Velkommen til Sunrise in Your Slippers på Bald Head Island!

"Solopgang i dine hjemmesko" er myrfronten, der lever bedst! Udsigten er spektakulær fra det vigtigste opholdsstue, soveværelse, veranda og dæk. Vi er bogstaveligt talt skridt væk fra myra med det lige i din egen baghave! Skærmverandaen er en af vores favoritter, der er væk fra stuen. Udsigterne er unikke! Master suite har en king size seng med sin egen private dæk med udsigt. Det er bare perfekt til din morgenkaffe. Gæstesoveværelset består af 2 enkeltsenge og et bad. Der er også en fælles pool til dit brug. Vi har masser af strandudstyr og en 4 passagervogn. Et BHI-sportsmedlemskab kan købes med dit ophold såvel som et Shoals-medlemskab.

Inkluderer: Strandstole, strygejern og strygebræt, Pack & Play, kulgrill og en almindelig kaffemaskine

Beautiful location!

We loved staying here. The marsh view from the porch is magical, and everything was easy from the golf carts to the bikes. We will be back!

Lovely location with a beautiful view of the sound

The condo was easy to find and the descriptions were accurate. It has a cottage feel and was perfect for our last minute weekend getaway. It is well located between the marina and the island shops. We definitely will stay at the location again.

Great Stay

The view from this property is amazing. The unit while it’s a little dated, in my opinion is the best value at BHI. The two carts are great and the pool in the complex is wonderful as well.

The size and location was perfect for us and the marsh views could not be beat! We would totally stay there again. Carpets and cushions could use a deep cleaning.

Beautiful view, nice location

This condo really does have beautiful views and it is conveniently located close to the marina and ferry landing. We were able to conveniently get around the island on the provided golf cart. The condo was a good fit for the two of us.

Fantastic views

My daughter and I came over with our yacht club and rented Sunrise in your slippers. The views from the porch were incredible. The place was clean and comfortable. There are 2 golf carts which mad it very handy. I would stay here again.

Special Place

We LOVED the view! Yes, the place was a bit tired and in need of a facelift, but the basics were as promised. It was clean and cozy! We did have an issue with the bikes, but we were able to get them working.

At One With Nature

BHI in itself is immersion in nature, and this home is the exclamation point! Upon walking in you are greeted with a view of hundreds of acres of pristine sea grass and creeks. The home is well appointed and comfortable, although the majority of our time was spent sitting on the screened porch enjoying the sights, and sounds of nature around us. A truly unforgettable weekend!

Slippers

Charming cottage atmosphere, enjoyed our mornings on the porch taking in the creek views. Definitely time for some upgrades the carpet pad and some of the cushions are shot. Beds slept great . If noise bothers you definitely get the top floor. We were there for a wedding and the location was great. While old it is very clean and comfy

Best view ever!

My family has been coming to Bald head island for over 30 years. Our first stay was at Timbercreek. The condos are situated perfectly. This unit was great. Has an old school beach cottage feel. The view of the marsh from the screened in porch was truly amazing. My key fell off the ring and the management had it fixed for me in no time. Golf carts were great. No weak batteries or slow crawlers. I recommend it highly!! Thank you for the great memory.

Staycation

Overall our stay was great! The location overlooking the creek view was relaxing and pleasant. My only complaint is that the cleanliness wasn’t the same as some of our prior visits. It obviously didn’t impact our stay as we were out and about majority of our stay but noticed a lot of dust on furniture, as well as a few dirty dishes. Then in the guest shower there was hair in the drain and in the master bathroom a shampoo lid was in the shower and bedroom floor. As I said it didn’t effect our stay and would still come back.

Family of 4

We have vacationed on BHI for many years and have stayed at many different properties in the island. This was our second time staying at Timbercreek. We like the location, view and size of the rental for our family. We also had a limited time frame for vacationing this summer. The place was very nice and met our needs. The views were magnificent and location was perfect. A few things/thoughts about the place for the future: 1. Clean up the mold in the bathrooms (showers) and washing machine. 2. More towels, beach towels 3. Bikes that were operational 4. Maybe a little updating Thank you and we look forward to our next trip to BHi. Jodi

This condo needs some serious attention! The smell of moth balls in the entire unit and cockroaches in kitchen were worst. The fan on screen porch was broken. The entire unit is in need of update! Sadly, I did not enjoy our stay.

Wonderful view!

I’ve been coming to BHI since 1997 and usually stay where my parents have fractional ownership. That house was not available this weekend so I rented in Timbercreek. The view was magnificent! I loved sitting on the porch and viewing the marsh. The unit had a good layout for us and was clean. It hasn’t been updated so if you desire double sinks, granite countertops and new furniture, look elsewhere. The king bed was comfortable and my college age daughter and friend indicated their twin beds were too. One of the golf carts wasn’t working and the rental company quickly made arrangements to pick it up and loaned us another cart for the weekend. All of the staff I spoke with was very helpful and polite. I’d not hesitate to rent this unit again if my parents place isn’t an option.

Great sunrise and marsh views, but has cons...

We overall had a very pleasant week at BHI and thoroughly enjoyed the location, views and amenities that Sunrise in Your Slippers had to offer while we were there. That being said, this property is in desperate need of renovations/updates. Both bathrooms have mold developing on the ceilings. Furnishings are very worn down and need deep cleaning. Wallpaper, counters and cabinets are outdated, and peeling in places. There are 3 very worn down, small beach towels so I would recommend bringing your own. There are a few things provided for beach equipment (chairs, some shovels, a baby float), but they are very old and most likely need to be replaced soon. The seals around windows and doors are not great and let in bugs and other pests even though the listing does get pest control every so often. It was not uncommon to encounter 1-3 cockroaches daily and my husband even woke up one night to find a cockroach crawling next to him in bed. The condo is on the first floor and you will have upstairs neighbors. We unfortunately had a very loud, large family staying above us during the week that was oblivious to their children stampeding through the condo at all hours of the day. We don't regret staying at this listing for our vacation, but will most likely be looking to stay at a different property the next time that we come to BHI.

Wonderful place

We had a wonderful time staying at ‘Sunrise in your slippers’. The view was just beautiful. The furniture and the beds were comfy. It was easy to check in. We also loved the location of the unit.

Sunrise in slippers 6B Timber Creek

Overall we had a pleasant time. Location and views were wonderful. Rental unit itself is a little outdated and getting worn down from rental use, needs new paint, carpet, kitchen & bath cabinets and appliances as well as new outdoor furniture cushions.

As advertised. Very quiet location

We were concerned about renting a condo because we visit BHI to get away from noise and crowds. Not only was our area of the condos very quiet, the upstairs neighbors we encountered in passing were very nice. The property could have been cleaned better , but otherwise was exactly as advertised and pictures were accurate. We enjoyed our stay .
