This place excited all my expectations. Kitchen was great, specious and functional. It's clear this property is very well taken care of. It's such a peaceful and quiet spot; perfect for relaxing. The location couldn't be better.

We have been with VRBO for at least 30 years. Over 20 rentals during this time.This was close to the very best as far as the location, ample supplies, cleanliness, decor, service, and generalatmosphere in this nice condo.

Magic Sands Perfection!

Exceptionally clean, VERY comfortable beds, well supplied kitchen, good furniture! Delighted to find plenty of essential toiletries, coffee filters, laundry soap, etc! The unit is tastefully decorated. Appreciated the quiet condo community. This is a community that values friendliness and a peaceful place to relax. LOVE IT!

Perfect for an extended stay

My family of four stayed here for two weeks while my other family members also rented units from this same complex. This was the best solution to finding an affordable AND amazing place for our big family get together. The unit is comfortable with a good AC unit to keep things cool, VERY comfortable beds and fully stocked for you to enjoy your time. The washer and dryer work great. There are PLENTY of towels. The lanai has lots of of swim stuff as well. The pool is AMAZING. It's 8 feet deep at one end, has a shallower end, as well as a hot tub. There are literally only two drawbacks for my entire time here, and both of these are super manageable. The first is to get into the unit, you are going to scrape the bottom of your vehicle unless it's lifted a good ways. You can POSSIBLE get it to not scrape, but I did it twice in two weeks. So be ready. The driveway is also very narrow especially at the road, so be cautious. The second is the ocean. While absolutely gorgeous (seriously, the pictures that show the bright turquoise waters doesn't do it justice), this can be a bit of a rougher experience for people who aren't familiar with the water. So just a word of cautious for people to REALLY be careful. On a side note, there's a restaurant across the street and you can sit and enjoy a meal while watching people get eaten by the ocean. lol All in all, 10 out of 10, would DEFINITELY stay again, and will strongly recommend to anyone interested to go.

Dream getaway

I love the location and accessibility of stores, restaurants and best part beach. The beach is right across the small street. The hosting company is very attentive and the home has everything you could possibly need. It’s been 6 months from our stay and my kids still talk about this vacation.

Clean and Fully equipped

We loved our stay at this property. This is right in front of the Magic Sand Beach. The communication with the property management was very swift. Blake always responded to all my questions and requests very quickly. We didn't have any issues here. Its a quick 10 mins drive to happening downtown kona. And little over an hour drive away from most of the attractions either on the kohala side or the south side of the island. It would have been better of the living room was a little more roomier. This property has a parking spot right is right next to the elevator and even the rental itself is right in front of the elevator and that made it very easy move our luggage in and out. There is plenty of beach equipment available here we used 4 beach chairs, 1 lounge chair, 3 bodysurf boards, two beach mats, 2 umbrellas, 1 cooler, and a couple floating devices. (There are more stuff if needed). The pool area and the BBQ area is spacious, it good that the white sands beach managment takes care of cleaning this area frequently. Restroom near the pool are very clean. TV is little small and picture is not that clear as most recent led TVs, however, since we were exploring outside most of the time and only spent very less time watching TV that wasn't an issue for us. Plenty of extra linens and pillows, sheets and comforters. I would love to stay at this property agin on my next visit.

Amazing Kona Holiday

Perfect place for being close to everything in Kona and also quiet and private. Loved the condo and great kitchen with everything for meal prep. Across the street from beach and a great restaurant. Highly recommend.

Reviewer Comments: Only negative experience was locating the right condo door since the apartment number is not marked (hint: it is first door to left when stepping off elevator. Was unnerving attempting to enter not knowing if it was the right door coming from Florida where you can be shot for even being on someone’s doorstep where you don’t belong on accident. Other than this experience, GREAT condo well-stocked with all kitchen pots/pans/plates/cups/utensils for more than 8 people. Extra trash bags, laundry detergent, TP, paper towels, dishwasher pods, towels, extra sheets/blankets/pillows. The couch is also a full sleeper if needed to accommodate more than 4 people. Balcony is very nice sized overlooking the pool/hot-tub/BBQ pavilion and views of mountains on one side and beach and sunset on the other. Spectacular vistas!! Couch/bed comfortable. Very clean. Do expect a couple crawlers as it is tropical climate but bug spray in closet. Ample beach towels, beach gear (boogie boards/cooler/2 chairs/beach mats/snorkel gear. Covered parking under the condo right next to elevator (quick/roomy) and stairs. Condo is across the street from a pristine white sands beach with bathrooms, outdoor showers, plenty of shade, sand volleyball court, lifeguard in stand (they are very vocal to warn visitors of the danger of the waves). Beach sand is very soft, no shells and waves are more appropriate for boogie boarders...even the entrance to the beach water. Beautiful crystal clear turquoise waters, but waves are rough upon entry. There is another safer beach a couple blocks north on Ali’i drive with rock walls to break the waves if you prefer calmer waters. I’m a good swimmer, and hubby (6ft 1in) and I both got knocked down and dragged by a wave in the entrance to the beach water. I respect the waves and typically stay shallow for this reason, but still rough waves even in the entry. Lots of sunglasses in the water and even dragged one of my flip flops from the rocky ledg

Magical Vacation!

Our stay at White Sands Village was PERFECT and I would highly recommend this condo to everyone. Everything about the condo was great. The pool was great for my kids (ages 7, 9) although there was not much of a shallow end. During our stay, the beach was perfectly sandy (apparently it's called "magic sands beach" because sometimes the ocean carries the sand away, and it's only lava rock, and there's no way to predict when that might happen!). It was so easy to walk across the street to the beach, and the condo was packed with beach and pool toys, anything you could need! There was an outdoor hose at the condo to wash off the sand, both in the parking lot and by the pool. We grilled almost every night in the shared grill area. The condo itself was right by the pool, and we had a view of the sunset. We ate dinner on the large lanai every night (that was a GREAT space!). We appreciated the AC and the washer/dryer. I would stay in this condo again in a heartbeat. It was about a 12 minute drive into Kona for dining, shopping, or tours. The managing company was also very helpful because our flight arrived early and they allowed up to check into the room early. They were very responsive to my questions. I did not want to leave and I can't wait to come back!

Great location and good ocean view.

If there were half stars, I'd give this condo 4 1/2 stars. It is quite small, but comfortable. We loved being within walking distance of the beach, and the beach area will be even nicer when the construction is done. I did not give it a perfect rating because, at a minimum, the kitchen floor and some furnishings need to be updated. Just a warning if you're retired and like peace and quite - try to get a unit in the upper building of the complex. That is because people really enjoy the pool that is between the two lower buildings. As a result, there is "happy" noise from the swimmers, especially in the evening.

We loved the quiet location away from the hustle and bustle of town but still close enough to restaurants and stores. Parking couldn't have been more convenient to the location of the elevator/stairs and the unit. This made moving in and out a breeze! The management company was in constant contact to make sure our stay was enjoyable. We had a few minor hiccups that were easily rectified. I appreciate their diligence and precision with solutions. The unit is well furnished and has ample supplies for cooking. We loved the fact that there were supplies for the beach as well as snorkeling. Overall our stay was great and I wouldn't hesitate to return to this location.

Everything you need

This place was perfect for our stay. It was very clean and the bedding and towels were comfortable and of good quality. The kitchen was well stocked. Everything you need for a day at the beach is available - boogie boards, snorkels, umbrellas, coolers. The property is very well maintained. The pool and hot tub are in great shape and the salt water feels amazing. The changing area/restrooms and BBQ area are also very nice. The location is great. The magic sand beach and an excellent restaurant are right across the street. Ali’i drive is busy but noise was not an issue at all. We will definitely stay here next time we are on the island.

Top ausgestattete Wohnung an Traumstrand

Die Wohnung liegt im ersten Stock in einem größeren Gebäudekomplex. Zur Anlage gehört ein schöner Pool und WhirlPool, ebenso eine BBQ Ecke und Pool-Billard. Auf dem Balkon befindet sich eine riesige Truhe mit viel Beachzubehör (Schirme, Bodyboards, Schnorchel, Flossen etc.), im Schrank gabs auch noch Tennisausrüstung und 2 große Kühlboxen für unterwegs, die wir täglich benutzt haben. Badetücher ebenfalls vorhanden, ebenso Waschmaschine und Trockner, in der Küche Spülmaschine (alles samt Waschmittel). Die beiden EInzelbetten sind recht hart, sonst haben wir aber nichts zu bemängeln. Alles war super sauber, die Küche ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man benötigt. Minimale Grundausstattung an Lebensmitteln ist da (Öl, Essig, Salz, Gewürze und ein paar Konserven). Fernseher etc haben wir nicht benutzt, WLAN lief schnell und zuverlässig. Die Klimaanlage haben wir nicht gebraucht. Die Türen sind mit Fliegengittern ausgestattet, so konnte man mit offenen Türen ohne Klimaanlage schlafen. Das Beste ist die Lage - direkt gegenüber ist der White Sands Beach, ein Traum in Türkis mit vielen Schildkröten, Schnorcheloptionen und je nach Wetter auch vielen Wellen. Für Familien mit Kindern auf jeden Fall eine klare Weiterempfehlung!

Great Location Condo

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is great place to stay for both great beaches and places to eat or shop! We could just cross the road & we were at magic/white sands beach! The condo was roomy, very well stocked & really clean, plus very comfy beds. It had everything you would need for a day at the beach...”everything “! We didn’t lack for anything. We could sit on the Lanai & hear the ocean waves. The pool are was very nice and relaxing. We would definitely recommend this place to others and plan on returning sometime in the future!
