Denne overkommelige en-værelses lejlighed tilbyder en fantastisk havudsigt. Beautiful Views

Great location as far as the views from every window and lanai. We got to see whales which was a plus. The unit itself is comfortable - the kitchen had great cookware and we ate dinners in. The living room furniture could use some TLC and be updated. Also don’t be surprised by the weather beaten outside - inside is worth every penny for the view.

Kauai paradise

The stay was amazing! The location was beautiful and the sunrise was to die for! Had some grumpy downstairs neighbors but that had nothing to do with this amazing booking! Will definitely stay again!

What a view!

The unit is perfect for a party of two and the view is fantastic! The unit is older and could use a little updating, however, the location is both quiet and scenic. We would definitely return to this property!

Whales and sea turtles

Great value! We saw whales, sea turtles, and birds from our condo, and we enjoyed magnificent sunrises with the lighthouse in the in the distant background. The condo had beach chairs, snorkels, a small cooler, and beach towels... all we needed for a day at Anini Beach.

Clean and Lovely views

We had wonderful weather, and the property is perfect for a couple. Amazing views from each room. Washer, dryer are helpful. A beach cooler made day trips perfect. Will be back. Would give it 10 stars.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We always enjoy our time at sealodge. There were some hangups this time but we still enjoyed the stay overall. Hangups were the internet didn’t work in the beginning and took a few back and forth communications to get it going. Biggest disappointment was the dryer had been ruined by a previous guest but housekeeping didn’t notice so we didn’t have a dryer for our 8 day stay.

Perfect View, clean and nice amenities!

We loved the view! Waking up to the sunrise over the ocean right in front of you was amazing. We enjoyed going on the balcony frequently and listening to and looking over the ocean. This is such a nice place to be and everything related to our stay here was amazing. Check out seaside beach too! One thing we wish we did differently would be to spend more time around the condo and relaxing but if we went back to Kauai we would definitely stay here again. Thank you for your hospitality! All the things for us to use were really nice and made the trip even better!

We loved the Condo, but not the Manager.

We had a great time in this place! Beautiful view!! Very close to facilities. It had everything we need it, except enough toilet paper, two rolls for 2 people for 10 days. I called the manager many times with no response. I left two voicemails and finally she called back the next day and said she advised the housekeeper to leave some for us, but the cleaner never did. I went to knock on the managers door with no response. We went and bought some, very expensive in the island.

This visit our unit was having kitchen upgrades that were not done by the time of our arrival. Kauai Kahuna was extremely helpful in communicating with and relocating us to another unit. Rental was very clean and we had everything we needed for our stay. Location was great for the Northshore. Only issues were the sliding door and windows were hard to open and close. Had to put some strength behind opening and closing. Other issue is locking the front door. Only lock was the push button entry. Would have been nice to have a secondary lock that could only be locked when inside. Besides all that very happy with our stay.

Do your research before booking!

It's hard to complain about things while in paradise. HOWEVER, this was our 3rd stay in Kauai & the accommodations at this unit were very disappointing. Overall, it was clean & in good repair. The views were outstanding from the deck. It would have been nice to spend time out there but there are two plastic chairs to sit on & that's it . Bring binoculars because the set left for guests were broken. There is no washer and dryer inside the unit & having to go get quarters, hang around to do laundry & go back & forth to the laundry room in the next building was a waste of our vacation hours. There is no A/C & there are no ceiling fans. When coming from a cold climate, it takes a few days to adjust. The front of the refrigerator is rusting away & very unsightly. The throw pillows in the window seat & in the bedroom have spots of mold on them. The kitchen: We were not allowed to use the garbage disposal. There was no pepper, foil, plastic wrap or anything for preparing food such as cooking oil. There were no dish rags or pot holders. We rent these kinds of places when traveling to save money on eating out. We had to make multiple trips to the store for basics. That was the biggest disappointment of all. It's hard to believe all of the guests are not buying & leaving these kinds of supplies behind, so where are they? We were so irritated about this that we gave everything we bought to a neighbor since we were pretty sure the the things we purchased would not be available for the next guest. The bed was also pretty uncomfortable & the bedding, most of the towels and the bathmats need replacing. It really felt as if the owner of this unit just didn't care much about it or is just too cheap to update it & make it more appealing and comfortable. I put on clean, white socks after one of my showers & the bottom of the socks were dirty within an hour after walking around on the carpet. There is no removable shower head. There is also no wall for the bedroom. There is a plastic, folding partition to separate the dining room from the bedroom. We had the opportunity to view the neighbor's unit across the hall & their unit had solid surface flooring, very nice furnishings & just had a comfortable feel to it. We were disappointed & decided to leave a frank review so others would not have the same disappointing experience we did. The guestbook in the unit had many complaints but we didn't see any posted on line. I should have done more research.

Enjoyed all the extras in the storage closets. The unit was very clean. I sense the owner does not want to invest much money or time to make improvements (better mattress, new pillows, washer/dryer)- no changes in 5 years.

The landscape is incredible with both the mountains and the beaches. The property could use some updating but the view and the whale watching was incredible. Not to mention the private beach that is a short hike away.
