We absolutely love Calypso. The view from our condo was just stunning The convenience of Pier Park right across the street with various shopping and restaurants is fantastic.The condo itself was clean, well decorated and comfortable but i will say it could use some definite upgrades. All in all we had a fantastic week in PCB as we will be back again next year.

Fantastic girls trip

Great resort and stay at the beach. Loved the quick access into the unit. One member of our group had stayed at the resort before so it was easy for us to know where to park and get to the elevators. Otherwise, would have taken us a little more extra time to figure out things. Beaches are great here!!!!

Loved our unit

Everything was great except we couldn’t get WiFi and used up all our data and I think the dryer needs repair. It gets hot but doesn’t circulate the air so the clothes take forever to dry.

We are available at the front desk should you have trouble during your stay and a vendor from the wifi provider available at all times. Great 1 bedroom

Tastefully decorated. Good mattress. Everything you need to enjoy the ocean. Shower water pressure adequate but not forceful. Standing lamp by breakfast bar needs repair. The Calypso is our favorite place to stay at PCB. I would stay in this unit again. Had to call help line when we got there, did not recieve door code, but they were quick to help. Have stayed in many VRBO units at Calypso, loved this one.

Exactly as pictured

I regularly come to PCB, but normally stay in quieter areas on far west ir east end. Chose this unit because of proximity to pier so that my husband could walk right to the pier. Having that quick access without worrying about parking was great. The 4thbif July fireworks right at the condo was excellent. The unit is exactly as pictures show, and it was very clean. The bed was very, very comfortable! The only downside to this condo is that it is full of so many young people that stay out late on the beach and, even being on the 19th floor, they were very loud until the morning hours. If you want easy access to Pier Park and a lot going on, you will enjoy. We will come back for location to pier.

Ok stay….but

Never got the garage code email. Had a ask for it an hour before we left. Floor wasn’t clean…had to wear shoes inside otherwise feet would be black. No comforter/blanket for pull out couch. Master bed need replaced…dips on each side. We’ve stayed at numerous condos here and would not stay here again.

Calypso Fun

We had a wonderful stay and enjoyed the resort! Pools are excellent, tiki bar for drinks very nice and receptionist was great at front desk. Loved the room and would stay here again. We will always get a room that has the master over looking the ocean- an incredible view AND no outside/hallway noise when trying to sleep. We spent many hours out on the large balcony taking in the incredible view. The unit had everything we needed for the week, bed was extremely comfortable and nice to have a second 1/2 bath for getting ready. Only issue (very slight) was dryer needs vent to be thoroughly cleaned out. Even with a clean lint trap it was still taking several cycles to dry a load. Loved that they had a Keurig as I had brought my k-cups! Great location- we spent most nights waking around Pier Park after dinner which was so nice. Take a trip to Hook’d (walking distance on the Pier) and spoil yourself with a Mango Colado and their grouper basket👍🏻 We love PCB and will be back!

Disappointing

This condo was by far the worst we have stayed in. Not clean especially what they charge for cleaning after your stay.No luggage carts to be found on arrival or departure. We walked into a bag of dirty linen on the floor which was picked up the next day. Condo is outdated. Garbage disposal did not work and the sink smelled like the city dump when you turned the water on.Blinds did not shut properly. The bed was broken and propped up by some plastic whatever, which broke when my wife sat on the end of the bed so we improvised and used a pot out of the kitchen. The dryer did not stop when you opened the door. Pool was suppose to open at 9 o’clock, three out of seven days that did not happen and one day it was after ten. Sorry to say we will not be back to the Calypso. You should not have to call after you arrive to have things fixed that we’re in disrepair before hand, period!

Family vacation

We stayed at Calypso Tower 1 and this unit was clean. If you’re one that gets hot, get this unit the AC works really well! The location is nice, walking distance to Pier Park. The garage is across the street by Tower 3, there is a skyway that connects the garage to Towers 1&2, parking is an additional cost. Although this is a very large building we didn’t find the pools over crowded. Once we made a deposit the management company informed us to pay the remainder on their website, VRBO confirmed that this is ok but I would have preferred to stay on this platform. It gave me worries going on a different website and we’re paying additional fees to VRBO for using their site. The check in is at 4pm but can be up to 6pm during peak days. Our room wasn’t ready at 4pm but no one told us, I wish they had a way of giving people a heads up.
