This place is great in theory. It's newly remodeled and very clean, but my family's experience wasn't as awesome as I had hoped. Upon arrival, on a VERY warm day, we walked into a hot box. The host chooses to turn off the AC when no one is there, though we saw they have a system that can automate temperature and system mode for when guests arrive. They just choose not to use it.There was also a fragrance overload. From a toxic Glade Plugin in the living room that I had to unplug to potent bedding from laundry detergent, I had to keep the windows open whenever we were there. The beds were comfortable but squeaky, and the pillows were very uncomfortable. While I liked the minimalism and additional hooks in the bedrooms, it would have been great to have a dresser. Both rooms only have shelving for storage. One important note for other travelers is that this is one of two units in a house, and not a single-family house (this is hidden in the rental description). It wouldn't have mattered, but on our last night, a group checked into the unit behind us and were outside after quiet hours laughing and chatting it up while we tried to sleep. They were drunk and annoying, and while we contacted the host, we heard nothing for at least an hour. They weren't much help.Had any one of these things happened on their own, it would have been fine, but combined, it made for a not-so-great stay. On the plus side, we had a beautiful hummingbird friend who visited us every morning.
