Amazing stay at burrow view

Awsome place to stay, very quiet and amazing views. Very clean and tidy accommodation. Also the halloween hamper made my little girls day when we first walked in.

Fantastic

From start to finish our little weekend for relaxing was fantastic. We had the sun heating up the accommodation and the sun setting over the hills was a sight for sore eyes. And yes, we had the goats coming to visit too, just perfect. If there was any fault to be had it needed somewhere to put your clothes and a full size mirror. Would definitely come again ... thank you

Burrow viewn lodge

Lovely stay very tranquil spot. Cabin was big enough for the two of us. Anyone more may be a little cramped. Place was clean and looked after. We had issues with mosquitos first night but other then that would defo book and go back

Wow what an amazing place

I booked this as a surprise for my partner. And we were both amazed driving up to our burrow view. Such a quirky place to stay. Inside was so nice & stylish. The views were beautiful & the sunset was amazing. Loved our stay will definitely be coming back

Great Place

Excellent stay,only negative is that it says dog friendly but needs to be enclosed with a fence outside so dogs can run free like the 2 berth ones.

We had an amazing stay at "Burrows View"

Burrows view was an amazing stay my partner had just lost her father and she just wanted somewhere to relax away from everything and this was the perfect place. The views are stunning and it is very tranquil there it feels like a home away from home, this is our second stay this year. The staff were so helpful and the cleanliness was amazing as was the style and layout of it

Beautiful location

Absolutely immaculate accommodation beautifully situated and the view from the Burrow and especially the hot tub was amazing.due to the design of the accommodation there is an extraction vent that has to be kept on but it is very noisy and is very difficult to sleep while it’s on and quite annoying during the day even when sat outside.The supplied fan was a godsend as it gets very warm inside

Top marks.

Stunning little hobbit house. Very clean, with a well-equipped kitchen that has everything you need. The beds were comfortable, and the bathroom, had a lovely hot shower. Beautiful views across the fields and surrounding hills, and you may even spot a few goats wandering around in the morning. There’s a small shed by the entrance to the site where you can buy fresh eggs and homemade cake – perfect for breakfast or with a cup of tea. It’s also only a few minutes’ drive to the shops in Rhayader. We had a fantastic stay and would happily return.

Weekend in Wales

Burrow View was in a great location, close to the town of Rhayader which has all you need, pubs, cafe, and convenience stores. We took our bikes which I would recommend as you get to see lots more of the area. Especially if you are visiting Elan Valley and the various dams. Overall great weekend and I’d definitely return.

Elan Valley short break

Stayed in a lovely self contained holiday home in Wales. Burrow View was a unique compact holiday let with wonderful views of surrounding countryside. Every morning goats would be grazing outside the property with sheep & cows in nearby fields. Perfect location to visit Elan Valley & town nearby. Hot tub barbecue & fire pit included.

A lovely little break

Stayed at burrow view for a weekend in February with our 2 girls. Absolutely loved it, great location to the village and shops, gorgeous scenery and the girls loved seeing the baby goats. Would recommend.

Burrow stay

Had a lovely stay in Burrow View. Beautiful scenery, lot's to do locally, kids had a great time in the hot tub, would recommend. My only feedback would be to have something that tells you about the accommodation and site in the property. Eg how to heat the property and where the bin store is.

Hot tub heaven

A perfect stay in the gorgeous Welsh countryside.. the hut was really well appointed. Hot tubing with stunning views was the perfect end to days of sightseeing & walking.. was nervous the hut would be cold as we stayed mid December but the heating system was fabulous.. my only negative comment is no rail to hang clothes and no shelving to store bathroom products, however these are very minor issues..

Amazing couple of peaceful days, definitely recommend you to anyone, only thing I can say is please provide plastic tumblers for when people go in hot tub I forgot to take mine . Will definitely go again

Our little stay in the Hobbit House

The Burrow View was excellent. Was a really cool little place to stay. The location and views were breathtaking. The beds were super comfortable! The shower was also a highlight! In the summer I can imagine this place would be at its best. The children loved it too and were really disappointed to leave. With the Elan Valley a short drive away there is plenty to do. If I was to be a little harsh would say storage for our stuff was a little tight, however they’ve done well to maximise the comforts in the accommodation, so really not a big deal. As a suggestion maybe a little more lighting on site to help navigate if arriving at night and some signage to direct to the different locations but these were really small issues that didn’t cause any problems. Would definitely visit again!

A wonderfully relaxing stay

Our family of 4 had a fantastic time staying here. Lots to do, friendly staff and neighbours and the views are amazing. Only slight downside was the light coming through the skylight early in the morning. I would bring a sleep mask next time.

The Burrow View

Our recent stay at Burrow View in February was nothing short of exquisite. I wholeheartedly recommend this accommodation and am already eager to rebook, this time bringing my family along. The property boasts tasteful decoration throughout, creating a truly inviting atmosphere. Guests will find a fully equipped kitchen, perfect for all culinary needs, and exceptionally comfortable beds ensuring a restful night's sleep. The outdoor space is a particular highlight, featuring an expansive dining area, a BBQ, a cosy fire pit, and a generously sized hot tub – perfect for relaxation. Beyond the accommodation, there's an abundance of activities to enjoy. We particularly loved exploring the Elan Valley with our dogs and discovering charming country pubs in the local town.

What a smashing few days away

We had a great stay in the hobbit houses. The weather was great and the hot tub was excellent. The goats that roamed the site were such fun to watch especially when having a BBQ. We are already planing a return trip with friends See you soon Les
