vores ophold på lejligheden. "

Quite complex with beautiful Maui sunsets from the lanai.

We stayed in this condo complex several years ago so we were familiar with the condo layout and grounds. Hosts were great to work with. Condo was clean and very well stocked with basic necessities. Nice location. Would not hesitate to book this property again.

Property was not as nice as it appeared on online.Also, some of the functions of the property were not working. For instance the master bedroom blinds were broken and the bathroom sinks were not draining well.The kitchen note was fully stocked, and the location was good

Large kitchen stocked with everything needed to cook, wine glasses, etc. Wifi was slow(2M/sec) but both Verizon and T-Mobile have excellent coverage and the hotspots worked great. 5 min drive to Lahaina and/or Whaler's Cove at Kaanapali that has everything.

Beautiful and quiet

Spectacular scenery, a quiet complex amidst many floral trees and bushes, and many beautiful birds. Within a 20 minute walk down to a beautiful beach, but be prepared to walk 25 minutes back up. Good exercise. The unit was a spacious, and well maintained. However, the floor was not clean. Removed our shoes always, but our feet or socks did not stay clean walking around.

Family reunion

The home has separate bedrooms and baths which were very convenient for the privacy of different family members. The kitchen was very spacious. Many people could be cooking and visiting at the same time. The two ovens and barbecue allowed for large meals. Since there was no street parking it was nice that the driveway had room for 6 cars at a time. The pool was large enough for good games such as Marco Polo with 8+ children and adults. The views of the ocean from both levels and the landscaping added to the overall enjoyment of our stay. Thank you for letting us rent this home which could be called a Villa!

decent for the price

The place was pretty much as described, a very nice lanai with a great view of the ocean, we even spotted some whales! Just a few negatives, a fan blade was broken in the master bedroom rendering it unusable. The owners said they would fix it during our stay, but didn't feel like dealing with that. Also, upon our entry to the place, we found hair on the shower wall that definitely wasn't ours. The kitchen could've been stocked a bit better with cooking essentials. All in all, a great little place!

In this era of global warming the bar must be raised to obtain a 5 star rating. VRBO needs to be more up front in requiring owners to include the type of climate controls the rental unit contains. Rentals not capable of maintaining a 70 F temp should have that noted upfront in the property description. Overall the unit was clean and well equipped. Back bedroom had a window ac unit, and it was much needed. Afternoon sun heated the other bedroom and the living room/kitchen. Noise levels from occupied neighboring units similar to hotels. Kitchen well equipped, bathrooms and showers clean, beds and furniture comfortable. All appliances worked well.

The upstairs unit was sold and is now a vacation rental so during our month we had 5 different families upstairs and 4 out of 5 were not the lightest on their feet, I can tolerate the noise upstairs and even no A/C but comfort and mobility are to important to risk again on that bed! I contacted Chasing Rainbows and was told basically I’m the only one who complained about this sagging old mattress so the owners would not respond to my request. So the ONLY thing we do the month is beachwalk for my heart health I had to do crippled well as my husband and he is a fit strong man. So it looks like 52 and I will have to part ways.. I have enjoyed stays there so it is bitter sweet. Anne Dade

Very uncomfortably hot

The place is nice and in a good location, however it was incredibly hot inside during the day. The guest room had an air conditioner, so that room was fine. The master bedroom does not have an air conditioner, so it was too hot to stay in. I slept on the couch every night with 3 fans and every door open. The master bedroom never cooled down. I shut the blinds to block the sun and opened the windows at night, but it was still in the 80s in there. My girlfriend decided not to come, because the place was too hot. She literally canceled a Maui trip. From about 1 pm until about 7 pm, the place is too hot inside to sit comfortably. The lanai faces the afternoon sun, so that can't be utilized until sunset. I would have left, but I figured that I wouldn't have received a refund and I didn't want to lose about $1800. The solution is easy...place a window air conditioner in the master bedroom. BTW, after hundreds of hotel and VRBO stays, I've never made a comment.

Great location, fabulous view

This condo is located on the west side of Maui, in the Kaanapali area, close to great beaches. It is spacious and well outfitted for your own food prep and space. The only missing item was oven mitts! - getting the Thanksgiving turkey roaster out of the oven resulted in a bad burn. We contacted the rental management company well before needing them, but none were brought!!! The view of the ocean from the lanai & master bedroom is amazing. Wonderful way to start the day with a cup of coffee. The unit floor was filthy when we arrived, so we called the agency and they sent the cleaner to redo it - much appreciated but an inconvenience. The oven was also found not cleaned - the oven cleaner had not been wiped off so when using it for the first time, a strong chemical smell was evident. We had to turn it off, let the oven cool, clean it and then start cooking a couple hours late. Another inconvenience. The management company sent a cleaner the next day to clean the oven: did not inform us anyone was coming in!!!! We found the oven racks were changed around when we got back. We did not appreciate someone coming into our suite without warning. These issues are not owner related - it’s a lovely place and is nicely furnished. The boogie boards and beach chairs need replacing though - well past their best before date.And Lastly, the unit is located on the ground level with another Condo above. You hear every step the people above take! It’s an older building and not sound proof.

Nice Location in the West Side

Overall, we enjoyed our stay at Plantation #52. The property management was responsive, however, they are closed on weekends so if you have any issues with the unit, you'll need to wait until the weekdays to have them resolved. The location was good if you plan to stay in the west side most of the time, otherwise, you'll find yourself driving a lot. We found ourselves having to drive North (Kahului and Wailuku) quite often because of hiking, places to eat, etc. There were a few issues such as incorrect wifi password that was provided and the washer not functioning but those were resolved quickly. In terms of the wifi password, I called the office but they did not have the password and so we checked the modem to get the password and got the wifi working. In terms of the washer not working, they offered to pick-up our clothes and wash them for us but we declined. However, they sent their maintenance guy over in the morning and he was able to fixed the washer. Last note, the floors were a bit dirty but there were swiffer wet wipes in the kitchen so I used those to clean the floors. The room with the view could use a new mattress because it sunk in the middle so it wasn't the most comfortable mattress to sleep on. It also definitely needed an AC in that room because it gets the most sun in that room which made it extremely warm/hot.

The ceiling lights flashed and maintenance was unable to repair so we never had good lighting at night. The toaster was broken, the screen on the microwave was damaged so it was difficult to use. The batteries in the remote controls and the clock were dead. But beds were very comfy. View was beautiful esp from the master bedroom. Big bathrooms. Ceiling fan in bathroom was def a plus. Pool was nice. Great location. Would recommend after small inconveniences get fixed.

Great Spot if you want silence

You are not allowed to have music or talk on your phones at the pool. The sign says it's a quiet pool and that is expected. A resident stood by her car and made sure you didn't ding her doors and made sure you knew she was watching you for no reason. Not a family place. Perfect if you are a quiet couple older in age.

Beautiful condo, furniture, grounds, view

This was truly a beautiful condo, furniture, grounds, and exceptional view from the lanai and master bedroom Extremely well equipped kitchen, deck, bedrooms etc. Pictures do not do justice to this place. It is even better in person. Even though there is no air conditioning almost all the windows are louvred on the outside, screened and louvred on the inside. Those that are not are screened and have blinds and curtains. Also deck has blinds. So with the normal Kaanapali breeze coming from the back of the condo and many ceiling fans it was always comfortable. Deck is protected from the wind. Note because it is a condo you can hear the people walking around upstairs but the noise was minor. Only thing of note was upstairs tenant seemed to be an older person so his tv was loud when on but could only be heard from the deck. I still would rent this location again. Thanks to the owner for a lovely stay.
