We always enjoy the Capri

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We are always just happy to be at the Capri. We have been coming for around 10 years. It is our absolute favorite place! I will say, this is our first time in 102. The furniture has ratty slip covers with tears, the dishes (pots and pans) were very inadequate. We had to go buy some to cook with, and the lights on either side of the vanity wouldn't work even though the bulbs were changed. The refrigerator ice maker also doesn't work. I don't feel this unit was up to the normal Capri standard. We were very pleased to see repairs had been made to the deck flooring and the outdoor grill situation had improved. Also loved that the Capri now owns the umbrellas on the deck! Management was so very nice and we still had the best time!

Capri by the Gulf is a modern version of Old Florida

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Location and beach service were wonderful! Rental was very clean and staff was amazing and very accommodating! I would recommend updating the inside of the rental- dresser drawers are falling apart,, tips and tears in the furniture, bathroom and closet sliding doors off the rail, and some minor woodwork painting should be done.

Loved that it was a gated private beach. The sand and water was gorgeous Beach service was amazing , loved that Chance stayed on top of things and set up chairs and umbrellas each morning. On arrival our condo was a bit run down. There was a dry blood stain on the couch and we had a very large ( looked like a small mouse ) roach in living area a silver fish type bug in the bed. After that…we never saw a bug. Easy drive to stores and restaurants. loved the deck for having coffee in the morning and wine in the evening with gorgeous views Would come back here for sure!!!

My home away from home

The two swivel chairs are in very poor condition-fabric is threadbare and I had to take cushions from one chair and add to the other to have any support. Sofa bed is marginal but only used one time. Bed is great. New living room furniture would make this a 5 star unit.

People were coming in off the streets in golf carts. We were not at all secured. It was unnerving, to say the lease, to pay what we do to stay there and have no security for that length of time.

Remembering the old fashion motor lodges, we found this place to be charming and nostalgic. The unit itself, was upgraded nicely, decorated lovely, had everything we needed. We were very comfortable there and look forward to making our way back to the beautiful clear green waters of Destin.

If you’re in search of clean, quiet, one-level beachside getaway without all the noise and elevator nonsense, this place is for you! This was my second year to book at this location and I’m sold! Keith and staff were so responsive to helping secure the location by phone. *yes you can book all online* Staff were great with communicating by email and text messaging once I arrived.You can’t beat daily beachside umbrella service, spacious and unobstructed views while on the beach...did I mentioned unobstructed? No need to pack and lug that heavy canopy! This location is perfection for couples, girls trip, or family with young/small children. I appreciate the gated features and ease of parking. No pool but your steps from the largest, most beautiful Gulf “pool”. :)For you foodies, you’ll find plenty of restaurants for a nice dinner(s) out. If you prefer beach-bum status (me!) grab your groceries for the week and prepare to unplug! My family have already looked into reservations for next summer. Consider me a regular 🏖️🩵😉Winner winner lobster dinner!!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall it was very good. There were a couple minor issues that we shared with the office when checking out. There were some stains on the primary bedroom wall by the end table on right side of the bed. The closet door in the bathroom was missing the roller/pin on top so the bi-fold operates as a door. Only one of the 2 light switches to the right of the door when walking into condo worked (outside light). Inconvenient when coming home At night and had to go to bar area to turn on interior lights. Also outlet in bedroom, on right side of bed, only one of the two outlets worked.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is not the place for you if you are looking for a crowed, noisy beach vacation. This place is small very quiet with easy access to the room and and short walk to the beach with chairs and umbrella. Only negative I could say is mattress is old and needs to be replaced. I had two maintenance problems during my stay and they were quickly resolved by an on site guy.

The beach service and easy access made our trip with a toddler so much less stressful. The area around the unit is very nice, we enjoyed walking around to restaurants, shops and trying to catch the ice cream truck.
