Beautiful home

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Stay was great. The home does need a little TLC as we had issues with the plumbing, the AC Unit, the ice maker did not work properly and woke me up in the middle of the night with a banging noise. Some of the kitchen cabinet doors were broken and other little things as well. Overall, great location, beautiful home.

Great location. Easy walk to Rosemary and Alys. Good for large groups. Beach chairs were in a bedroom closet. Plenty of kitchen equipment. Difficult check in due to access codes not working, another issue came up during our stay and was promptly handled.

Seacrest beach vacay

This condo is great! We had a wonderful view and plenty of room inside for 6 adults and two babies. The kitchen is well stocked and even has plenty of storage containers, lots of varieties of drink ware, dishes, pots, pans and serving pieces. They have a good library and plenty of beach chairs, shovels and pails. The only drawbacks were all of the foot traffic to and from the beach because it is the public access point, the grills did not work and the pool was so cloudy you couldn’t see your feet on the bottom.

Relaxing Beach Vacation

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Beautiful condo with an amazing view of the Gulf. Well stocked kitchen and “fun on the beach” supplies. Bring extra paper products and trash bags. Note the beach is very crowded this summer. If you’re bringing your own beach chairs, set up by 7am. If you’re renting beach chairs and have not reserved a spot in January/February, expect to be 4 to 5 rows back from the water. Our family of 4 had a wonderful time and the condo accommodations were perfect for us!

Great Beach Week with Family

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The beautiful view, lovely decor, close proximity to the pool and beach made for a fun beach week with our adult kids and grandkids. Plenty of room for all, more than well equipped kitchen to cook meals, great location if you wanted to dine out and best of all a short walk to beach and just down one floor to the pool. The credit that came with the condo to rent children's high chairs and pack and plays was very helpful as well. Did not know about that when I rented the condo. Only complaint is it would have been nice if the starter products for dishwasher, washer and trash can were more plentiful. They are specific for those appliances and hate to by those in the quantities they come and have no use later for unused items.

Beautiful and clean property but area busy

Right on the beach, condo is phenomenal. Getting checked in was difficult because of gates. The gate workers wouldn’t let us in to get the gates fobs, which are in condo. They said to call property management. We called and spoke with call center multiple times and no one knew what to do. Didn’t hear from management until next day. Thankfully we went back and just begged and another attendant knew to let us in. So just be aware. Condo is very spacious, couches are comfortable, and bathrooms are large and clean. Great place to stay. If wanting to get front row seating at beach you must be there right at 9 to pay for chairs. On this property they went 3 rows back. I saw this on another review and knew to do this, and it does help! But you’re very close to everyone at beach. Private on either side so you can’t sit there.

Nice, Clean Place but had over crowded private beach!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was somewhat unhappy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Place was very nice and very clean. Fully stocked kitchen, beach chairs and toys were nice to have. Patio furniture was nice quality. Property management checked in often to see if we needed anything. Could use few more towels and wash cloths in bathrooms. Very disappointed with the amount of people on the private beach. Very crowded and in order to have a spot close to the water to set up chairs, I had to get up at 5:30 am to go set up chairs daily. Also, if you are looking to rent chairs need to call several weeks in advance. Online said they were booked up but once we arrived, they had availability but on the 4th row. In my opinion, there are too many rental chairs(5 rows from beach to back to complex). Half of the private beach is rental chairs that are so close together the umbrellas are close to touching the other half was open to beach goers to set up chairs/umbrellas. The property owner allows his renters that are staying across the street to access the same beach...a tram would haul the people fromAcross the street to the beach access, which made for an extremely over crowded beach. By 11 am, you have to step over blankets and items to walk around others to get to the water. Very disappointed and very dissatisfied with that. We were under the impression only 3 buildings were on site which is why we chose this location. Location was nice, local shopping and lots of places to eat. If you are looking for a place with low crowds on beach, this is not the place for you. Every other private beach on each side of our property had very small crowds, our private beach looked like the public beach.
Svar fra VrboOwner den 1. aug. 2025
Thank you for sharing your detailed feedback. We are glad to hear you found the property nice, very clean, and well stocked; and that our team was attentive during your stay. We appreciate your comments about the towels and washcloths, please note however that all our listings outline the number of amenities included in our starter kit so guests can plan accordingly. Regarding the beach, we understand your concerns about the crowding and rental chair setup. The beach is private to the complex but, as you noted, is also shared with renters from nearby properties, which can lead to higher occupancy and limited space during peak times. We realize this can impact the overall experience and regret any disappointment it caused. Your observations about chair rentals and beach layout are very helpful, and we will share them with the property owners and community management to explore ways to improve guest comfort and clarity in the future. We appreciate your honesty and hope despite the beach challenges, you were able to enjoy other aspects of your visit. Thank you again for staying with us. — Benchmark Management

Very dissapointing

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Condo is very nice and the views are amazing. Downside is we were never given key access to the community so every time we came and went with our cars we had to wait for someone to let us in... multiple times over 10 min. On top of that inconvenience, there was a cooler of rotten food left on our doorstep from the previous renters... that wasn’t picked up until later in the week. Huge disappointment with benchmark 30A

Manuel, We greatly appreciate you for taking the time to leave a review regarding your recent stay. Villas at Sunset Beach provides wonderful accommodations for families and friends alike! We're so sorry to hear about the inconveniences you endured. We did reach out to the HOA about the key issue and compensated you in hopes of rectifying the situation. We also sent someone out to address the cooler as quickly as possible after we were informed of the matter. We hope you were still able to enjoy your stay on 30A and would love an opportunity to provide you with the 5-star vacation we know were capable of! Sincerely, Benchmark Management

Nice place to bring your family!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We rented two three-bedroom, three-bath condos. They were both very nicely appointed and comfortable. The only problems we had were the many vacationers who had access to our beach steps and the beach was extremely crowded because of the open access for other condos and houses.
