Ibis er et smukt og nyrenoveret strand-chic, kystnært soveværelse med 1 soveværelse med en kingsize-seng. Alle vores hytter er nymalet og har nye plankegulve og har alle nye møbler for at gøre dit ophold perfekt. Gå ind i hytten gennem din private screenede i Lanai med et bord og fire stole og gå ind i det åbne, luftige Ibis-hytte. Her finder du en kombination af stue, køkken, der er rummelig og malerisk og har alt hvad du har brug for til et afslappende og afslappende ophold. Ibis-hytten har udsigt over grundene til Periwinkle-hytterne, hvilket giver dig mulighed for at se det fantastiske natur og hyttenes charme. Alle vores hytter har tankevækkende og unikke rør i hele, fra belysning til kystkunst på væggene. Dette er et fantastisk sommerhus at opleve "gamle Sanibel" charme. Stranden ligger kun en kort gåtur væk uden at skulle krydse gader. Oplev solnedgange som aldrig før, og udforsk de smukkeste skaller i verden! Kontroller, at lavvande-diagrammet er de bedste tider for afskalning. Vi ser frem til at se dig snart!

We arrived at about 2:00 pm cottage was very warm, at around 5:00 we tried to contact management, was only able to leave a message. We went to dinner and came back around 9:00 ,it was still very hot. Tried to call management again had to leave a message. It was getting late so we booked a room off the island.Got to our hotel and then we received a call from management, to late we wernt going back because it was almost 11:00 pm.So we canceled the rest of our trip , two more nights with no refund,about 600 .00 dollars.

Very neat and clean cottages. The whole booking process was very easy and convenient.

We will definitely be back next year. Super cute cottages in the perfect location. Kim was quick to reply back to our request. Overall it was a great stay and everything we expected it to be.

Hidden gem of Sanibel

Good communication, great location, private and clean. We never left the island! Enjoyed using the bikes and private beach access. Close to all restaurants but in a residential like setting. Would highly recommend this cute cottage. Would definitely return.

My husband and I had never previously stayed "down the road" from the beach decided to see what it was like. Yes, we made more effort than walking out the door across the sandy walkway, however, we would do it again and that's mainly due to the accessories provided by the Periwinkle cottages! So thankful for the beach chairs, umbrella, beach wagon AND the bikes!! We very much enjoyed biking down the street, maneuvering the sandy walkway to the beach. No problem. On a cloudy day, we headed across the street to the long stretch of island path, biked 8 miles! The bikes added something fun to our vacation. We very much appreciated the availability & spontaneity of them. The only "negatives" regarding the cottages, if you'd call them that--could be our lack of understanding. We did not understand the laundry was coin operated. 5/load to wash and dry. Thankfully we bought quarters at CVS. There are no mirrors that I could see myself below chest height. However, I just hoped for the best and went about my way! But a full length or longer mirror might be a consideration.We rotated the mattress initially, but found it comfortable for 5 nights, memory foam is not our go-to, but it was good!Beach access could be better described in details. We saw confused guests not knowing about the dedicated beach parking/walkway. So glad I pre-asked for details. See photos.Tiki hut out back was useless (to us) mainly because there are no lights after dark. Overall, excellent stay, thank you!

The place was nice with a couple of issues. Tub drain was very slow, kitchen sink faucet very loose, lots of ants. But overall great.

Great Trip

Only stayed for a few days but didn't want to leave. The cottage was very nice for the two of us, just the right size and the walk to the beach was not a problem. We did not drive (and use the beach pass) and walked it twice a day. Everything about the stay was fabulous and the beach was amazing (shells, Shells and MORE SHELLS) and there was almost no one there. We walked for miles along the beach and saw, at most, maybe 20 other people.

Stay

Rain happened but stay was still enjoyable. One suggestion was to have shampoo, conditioner and body wash available as I have never stayed anywhere that didn’t have it.

Quiet, simple, lovely

Close to nature and a quiet beach away from the public accesses! This property is just as represented. Service by Kim (property manager) and cleaners is great. So comfy, great light, and aesthetically pleasing! Already booked another 10 days next year.

Perfect!

Our family of 4 thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Periwinkle Cottages. Our cottage was clean and stocked with everything we needed. It was just the right size, with plenty of closet and drawer space. The location was perfect for us, quiet, but on the bike path. Kim, the Manager was wonderful. She was easily accessible and so sweet. We loved having access to bikes!

40th Wedding Anniversary trip

My husband and I stayed mid-March for 7 days. The weather cooperated and it was sunny and mid-70’s all week! The Ibis cottage was perfect for the two of us and it was far enough away from the commerce area that it was peaceful and quiet. We never ran out of activities and excursions mixed in with beach days. It was very helpful to have the Tradewinds beach available as all the other beaches were challenging to find parking. If there was any downside to our stay it was the lack of laundry facilities at the cottage and none at all on the island. We definitely will recommend to others and would stay again in the future.

Perfect quiet getaway

Title: Relaxing Getaway with Private Beach Access I recently stayed this property that exceeded all my expectations. The property, was immaculately clean and provided a quiet and peaceful retreat. One of the highlights of the rental was the access to a private beach at the end of the road, which offered a serene and secluded spot to unwind and enjoy the sun and sunsets. Additionally, the inclusion of free bikes added an extra layer of enjoyment to the stay. Exploring the surrounding area on the bikes was a fantastic way to take in the beautiful scenery and get some exercise. Overall, my experience at this rental was superb. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway with convenient access to a private beach and the added bonus of free bikes for exploring the area. The peaceful ambiance of the property made for a truly memorable stay.

Comfortable accommodations

We enjoyed our stay and appreciated the attention to keeping pests away. My only complaint is the lack of kitchen items. This place is really for those who plan to eat most of their meals out. I had to purchase coffee filters, salt & pepper and had to request a cheese grater and cutting board. The manager did send a cheese grater and a couple cutting boards which was much appreciated. Fortunately, one of the other rentals shared their knives and a cutting board with us while we waited for our own.

Hello. I need to inform you that this property was grossly misrepresnted and not at all as advertised. There was swamp land and construction all around it. The unit was connected to another unit. So thereby limiting privacy. The beach which was stated as just a few steps away was about a quarter of a Mile away with no real way to use it. It was all mud so there would be no way you could lay out or enjoy it . We were so appalled and disappointed we made the sacrifice of quickly checking into another property on captiva. I understand the no refund policy but I think in a case like this since we never used it there should be some compensation.

good stay

Easy check in process, good Neiborhood, nice to have bikes (although someone needs to grease the chains and wheels), liked the shell washing station. Disappointed with a few items. Stained towels, dirty pullout sofa (its obvious that no one checks this at check out, lots of sand and food crumbs on the mattress), lots of ants in the bathroom and kitchen, along with cockroaches in the kitchen. Ran into the pest control person and he took care of the issue, very thorough no more bugs. The entrance door to the unit is not very secure (someone should look at this. Other than these issues we did have a good stay.

Fantastic value! Location, accommodations, peaceful!

We had an amazing experience in Ibis#3. My 2 friends and I took a “Girls Trip” to Sanibel. Accommodations: Comfy king size bed, crisp linens, brand new hide-a-bed with a very comfy blow-up air mattress. Cute updated decor, apartment-size fridge, plenty big for meals for 3 adults, well-appointed kitchenette w/granite countertop, nice size living area. Easy check-in, new hotel-style air conditioners (not pictured) that kept the unit nice and cold, even in July! Coin laundry on site, grills, everything you need for the beach: chairs, umbrella, shell gear, beach towels, wagons, and more! Check the stash before you buy anything! Location: Quiet neighborhood, we road the free bikes to the beach. The beach access was a little hard to find, tucked in behind the plush foliage on a gravel drive, then down a pathway to park the bikes, and through the dunes to the PRIVATE beach! So amazing! No high rise buildings, just a few private homes in sight far off the shoreline. So private that we were a good 30 ft away from the next beach-goers! We may never go back to a condo beach community again. The cottage is on a quiet main road. Turn left, head to Captiva. Turn right, he’s to Sanibel.-just a few miles either way. Sanibel-what a treasure! So much is preserved like “old Florida.” Quiet, relaxed, no crowds when we were there, we ate dinner around 5:00 each night and never waited for a table. We ate brunch at the Sunset Grill every morning with gulf-view and a breeze (ask for Michelle). The abundance of shells on our private beach exceeded our expectations. Surprises: the exterior needed a good pressure washing and a little paint, but the inside made up for that, and you are on a tropical island, after all, especially for the price!! Shell-cleaning station was cool! Alligator warning signs surprised us, but we never saw an alligator! The cottage was actually a duplex, but did not feel like a duplex, and we did not hear our neighbors from inside. If you are interested in deep-sea fishing or sight-seeing, check out Captain Sean O’Connor at Four Leaf Charter. We shelled one lunched on a private island! So cool! We had ample room for 3 adult besties and, for us, for this price, Periwinkle Cottages was absolutely perfect!!!

Lovely Cottage

We loved our stay in Ibis #3. Was exactly how it was presented on VRBO! Super clean and well serviced. We really enjoyed the private beach access and all the amenities that came along with the rental of the property. Would definitely recommend it as a must stay location!!!

Fabulous Experience

We had a fabulous experience at Tradewinds. Everything was what we expected. Checkin was seamless. Any questions we had were answered right away. Beach access was super close and private. We loved in here. We will be back!
