We would like to clarify that during your stay, there were multiple requests for services that are not included in the booking, such as asking the cleaning staff to provide cooking services, as well as requests to extend your stay beyond the confirmed check-out time. While we always try to accommodate our guests whenever possible, these requests fall outside our standard offerings and policies. Regarding the location of the house from the beach, if you check the first message that I sent with information, it said: "To reach the beach from Villa Samsara, you may walk downhill (about 5 minutes, 820 yards approximately), or you may drive. We do recommend some type of transportation to get around in general as taxis are not available in the area, either a 4x4 if you wish to visit nearby beaches or a golf cart but do keep in mind that the condo only allows 4-seaters". Then, in the house guide that I sent via e-mail, we mention different options for transportation (including contact information for golf cart companies) and indicate that, although walking is an option, it is a steep hill. Finally, two days prior to arrival, I sent the check-in instructions with the following information: "If you have not rented a vehicle, we recommend that you book ahead of time any transfer services you may need. The house is within a walking distance from the beach but it is a steep hill and you will need transportation to go to the supermarket and reach different areas in Tamarindo. The area does not have any official taxi service and UBER is very limited and unreliable. Transfer companies have limited resources and may not be able to accommodate last minute requests.". During certain times of the year, the sun moves towards the back of the house later in the morning, causing the pool to be less exposed to the sun. For that reason, we have a heat pump to heat the water and keep it at a nice temperature at all times. As for the layout, it was designed with the ample common areas on top so they can enjoy the best ocean and forest views.
