Thanks so much Cherie for your kind remarks! Fortunately the hotter than typical summer weather for Florida seems to be behind us. Like most commercial pools in the area we are unable to stay open after nightfall with the pool license and it would likely be too noisy for other guests at the Inn to relax & rest. Thank you for your feedback so that we can continue to improve. There is a 24/7 customer service guest support line and also our property manager is named Elena with her phone number clearly posted on the refrigerator. Amy just handles reservations questions. Photographs for this property are accurate and recent. It is clear in the description that this is a multifamily property – this is part of blue Island Inn. Similar to a condo, each unit at the Inn has their own interior yet they share common outdoor amenities. Our Housekeepers are typically fantastic - yet Elena experienced a rare slight delay that day due to car trouble which she explained to you as she provided extra amenities & offered late checkout to you. There was a brief urgent pipe repair needed by the swimming pool area that maintenance team completed as quickly as humanly possible - and most guests said was not a big deal at all & hit the beach instead as the repair was quickly made. Housekeepers were offering the choice of three different gift cards for this minor inconvenience to any guest there. If for some reason you did not get that message just call the customer support line with your home mailing address and your choice of gift card and it will be sent with our sincere apologies for any inconvenience. Most guests are reasonable, but Guests who demand big refunds for minor issues, are not welcome back as we consider to be a rude over reach. Sincerely, the blue island inn team

Happy to hear you enjoyed our fantastic view of beautiful Lemon Bay and found Bella Vista to be a great place to stay, relax, and still be near the beach and Key restaurants. For future guests - try Stumpy's free ride (tipped based golf shuttle - I tried it out for a girls getaway and it was wonderfully easy!

We have a new feature on our free online guests guides for your next trip - let "AI" plan your itinerary - I just tried it out myself and I got an incredible day by day suggested activity list based on my group's interests in just a few seconds. Gotta love AI for travel - it's like having your own travel agent. (I obviously know the area quite well and "AI" suggestions were spot on!
