Wonderfully equipped property and in a stunning location. The views were amazing and the pool was great. Sarita was lovely and made the visit really special. She gave us loads of information about the local area, including a lovely visit to the little bookstore in the local village...There were so many wonderful places to visit and could have easily spent two weeks there inntead of just one. The kids absolutely adored the cats, especially Stealth. We'd definitely look to visit again.

Perfect family getaway

We have just returned from an absolutely fantastic week here! The location and surroundings more than live up to the description, the views are stunning. The pool was a major highlight for our boys, as was meeting the horses, and Sarita & Mauro were perfect hosts, always contactable for questions on anything. Nature is all around and there are also plenty of nice towns to visit by car not too far away. We’re already talking about if we can come back next year!

Nice house with great pool!

We stayed here for two weeks and we have enjoyed every minute of it. The house is very clean and so is the large pool. The surrounding area is stunning. The friendly and helpful owners are living in the same building , but you hardly see or hear them. Dear Sarita and Mauro, we really enjoyed staying in your house, thank you for everything! Amazing location !

Big and confortable house, clean with everything you may need. Stunning views all around ! The pool is fantasic, kept very clean and also with beautiful views of the surroundings. I feel in love with the sight from the windows of the kitchen. Very quiet and calm environment. Temperature going down in the evening allowing to sleep perfectly without need of air conditioning. The owner were not intrusive but very kind and supportive. They even let my daughter ride their horse twice! We also had the luck to see the RALLY from indie the property. If I have to find a small inconvenient , the wi-fi was a bit slow, but does not affect the 5 star rating of this place!

Fabelhaft

Thank you for your review. We are glad you enjoyed your stay and also loved those views! We will look at why dishwasher is noisy but the fridge situation cannot be changed - if the icemaker is on then unfortunately it is noisy - if the icemaker is not in use then it is quiet. Re the cooker hood, we know you reported this to the owner but said it didn't matter so she did not investigate until you left (with hindsight she should have insisted to look) and it was just that for some reason it had been switched off. Re the electricity going off, this was an area wide problem - there was a massive storm (3 people in Tuscany died) and the entire area was out of power. Unfortunately the owner could not react any quicker. Sarita has said the mattresses are relatively new, but she will sleep on them for a few days during the winter and change as necessary - thank you for the heads up! We are glad that overall you had a 4 star stay and hope to hear from you another time. Sarita sends her best wishes. Lorraine at tuscan-retreats

What a view!

Wat een uitzicht, wat een kalmte. Heerlijk zwembad!

Great Property in Stunning Location

The property is furnished and equipped to a very high standard. Lots of room if you want to be inside, but you'll probably spend most of your time out. The eating area patio has great views of the valley, if slightly obscured by the property itself. Looking the other way it feels like you might be in a tree house. A short stroll up the hill is the swimming pool with incredible views but at the same time a nice secluded location. Friendly and helpful hosts but not intrusive. So good we've already booked up again for next year!

Stunning and relaxing holiday

I was there for a week in August with my husband, sister and brother in law, and we had a wonderful time! Everything from the views to the house itself was amazing!! Breath taking surroundings and many places to visit such as small villages as well as Sienna, Lucca, Berga and many more. The house was very well equipped as well as comfortable, the outside area was very nice and had a BBQ. And of course the pool!! it was absolutely amazing with stunning views over the surrounding hills. The hosts were very nice and helpful but at the same time gave us lots of privacy. We will definitely come back in the future.

Very nice property with a pool with a view!

We enjoyed our 2 weeks stay very much! Nice house in the hills, large pool with a marvellous view, very kind owners. Very quiet, warm during the day but cold in the evenings (so not to hot to sleep). An excellent location for daytrips: we went to Lucca, Pisa, Barga, Lido di cammaoire and a little bit further (2hrs drive) Cinque Terre and San Gimignano. We can only recommand it!
