Fantastic stay in this amazing villa

We had a wonderful stay in Kokkino Chorio (Nr Plaka, Chania) - Zeus Bay Villa was fantastic. An incredibly well situated villa with glorious sea views. The villa itself was spacious with a number of outdoor spaces and balconies to enjoy the scenic views.

Amazing stay

Always finding new things in the cupboards that were provided. Pool and view spectacular as was the lovely garden. All the rooms had a balcony and then there was the roof terrace and the games room. Local places to eat and food shops within 5 mins.

Amazing House

Very nice and high quality house in an extremely quiet area. We liked the location exceptionally well. It was a hot vacation season, and unfortunately the air conditioning does not work, in the rooms at night it was almost 30 degrees, difficult to sleep. Fortunately we got fans, which made it a bit more bearable. Despite this technical shortcoming, we would come back anytime.

This villa is amazing in every way. The house itself is modern and spacious, with everything you might need, every room has a bathroom and balcony, the kitchen is superbly equipped. The location is breath-taking, with wonderful unspoilt views to sea. Gorgeous infinity pool, comfy sun loungers, pool toys, table tennis, huge wonderful gardens. It's the best villa we've ever stayed in. You can walk to Plaka and enjoy the great tavernas (it also has 2 supermarkets), Almyrida is just a short drive away, as is Kalyves. If you feeling brave you can even venture down to find secret sea swimming coves right in front of the house (not for the fainthearted). We also did a greta cooking course in nearby Vamos village. Our best holiday yet, thank you!

Wonderful Villa, perfect location

We were a family group of five, all adults and had a wonderful holiday in Zeus Bay Villa. The Villa itself more than lived up to our high expectations providing comfortable accommodation and privacy for all. The technical set-up of the pool, air-conditioning, WiFi, lighting etc all worked perfectly and for us the icing on the cake was the location. There were great views and the villa felt secluded whilst being within an easy walk from the charming village of Plaka, which had all the amenities that you might need, including a selection of tavernas and well stocked mini supermarkets. The villa’s garden was delightful and the entertainment options including, a boule court, table tennis, games room with pool table all proved popular. The swimming pool was fantastic, well maintained and the ideal temperature. The mid-week and weekend cleaning was an added bonus. We would highly recommend this villa.

On of best villas we have stayed in past 12 years

For the past 12 years we have been vacationing in Europe and this is one of the top 3 villas we have stayed in. While it is a little difficult to find , the seclusion it offers is well worth it. The villa was modern , clean and had outstanding views of the sea from every room. The heated pool was wonderfull. Our young granddaughters and we adults enjoyed it all seven days we were there. While they did not have Netflix/HBO etc , they did have good internet , a good collection of DVDS.and multiple tvs . Each bedroom was spacious , had comfortable beds and balconies with outstanding views. The house had metal shutters that allowed everyone to sleep in. We had a minor problem caused by our own error which the manager corrected immediately. The kitchen has everything you need to prepare a meal. You can dine inside , outside or on your own balcony. There are many nearby restaurants and one in Almyrida we loved enough to dine there 4 nights. Elia and Thyme - excellent service, great food every time and very affordable. We went to 4 outstanding beaches , not counting Almrida beach which was very nice. We went jet skiing on Georgioupolis and Falasarna beaches. We took the tour to Balos - TIP. do not take the tour that includes a bus trip there. too long - instead just drive to Kissamos and buy a boat ticket there. You can drive directly by car to the beach, but the road is really bad. Finally ,we drove to our favorite beach , Elafonissi , for a day on a warm pink tinted sand beach. All 5 beaches are sand beaches as opposed to pebbles/stones. The villa has a beautiful garden that invites you to sit and enjoy the views. We were always glad to return to the villa and relax. We drove to Chania our favorite town for shopping and dinner. This villa has it all , modern facilities , beautiful location and privacy.

Familjen Andersson 2/10-21

Fantastiskt utsikt och jätte fint hus. Allt man behöver fanns. Kul med pingisbord och biljardbord. Ligger liten bit från affärer så man behöver bil. Städningen var jättebra och värdinnan var alltid hjälpsam både innan och under vistelsen. Kan varmt rekommendera.

Traumhaus mit tollem Meerblick in abgeschiedener Lage

Das Haus ist toll und mit allem Erdenklichen ausgestattet. Alles ist in einem sehr guten Zustand. Der beheizte Pool ist von der Größe perfekt. Es gibt nichts zu bemängeln! Wir bedanken uns für die Gastfreundschaft!

One of the most amazing places I have stayed...

We have just returned from a stay at Villa Zeus Bay and had the most fantastic time. Location-wise, the villa is perfectly situated, just a short walk from local Plaka and a 5 minute drive to Almyrida. We used the night taxi arranged by Frankie which helped us get our bearings which I would highly recommend. The villa itself is perfect, the photos don’t do it justice. The gardens, recently landscaped, are incredible and the property was pristine and had everything you could possibly need. Our beds were comfortable and our Villa manager was brilliant with any queries we had. Overall, we feel very fortunate to have been able to spend time there and hope to return one day in the future! Thank you so much to Frankie, Fiona and also to Gary and his wife!

We loved our family holiday at Zeus Bay Villa. Beautiful place ideal in location and very peaceful and beautiful! The villa was not lacking a thing. Would stay there again and again. See you next year

Le paradis...

Première fois en Crète, nous avons voyagé avec nos deux enfants (3 ans et 15 mois) pendant 12 jours. La villa est absolument parfaite et sa vue est à couper le souffle. Le confort est total : 3 chambres indépendantes avec SDB et WC, 7 terrasses (!!) dont une sur le toit permettant de profiter de beaux couchers du soleil, cuisine bien équipée, salle de jeux et de cinéma en sous sol. Bref tout est parfait. La piscine est bien. Un petit bassin pour les enfants est pratique. Le bémol est qu'il n'y a aucune sécurité et elle est exposée au vent (que l'on a eu quasiment tous les jours) La prestation de service est top : ménage (total) fait deux fois dans le séjour, et pack d'arrivée compris dans le prix (fruits et légumes, eau, jus d'orange, vin, café, thé, pain,...) Cela est vraiment appréciable pour le premier jour. A savoir : il faut traverser un petit village et un chemin caillouteux pour accéder à la villa. Nous avions une voiture de location premier prix et cela restait praticable. Y aller les yeux fermés.

Je suis très heureux que vous avez passé un moment formidable à Zeus Bay Villa, et peut-être êtes tombé un peu amoureux de la belle île de Crète! La villa dispose d'un système d'alarme mais nous ne l'utilisons presque jamais parce que la zone est tellement sûre et le crime est presque inexistant. Le temps pendant que vous étiez ici était plus venteux que la normale pour mai - ce n'est généralement pas comme ça. Les villas à côté de l'eau font qu'il peut y avoir du vent de temps en temps mais quand la température est très chaude c'est une bénédiction. Ce fut un plaisir de vous accueillir ainsi que votre famille et nous espérons vivement vous revoir à un moment ou un autre dans un proche avenir. Frankie at Villas Crete Holidays
