Frankie Jo, thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We appreciate hearing from our guests and the opportunity to address your concerns. When you first contacted me by text on your arrival night, a Sunday evening at approximately 10 PM, you shared that the condo was very nice and clean. You also mentioned that the master bathroom jacuzzi tub was not getting warm. I promptly called you to discuss the concern and explained that this is an oversized 80-gallon jacuzzi tub with a longer plumbing run, so it can take additional time for hot water to reach the tub. I also explained that, with three bathrooms in the condo, if showers or the tub had recently been used, the available hot water may not be sufficient to immediately fill this large tub. We were not contacted again during your stay regarding this concern. Regarding the roach concern, we were notified by text the day before your departure that you had seen and killed two roaches in the kitchen. We thanked you for letting us know and explained that routine pest service was already scheduled for the following day. Unfortunately, living in a coastal environment means that occasional pests can occur despite regular preventative treatments. We take these reports seriously and address them as quickly as possible. The temporary water interruption on July 15 was caused by an unexpected fire protection inspection that affected the water supply across multiple nearby neighborhoods and communities in our area. This was not an issue with the condo itself and was outside of our control. As soon as we were notified, we immediately communicated the interruption to our guests and followed up once water service was restored. The condo is equipped with an Ecobee thermostat, which allows guests to adjust the temperature settings for their comfort. We were not contacted regarding any difficulty operating the thermostat, but we would have been happy to assist if we had known there was a concern. Regarding the ocean view, our listing photos and description accurately represent the view from the condo. The property is not advertised as beachfront view, and prior to arrival we personally communicate with our guests regarding the accommodations, private beach access, included beach service, location, and property details to ensure the condo is a good fit for their vacation needs. We are a small family-owned vacation rental company, and communication with our guests is one of our highest priorities. We make every effort to respond promptly to calls, texts, and concerns throughout a guest’s stay. While we understand that every vacation experience is different, we appreciate the opportunity to clarify the timeline and details surrounding your stay. We wish you the best in your future travels.
