Historic Design Retreat Near Florence | Medieval Tower Sleeps 15

Thank you so much, Maria. It was a real pleasure having you all at Torre di Sopra for those two weeks. I loved seeing the house being enjoyed exactly as it should be: long dinners outside, pool days, sunsets, records, ping pong and plenty of time together. It was lovely getting to know you all a little, and you and your family and friends would be very welcome back anytime. Warmest wishes from Florence, Tom

Thank you Prasad, glad you enjoyed your stay.

It was a delight to host this charming multi-generational family. Fortuitously they were musical and appreciated the recently installed musical instruments we now provide; keyboard, guitar, percussion etc I look forward to welcoming them back.

Thank you so much for your beautiful words! They truly capture the spirit of the house. Torre di Sopra was designed to bring people together, and it means a lot to hear that your family reunion found such harmony here. We’re delighted you felt the blend of comfort, history, and light that makes the tower special. You’ll always have a home waiting for you in Tuscany - we hope to welcome you back one day. Warm regards,
From the Torre di Sopra team

We are delighted that they appreciated the property, the facilities and the easy proximity to Florence. Yet again the luxury of space proves what a welcoming property it is for another multi aged family gathering.

A great group who used the Torre as a base to discover Tuscany. They left us with an impossible puzzle that we hope future guests will be able to complete. And an amazing pebble artwork that will soon be featured on our Instagram.

Thank you so much for your thoughtful review. It was a real pleasure to host your family and we're delighted to hear that Torre di Sopra provided the setting for such a memorable gathering across three generations. One of the things we love most about the house is seeing guests make use of the spaces, games, records, art supplies, gardens, and pool in ways that encourage connection and shared experiences. Hearing that the absence of a television led to more conversations and games together is especially meaningful to us. We're also pleased that you enjoyed the balance between the tranquility of the Florentine hills and the convenience of being close to Antella and Florence itself. Thank you as well for mentioning the stairs. As a thousand-year-old tower and historic family home, the property does include a number of steps, uneven stone surfaces, and different levels, which are part of its character but do require extra care, particularly for younger children and older guests. It was a pleasure communicating with you before and during your stay, and we're grateful you chose Torre di Sopra for your family gathering. We hope to welcome you back to Tuscany again someday. Warm regards, Tom Torre di Sopra

We are delighted that yet another family enjoyed a happy reunion at Torre and were able to enjoy the glorious sunny October weather (well worth keeping the pool open for them). Wonderful to be able to enjoy Florence at a less busy time of year.

It was lovely to host your group and delighted that your micro wedding was such a success. We wish you all the best for the future.

It was a pleasure to host such a charming multi generational family over the Christmas period. They really appreciated the historic property and location near to Florence.

I am delighted to see that you appreciated and enjoyed your stay with us. I am however extremely sorry that you felt I was in any way intrusive and that my concern for the security of the property interfered with your stay. Please do accept my apologies and I would always be happy to receive a booking from you again. I was most impressed with the way you left the property for which I’m very grateful.

It was a delight to host Michel and his group. They thoroughly appreciated the architecture and environment and left the property in perfect condition. I look forward to welcoming them again.

It was a pleasure to host this charming and appreciative family who used their stay so well, visiting many local places and also enjoying the pool and garden. They left the property in immaculate condition and I very much hope they will return.

It was a pleasure to host this large family group. They left the property immaculately clean and tidy. We look forward to seeing you again when the pool is open.
