Casa Juana 5 min gang til Playa Bil Bil, ved siden af Parque Paloma i Benalmadena

Velkommen til mit 2-etagers 100m2 hus med sydvestvendt 35m2 privat terrasse og en tagterrasse (næsten 50 m2) med udsigt over havet og bjergene. Swimmingpoolen er kun få meter væk og den nærmeste strand, Playa de Bil Bil, 300 meter væk.

Huset ligger på et sikkert, indhegnet kompleks, langt fra hovedveje og støj. Der er en parkeringsplads i den underjordiske garage, men på grund af den fantastiske beliggenhed er en bil ikke nødvendig (en taxa til / fra Malaga lufthavn skal koste ca. EUR 20).

Den nærmeste bar / restaurant ligger i det berømte Parque de la Paloma, kun et par minutters gang væk. Der er også masser af barer / restauranter ved havet. Hvis du kan lide at lave mad, finder du et fuldt udstyret køkken og endda en 1001 opskriftsbog i huset. Der er 2 veludstyrede supermarkeder inden for 10 minutters gang fra huset, og et lille supermarked et par minutters gang fra huset, hvor du kan få alle dine ting.

Selwo Delfinarium er den nærmeste attraktion for familien og ligger lige ved siden af komplekset, så du kan svømme med delfiner og havløver når det passer dig. Det træforede rum mellem Selwo og Parque de la Paloma (ca. 200 meter væk fra huset) bruges til lokale festivaler og sjove messer, så du sandsynligvis vil opleve en andalusisk begivenhed der under dit ophold. Hvis du er i kultur og arkitektur, er castillo Bil Bil (lige ved siden af stranden 300 meter væk fra huset) stedet at besøge og undre sig over. Om sommeren er der gratis friluftsbiograf på stranden ved siden af Castillo Bil Bil.

Beautiful house, great location

Our holiday at this property has been fantastic! Joanna provided us with lots of really useful information prior to our visit and our arrival meet was seamless, despite it being late at night. The property is absolutely stunning, spacious, clean and well equipped with lots of extra touches to make us feel at home quickly. It was very secure and located in a great place. The outside areas were lovely to sit in and had lots of shade or sun depending on what we wanted. The swimming pool was brilliant, a lovely shallow part for our kids to play in and a deeper part for swimming. The residents were also very friendly and welcoming when we met in the pool area. There are good local amenities a within a short distance and we were very close to both Paloma Park and Selwo Marina Delfinarium where the dolphin shows are. The beach and main areas were just a short downhill walk away. We would absolutely recommend a stay at this property and plan to come back ourselves in the future.

Fabulous house

we just spent 2 weeks staying at this lovely house on arrival first impressions were very good cleanliness stood out it was immaculate .House is spacious well kept and everything there you could need for your stay . It was lovely sitting having breakfast in the private terrace which is a fair size and we also spent nights sitting out there chilling and chatting and as everything you need in Kitchen we ate in on evenings sometimes . It is situated in a very quiet area and also very clean area of Benalmadena so it nice for a relaxing break. we have stayed in Benalmadena many times over the last 20 yrs but i must say the house topped them all for cleanliness and space .We were met by Jose who helped us down the stairs to the house entrance with our cases and showed us around the house and told us if any problems just call him, he also returned one night to sort the T V out for us for the English channels (only needed because we had rain ) Jose also returned to book us out and again carried luggage up the steps as husband wasn't walking too well . Joanna was so easy to get in touch with both before and while on our holiday . The house also has a lovely sun roof terrace which is good for sun worshipers to top up your tan . The house is good for children too as it is very secure complex and the pool is good size for them we felt like it was our own private pool as it was so quiet in May so we made the most of it .There was ample hot water for showers for all 6 of us.We didn't need to use the air con with it being May it was cool enough in the house but can also be used to warm the place so nice get away for anytime of year . I would say that i agree with Joanna that although house may have easy access from the back i do not think suitable for wheelchair visitors as stairs up to bathroom would be a problem but i have told all my family and friends about the house as it is a really lovely place to stay and reasonable price . Auditorium bar is just across the road in Paloma park beautiful setting for a relaxing evening or an afternoon chill . Supermarkets are close by for everything you need lots of pubs and restaurants all close by and if you want to venture any further local bus is close too and you can go to Torremolinos or Benalmadena Pueblo (which has the most stunning views )and its only 1euro 25. Beautiful house!!

A group of friends stayed at Casa Juana for three weeks and we really enjoyed our stay there. The house is well stocked and served our needs well. The beach and main drag were not quite as close as we thought but we managed the uphill walk and by the end of the three weeks it was better. David the manager was prompt to answer any concerns or complaints that we had. Overall a good experience!

Beautiful, clean and in lovely quiet area. Everything you could wish for. f

The home is like a semi detached villa. The area is absolutely spot on. Joanna has been so helpful right from me booking and nothing was too much trouble for her. There were 6 adults in our party and plenty of room for us all. The two sun terraces and pool area were brilliant and we spent many hours around there. The beach is about 5-6 minutes walk and also walkable are the marina, Tivoli World, Selwo Dolphinarium and Paloma Park. The park is just magic and no matter what time of day you go, you are greeted by a host of cockerels and their chicks. There are also turtles, swans, rabbits, ducks and even green parakeets flying around. The marina with its Moorish designed apartments is perfect for.sitting at the waterside feeding the fish (1 euro for a large bag of bread) , having a nice cool drink and watching the world go by. All in all we had a fabulous time at Casa Juana and definitely hope to return soon.

Amazing holiday in Casa Juana for family of 5

We are a family of 5 and spent 2 absolutely amazing weeks at Casa Juana. Kids (3 girls 8 months, 4yo and 6yo) loved park which is less than 5 mins from casa and where you can find rabbits, chicken, donkey, goats and excellent playgrounds – they have even clowns during weekends. There is Delfinarium opposite the park where you can see a lot of animals apart from dolphins. Worth going there. Sea is only 5 minutes walk away. There are many other attractions nearby (maximum 20 mins away either by foot or taxi) – aquarium, butterflies, crocodiles, Hindu temple, theme/amusement park (Tivoli World), beautiful gardens, marina. To be frank, we did not see all of these places as kids simply loved playing in the house, on the patio and sharing time mainly between seaside and the park. There are plenty lovely restaurants on the seaside – which I wanted to go to. However, our kids did not fancy the restaurants and we had to cook. We are gluten and diary intolerant and it was very easy to find right food for us in well stuffed supermarkets which are 5-10 mins away. The kitchen at Casa Juana is well equipped and it was painless to cook there. You’ve got there everything you need to cook proper meals for a big group of people. As my kids were ill, I had to make 2 trips to the private hospital Xanit which is 20 mins away by taxi from Casa Juana. Xanit is pricy (c200Euro per visit) but if you are covered with insurance, the expense should be refunded. The treatment we received was perfect- the doctors spoke English, the hospital is very modern and we did not have to wait long. It was a first time for us to spend summer holidays in a rented house. Casa Juana is such a nice place that we are planning to repeat it. The house is clean, well equipped – the owner has thought even about things such as a baby chair or non slip mats for bath. The house is spacious and so it was lovey to put kids to bed upstairs and have some free time in the evening in the living room on the ground floor.

Joanna was very efficient in replying to our queries.The photographs are true to real life .The house offered enough space for four adults.Jose met us on time but we were totally unprepared for the 28 stone steps leading to the house .This causes a problem when you have heavy cases .It would have been better to come in the back door.The air con was brilliant as it was unseasonably hot.Two things I would change is the old tv ,it powers down after an hour, and the two satellite receivers clash with each other.Also the pillows are the size of a cushion ,I would supply full size ones .

Thank you for your valuable feedback. I have passed your comments to my local manager as there are actually 2 non-step ways to the house (1 from the agreed meeting point) and I agree that these should work better when guests arrive with suitcases. The issue with pillows could have been easily resolved if we knew about it as there are a number of long pillows in the house and if they are not on the beds then they should be found in the cupboard marked "duvets/pillows". Guests are free to help themselves to extra pillows (there are different sizes for different needs) and Jose is always on call to provide local assistance. However, I passed the comment for the cleaning team so that they consider when making the beds. Lastly, a brand new TV will be coming very soon. I hope that you will consider visiting Casa Juana again to see the improvements. Best regards, Joanna

Very spacious family apt in great location

Having just stayed at this accommodation we was very impressed by the size of the apartment! Very spacious with a massive roof terrace. The bedrooms were really big and the air conditioning was a god send (especially in the 40• temperature). The pool was lovely and quiet and the supermarket only 5 min walk. The only thing we found was some of the furniture was becoming tired, but that is just being picky and given the amount of people coming and going it will wear quite quick. All in all a very enjoyable holiday and have already been looking at next year.

Très bon séjour!

Maison très agréable et très spacieuse pour 6 personnes. La maison est à 20 pas de la piscine et la plage est toute proche. La maison est très bien équipée pour passer un bon séjour et José qui nous a accueilli est très sympathique. Nous conseillons vivement cette location et nous sommes prêts à y retourner!

SIMPLEMENTE GENIAL

Todo perfecto. Alojamiento con todo lo necesario. Una ubicación estupenda, a menos de 10 de la playa, y con la piscina a pie de patio. Tranquila para descansar y disfrutar de las vacaciones. Sin duda volveremos. Por poner una pega, la playa. Una playa de rocas, en algunos momentos peligrosa. pero eso no depende del apartamento.

Great location, spacious accommodation

The location of this property couldn't be better - just a few minutes walk from the beach and close to shops, supermarkets, bars and restaurants. Ideal for families, with one double room and 2 twin rooms. It was clean but could do with a bit of updating and some of the outdoor furniture was in need of replacing. We felt it was rather sparsely equipped, and had we been planning to do a lot of cooking we might have struggled. Some spare towels would have been useful, there weren't enough provided to put one in the downstairs toilet. The swimming pool was very close to the property and with a grassy area next to it was a lovely place to relax and sunbathe. The owner was extremely helpful and communicative, and we had no problems with key collection etc. Overall the properly suited us well for what we needed and we would definitely stay there again.

Many thanks for your comments. I am glad that overall you had a great time and would consider returning. It is important for me to review all the points made as I would like you and my other future guest to feel that they are getting a 5 star service. Regarding furniture, I keep improving/replacing older furniture so it is an ongoing project. Generally, outdoor furniture gets the highest wear and tear and each year I make investments in this area. I would like to add some kitchen equipment and your guidance as to what you felt was missing (apart from a dishwasher due to lack of space) will be appreciated. For big eating, there are a couple of dish sets for 6 and also a few plastic dish sets for kids, but I appreciate that in terms of cooking maybe larger pots would be helpful. My apologies if there was an oversight on the towel's front and next time please feel free to speak to Jose during your stay. The standard at Casa Juana is that 2 towels are provided per person - a bath towel and a hand towel (up to 8 guests so 16 towels) and on top of it there should be a hand towel in the downstairs loo.

Would recommend this!

We had a great holiday in Benalmadena! Everything was as promised in the house. The location was very good... close to the beach but not far from the railway station either. There was a lot to do and see nearby. The house was excellent for a big family.

Great location and very comfortable

We stayed at Casa Juana at the end of April for a week with a group of 6 friends. The house is very comfortable and spacious - 3 double bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a toilet. House is equipped in all amenities a holiday maker may need - even the deckchairs and sunbeds! And of course Wifi and aircon. We especially liked the swimming pool next to the house - felt like it was for our private use (it is part of the complex). Location is just perfect - literally 5 minutes to the beach and maybe 7minutes to a long line of good value and great quality restaurants (ask for wine on the house:) There is a very well stocked supermarket within 10minutes walk, you can also buy some basic grocery at the fuel station by the beach. We also loved the park within 5 minutes walk of the house - Paloma Parque - beautifully laid out, full of exotic plants and even animals. There is also a very nice cafe at the entrance.

Fabulous holiday

We are a couple with two small kids (aged 1 and 3) and this holiday house was just perfect for us - very spacious, clean and comfortable. Our kids loved playing in the outdoor patio (very safe), which was also great for meal times and sunbathing. The baby cot and highchair were appreciated. The beds were made when we arrived and towels were provided. There is quite a nice beach within walking distance with lots of seafront bars and restaurants, the beautiful marina not to be missed. Quite a few activities for kids are available in Benalmadena or nearby towns (delphinarium and big park with playgrounds next to the house, Sea Life and pirate ships at the marina and many others). Perfect location for a family holiday. We will definitely want to come back.

Lovely apartment. Great views and location

The apartment was fantastic. It was clean and very toddler friendly. It had plenty of room for five adults and a toddler. There was a bed spare and a sofa bed left over which meant you could have more people if needed. The location was great as it wasn't too far from the main strip and beaches. If it had been further up it would of probably have been too far out of the way as it got quite steep for a buggy. It had everything you could need and I found having a washing machine great so you didn't have to worry about not taking enough clothes. The only thing that was a let down was that the pool wasn't open with it being out of season. But the owners couldn't help that. Would reccomend and stay there again if we decided to visit again.

Fabulous place to stay

Just returned from a weeks stay. House was great, immaculate and very spacious. We had a family of 5 staying and there was more than enough room. We mixed between eating out at the numerous restraunts and at the house which has a great outside table area and another roof terrace. It's seconds away from paloma park which is great a a gentle stroll to the beach and bars. Would highly recommend and the owner is really helpful too!

I am Polish and British. I love Spanish culture, food, architecture, landscape and the sun but while I am busy with my day job, I let other holidaymakers to enjoy my little piece of Spain.

This spacious property is in a quiet community and allows to relax on large terraces, indoors or by the pool, and at the same time it offers a convenient base for exploring Benalmadena beaches and other attractions. The sea is only 5 minutes walk away and the beautiful public park Paloma is even closer, with cafes, animals, various plants and water features guarantees a peaceful time for the whole family!

Benalmadena offers a multitude of attractions:

- a miles long promenade along the beach where in low season you can enjoy cycling or skating, otherwise this is the best place to eat out and shop
- the famous Benalmadena marina where you can take a boat to other places, or hire water equipment such as windsurfing, otherwise this is also one of the best places to eat out and chill out
- gyms and green areas on the beach free for the public
- beach volleyball fields
- free open air cinema on the beach on summer weekends
- Selwo delfinarium where you can swim with dolphins and sea lions (next to Parque de la Paloma)
- The Sea World with sharks and other sea animals
- an ice rink (yes, that's right!)
- tennis courts (on Avenida de la Palmeras)
- skateboaring ramps (near Parque de la Paloma)
- a cable car going to the top of Caramorro (next to the train station Benalmadena/Arroyo de la Miel - 15 min walk from the house)
- birds of pray and horse shows on top of Caramorro
- golf courses, the nearest big one in Torrequebrada only minutes away from the house by car
- an Aquapark in neighbouring Torremolinos (taxi there is cheap)
- Fuengirola zoo (15 mins by train from the Benalmadena/Arroyo de la Miel station)
- guaranteed sun and cheap food and drink!!!

Please note that the Tivoli amusement park is currently closed
