great location

the property was as advertised and we had a great time. the pool and hot tub was awesome and the location was within short drive to everywhere we wanted to go. would recommend this to family and would stay here again.

Awesome home for our family vacation!

We really enjoyed staying at this home! Just a short drive to the beach but close to a lot of shops and restaurants. We had plenty of room for our family of 12. The lake was beautiful!

Vacation House

House was perfect and very comfortable! It was in a quiet area too for a good night's sleep. Beach is nearby driving time was approximately 5-10 minutes. Many attractions and restaurants close by as well. We enjoyed our stay here!

Great house

We had a great time at this house! The property is close to everything, but tucked off in a more private location. The screened in pool was great for relaxing at the house. We really enjoyed the view of the lake as well. Property managers were very responsive when we had a question. I would recommend this listing for your next Santa Rosa getaway!

Christmas family vacation

Our family of 7 had more than adequate space to roam. The view was stunning with lake & forest. Loved the hot tub, and movie room too. Within minutes of several white sand beautiful beaches . We were not aware that the pool was un-heated and living room fireplace was non-operable. Many door knobs were loose and a few t.v. did not work. But overall a gorgeous, clean, organized place to stay.

Great Property

House was in a great quiet location. It was short easy drive 2 the beach. There were 8 TV'S. Only issue was learning how they worked. There were several different systems to operate and several remotes. Hot tub was great addition since it was cold 4 of the 7 days. Just take the cover off and jump in. The notes from the owner were the most helpful along with the welcoming gift. The unit was clean but it's time for that detail cleaning like the window seals and all the things that the women notice.🙂 All in all a beautiful property.

Almost paradise

Beautiful house, pool, hot tub and lake. The movie theater was a great success. The housekeeping could had been better. The cable box was a disappointment for watching t.v. in the guest house. I would definitely stay and recommend this beautiful home. I just recommend you pay more to the housekeeping company. Such a beautiful home should not have dust bunnies around.

2022 Family Vacation

The property was in a great location, private, and had a lovely view of one of the three ski lakes. The theater room was the hit of the week. There was plenty of space and we were never crowded. Everything was wonderful, with a few little issues. The sliding door out to the pool was difficult to open/close. We were told this was being repaired. We just did not use it and although inconvenient, it did not spoil our week. There were some lights out in the master closet and the remote/tv did not work in the master. The garage was musty from being closed up, we aired it out and it got much better. I understand this house is not available any longer and that is a disappointment for our future visits. Overall, it was a great stay and we would definitely love to stay here again.

Lakeside

Great vacation house. Plenty of room for our entire family. We were able to hang out on the beach, shop, bike, play games, build puzzles and enjoy catching up with family members. Amazing property. Thank you for sharing your lovely home with us.

Making Lake House Memories

Great place with plenty of space. We played games, built puzzles, explored the area, walked on the beach, shopped, had lots of laughs, and made lots of memories we will share for years. Loved our stay.

Overall great vacation

I will start by saying that we enjoyed our vacation and this home worked well for our family. There were a few hiccups that we hope can be addressed in order for us to potentially book this house again next year! The check in was a bit delayed, we were not able to get into the house until almost 6pm. We arrived early knowing we likely couldn't check in until 4pm as stated on the instructions however, we had to find things to do in the meantime. The yard, pool, and lake were amazing the main issues were fire ants throughout the grass that got most of us including the kids and dog a few times. We ended up buying stuff to try and minimize them. Additionally, the pool area and near the doors had quite a few sugar ants. Again, we were able to buy some ant killer early on and that significantly helped. The screen around the pool had been damaged due to a storm (we called about it) which let in quite a few bugs so mosquitos were quite bad but we survived with some bug spray! We also noticed that the cleaning crew did not do a great job even with us being delayed checkin by 2 hours. The drawer beneath the stove had tons of food and even a roach in it. Under the island had left over food and ants (we sprayed and knocked them out) as well as the pantry. The fans were also dusty along with some tables and other common furniture Items. The AC seemed to not cool super well upstairs and upon inspecting the AC filters, they were very dirty luckily my father is a maintenance engineer and works on HVACs so was comfortable cleaning them. Lastly, the room above the garage did not have internet nor cable even though it said it should have cable. There was no cable box and we were unable to get it working the entire trip. The room also took a long time to cool and we even went out to purchase some fans to help. After a few days we realized some closets had fans that we could have used but that's okay! We were finally able to get it to about 74-76 which was much more comfortable. Overall, our family was able to clean the areas of concern and make a few adjustments and still have a wonderful vacation. We will definitely consider staying here again next year and hope the above concerns are addressed to make a more enjoyable vacation for other tenants!

Home away from home plus more

We arrived late and realized that we didn’t have any heat, no biggie, we are used to Missouri winters. I called early the next morning and it was addressed promptly. The property is amazing, we brought our dog and she loved the big backyard. We cooked breakfast and lunch in the extra large kitchen and ate out in the evenings. Kids enjoyed the hot tub. It was a little chilly to swim but still enjoyable to sit in the backyard and look at it and the lake. The movie room was a hit especially since it was Bowl Game week. I would definitely recommend to other families. Best of both worlds, private yet minutes away from hot spots. We want to come back!

Mismanagement Agents

Before I made my final payment I asked the management company about their procedures during the pandemic. I was assured that the property would be cleaned to OSHA standards before we arrived and we would have no direct contact with people. I decided to continue with the vacation and bring all our supplies. After making the final payment they did not give me any information about check-in so I called. They said to call them on my way there and they would give me the information. I called on my way and they said they would give me the information when the place was ready. I told them we would arrive after they were closed and I wanted the code then. They made me promise that I would not arrive until 5pm even though my check-in time was 4pm. I said no problem we won't be there until 7pm. They said we will send you a text when it is ready. I called them four times before they finally gave me the code. We arrived after driving ten hours at 7:10 pm and discovered that they had just dispatched one woman to clean the very disgustingly filthy house. She told us she got there ten minutes before we did. The management company said they had no obligation to have the house ready at any specific time and they told my daughter they would call the police if I called with any more complaints. They did not refund any money for the first day even though the maid did not leave until after midnight. Many things including the movie room did not function as they were should have. The jets did not work in the master bath, no light in the shower, and the lights over the sinks strobe. The tub in the other bath released filth into the water when the jets were turned on. The pool was dirty and the hot tub filter was 7 days past due on being changed. Many things were broken. The maid did her best in a bad situation, but my grandchildren went around with dirty feet because nothing was clean. It was a lovely home with a wonderful location, but it is being maintained by people who do not feel any responsibility to provide the service the customer pays dearly for. Sincerely, Karen Prieto

Very Pleased

Nice & clean & comfortable. We enjoyed the house & its amenities. Unfortunately, a few days in to our stay we caught the flu bug which put a damper on things.Never the less, the house was lovely & we would stay again in the future.

Good location 5 min drive to beach

This house was a great size for our couples trip. The decor could use some updating but over all it's a great space. Overall I would recommend this home for family & friends vacation.

Perfect Family Vacation

We had a family fun time! Three generations came and we all had fun. We enjoyed the pool the most, swam as much as we could. Beautiful beaches, good food, close stores for supplies and seafood. And then to wind down movies in the theater room. We will be back.
