We had a fabulous stay in Playa Langosta. Stewart and Hans were great communicators, the condo was spacious and clean and extremely well located. We enjoyed the morning walks to see the Howler monkeys, the afternoons in the pool, and of course the sunsets on the beach. Highly recommend!

Great host and property manager, very helpful. The unit itself is great, good size, everything you need (kitchen had most of what I needed to cook and bake, had laundry facilities and beds were comfortable) It was perfect for us, a five minute walk from our son’s condo and a two minute golf cart ride (we had parking for our golf cart) The area was really nice. Nice having a pool.

Quiet location close to Tamarindo

The property is clean and conviently located within walking distance of Tamarindo but in a quiet neighborhood with beach access and everything you need. There's a private pool area for the complex that the kids really enjoyed. Would definitely stay here again.

Peacefull And great surf

Great location and great place to stay with family alot quieter than tamorindo but close enough you can pop in and out easy. Beach was a quick walk and nice waves. Kids enjoyed seeing the monkeys on our walks to check the waves.

From the moment of booking our reservation the communication with Stewart was fantastic. Everything he suggested to do in Costa Rica was spot on. The property manager, Hans, was also fantastic with communication. When there was a problem with the AC he had a wonderful father and son repair team at the property immediately and it was fixed. Will highly recommend this to any of my friends or family and definitely rebook when we come back. Pura Vida!

Súper Host and great location

Stewart was so prompt and kind with every interaction. We loved the house, the pool and walking into town. Playing in the tide pools and searching for beautiful shells every morning was awesome. Thanks!

I stayed here for 5 weeks with my family, including our toddler and infant. It was perfect. Location wise it is in a quiet community, less than 5 min to the beach with multiple access points to playa Langosta, 10 min walk to playa Tamarindo and 15 min walk into the heart of Tamarindo. Multiple restaurants and a children’s library a short walk from the condo. The condo itself was more spacious than the pictures. Stewart was a great host and he and the property manager Hans went to great lengths to make sure we were comfortable for our stay. The kitchen is well equipped with everything we needed for our longer stay. The owners of the other units were welcoming and the pool and common areas quiet. We had an amazing time and highly recommend.

Great place to stay

This place was a great option for our family of 4. The condo was comfortable, beautifully decorated and well stocked. We appreciated the use of beach chairs/towels. Restaurants, Playa Longosta, and a small grocery store are a short walk away. We saw Howler Monkeys most days on our walks to the beach. Tamarindo beach access is a little further away but still close enough to walk.

Great spot very spacious unit perfect for 2 couples 15 minute walk into downtown pool was great to have we met some very nice people while staying cool only complaints is we were expecting to have a BBQ available for our use and it would have been nice if a cleaner had come in once during our stay

It was the PERFECT spot :Comfort, beauty and warm all wrapped up in one as regards to the unit

It was one of the best properties we’d started air with great owners and staff who are accessible. The location is close enough to all the action but far enough to get away from the noise of Tamarindo. Perfect!!! A great stay in a wonderful Country. We will return!!

Great Stay

We stayed for 4 nights as a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 teens) and were very happy with the property. It was clean, very spacious, and nicely equipped with everything we needed. Loved that there were beach chairs, an umbrella, a cooler, boogie boards… everything we could want for a fun day at the beach! It was an easy walk to Tamarindo (about 10-15 minutes) for great restaurants, shopping and night life. The owner, Stewart, and property manager were both very helpful and responsive to any questions. We were really happy with our stay at this property and would gladly rent here again if we come back to beautiful Costa Rica!

Great place

This condo was as advertised, clean , well stocked and the location is amazing. I talked to the owner a few times and he replied every time I had a question . Communication was fast and easy. Our washing machine broke down the day we arrived and was replaced a few days later. Would for sure stay there again. Strongly recommend this unit.

Comfortable stay in Tamarindo!

We had a great stay here. Comfortable condo with everything we needed. Our group was 4 adults (2 couples) and the place was a very good size for us. Very close to Langosta beach where you can walk down to see the sunsets or enjoy the day. Langosta beach is quieter than Tamarindo beach which is also within walking distance. The pool was clean and well maintained and very nice to have access to in the hot afternoons. About a 15-20 minute walk to the centre of town but easy to navigate. Being so close to Langosta beach was great. The sunsets are unreal.

Serene Location

The property was clean accessible in a very quiet and growing community. The unit was clean and was exactly what was pictured. The host was very was accessible and easily accommodated any questions we had. The overall feel of the place was very serene even though the place was in a thriving upcoming neighborhood. We even saw monkeys playing around in front of the house. Very spectacular.

It was a quiet paradise

Casa de Malia was a beautiful little gem tucked in a neighborhood very near Playa Langosta. We were a block from a grocery store, a few restaurants and the beach. And the walk to Tamarindo was scenic and took 15 minutes. The beach at Playa Langosta was gorgeous and the sunsets were spectacular. We spent every evening down at the beach watching the sun and never did it disappoint. We loved where we were staying, the people who shared the condos and the gentleman who cared for the grounds. I would highly recommend this rental to a family of 4!

Peaceful Escape from busy Tamarindo

We had great stay at the Langosta Condo. Owner Stewart and property manager Hans were very helpful, and super responsive for any questions we had. We stayed for 5 nights over Christmas and enjoyed it very much. Far enough and close enough to downtown Tamarindo to have access, but no night and traffic noise. We stayed in 2 other places during our stay in Costa Rica, and this one was definitely the best all around stay we had. It had all the appliances, plates and utensils that you would need in a normal kitchen, and a large fridge to hold your food and drinks. The condo is nice and roomy, the AC worked great and the hot water worked fine. Nice little patio sits 2, otherwise the pool area is just below with a larger areas. Our other places did not have a pool, and regret that now, pool areas are awesome in the hot Costa Rica climates. We spent most of our time at the Langosta Beach, which is only down the block. Tamarindo beach is a bit of a walk, or short drive. All in all I would definitely book again at this place, no complaints.

Wonderful Condo!

My friend and I stayed in this condo for 11 nights. The unit has two master bedrooms both with en suite and that made the stay so comfortable. It is a large unit. The kitchen is big and had everything we needed. The air conditioning worked wonderfully (thank goodness)! The wifi was fast and reliable. There were options to watch movies as well as live TV. The condo was very clean. It is about a block and a half from the beach. The Playa Langosta area was quiet and peaceful but it is very close to Tamarindo where it is lively with shops and lots of people. You get the best of both worlds. One thing I will point out is that if a person has any sort of mobility issues they would not want to choose this condo. Both my friend and I can walk just fine; however, the steps to the second floor condo are not safe for anyone who has a knee issue or trouble with ambulation. I was recovering from a knee replacement and my friend has a bad foot so it took some doing getting up and down them. They might also be hazardous for young children. Had it not been for Alvaro, the man who works there, we would not have been able to get our bags up to the room, especially after 16 hours of traveling to get there. Even with that, we loved the condo, never tripped down the stairs and had a great time.
